1Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.
1Ngaiin, kumpipa khat diktat takin kumpipain a tu dinga, mi lainten vaihawmna diktakin vai a hawm ding uh.
2And a man shall be as a hiding-place from the wind, and a covert from the storm; as brooks of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land.
2Huan, mi khat huihpi laka bukna mun bang leh, vuahpi laka bitna mun bang ahi ding, mun keua tui luangte bang, gam tultaka suangpi lianpi nuamsa bang tak.
3And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken;
3Huchiin a mute mite a mial kei dinga, a zate bilin a ngaikhe ding.
4and the heart of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.
4Huan, sin-gammite lungin theihna thu a thei siam dinga, dang-awkte lei teltakin a pau thei ding.
5The vile man shall be no more called noble, nor the churl said to be bountiful:
5Mi gilou tuh mi thilphal a chi nawnta kei ding uh, milepchiah lah mi siam a chi nawn kei ding uh.
6for the vile man will speak villainy, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against Jehovah, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and to cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
6Pathien zahlouhna thil hih ding leh. TOUPA hekna dia thu diklou gen dingin, gilkialte sung hawmsak ding leh, dangtakte dawn ding hihmang dingin, mi gilouin lah gitlouhna thu a gen ngal dia, a lung lah thil a hih khial ding.
7The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the meek with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.
7Mi lepchiah vante jaw hoih lou ahi a; tangahten thu dik a gen un leng mi gentheite juau thu-a hihmang dingin aman lah thil lah thil gilou hih a ngaituah jel hi.
8But the noble deviseth noble things; and to noble things doth he stand.
8Mi thilphal bel thilphal lam thilte a ngaihtuah: huchiin thilphal lam thilte ah a om gige ding.
9Rise up, ye women that are at ease, hear my voice; ye careless daughters, give ear unto my speech.
9Numei mawkomte aw, thou unla, ka aw ngaikhia un; tanu pilvangloute aw ka the genah bil doh un.
10In a year and [some] days shall ye be troubled, ye careless women; for the vintage shall fail, the ingathering shall not come.
10Numei pilvangloute aw, kum khat leh ni bangzah hiam nungin na buaita ding uh; grep loh ding lah a om ngal kei dinga, grep loh khawm dingah leng bangmeh a suak sam kei ding hi.
11Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones; strip you, and make you bare, and gird [sackcloth] on your loins!
11Nunei mawkomte aw, ling nun: mi pilvenagloute aw, buaitakin on un; kisuah unla, vuaktangin kibawl unla, na kawng uahte saiip puan teng un.
12They shall smite on the breasts [in lamentation] for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vineyards.
12Lou deihte jiak leh grep gui gah nuamte jiakin a awm a tumtum ding uh.
13Upon the land of my people shall come up thistles [and] briars, yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city.
13Ka mite gam loulingnei leh khaulingneiin a buak ding; ahi, khopi nopsakhuai taka nopsakna in tengteng tungah:
14For the palace shall be deserted, the multitude of the city shall be forsaken; hill and watchtower shall be caves for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;
14Kumpipa in lah paisanin a om sin ngala; a mual pawng leh a galvanbuk lah khantawn kohawm ding leh, gam sanengtung kipahnate, ganhon tatna mun te ahi ding;
15until the Spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness become a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
15tung lama kipana kha ka tung ua suna a oma, gamdai lei hoih tak mun a suaha. lei hoihtak mun lah gammang banga sim a hih mateng.
16And judgment shall inhabit the wilderness, and righteousness dwell in the fruitful field.
16Huai hunin vaihawm diktatna tuh gamdaiah a teng dinga, diktatna tuh lei hoih tak munah a om ding.
17And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance for ever.
17Huan, diktatna nasep tuh kituahna ahi dinga, diktatnaa thil pawt lah khantawna muang taka omna leh kitheihchetna ahi ding.
18And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting-places.
18Huchiin ka mite bel galmuanga omnaah leh in kipakah te leh khawlna mun muanhuaitakahte a omta ding uhi.
19And it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place.
19Himahleh gammang bel hihpuk ding in gial a ke lomlom dinga; khopi lah hihniam mahmahin a om ding.Tui luanna piaua chi theh jel, bawngtal leh sanengtung khah jel te aw, nuam na sa uhi.
20Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth the feet of the ox and the ass.
20Tui luanna piaua chi theh jel, bawngtal leh sanengtung khah jel te aw, nuam na sa uhi.
