1{[A Psalm] of David.} Blessed be Jehovah my rock, who teacheth my hands to war, my fingers to fight;
1Toupa ka suangpa tuh phatin om hen, aman ka khutte galkap a zilsak jela, ka khutzungte dou dingin a chil jel hi.
2My mercy and my fortress, my high tower and my deliverer, my shield and he in whom I trust, who subdueth my people under me!
2Ka chitna leh ka kulhpi, ka insang leh honhumbitpa, ka phaw leh ka muanna ngakna ka nuaia ka mite zoujelpa ahi.
3Jehovah, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him, the son of man, that thou takest thought of him?
3Toupa mihing kua ahia a hiha, na theih naknak? Mihing tapa leng kua ahia a hiha, na ngaihtuah naknak?
4Man is like to vanity; his days are as a shadow that passeth away.
4Mihing jaw bangmahlou bang lel ahi a: a damsung nite lim mang jel bang ahi.
5Jehovah, bow thy heavens, and come down; touch the mountains, that they smoke;
5Toupa aw, na vante kunsakin hongpai suk inla: tangte koih in, huchiin a khukhe ding uhi.
6Cast forth lightnings, and scatter them; send forth thine arrows, and discomfit them:
6Khua phesak inla, amau tuh dalhsakin: na thalte tuh kap khia inla, hihbuai gawp in.
7Stretch out thy hands from above; rescue me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of aliens,
7Tunglam akipanin na khutin honsawk inla; honhonkhia inla, tuilian akipanin:
8Whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
8A kam un bangmahlou peuh a gen ua, a khut taklam utuh khut taklam diklou ahi.
9O God, I will sing a new song unto thee; with the ten-stringed lute will I sing psalms unto thee:
9Pathian aw, nangmah pahtawiin la thak ka sa dinga: pekging gui sawm nei toh nangmah phatin la ka sa ding hi.
10Who givest salvation unto kings; who rescuest David thy servant from the hurtful sword.
10Amah ahi, kumpipate kianga hotdamna piaa, namsau mi hihsethei laka a sikha David honkhepa pen.
11Rescue me, and deliver me from the hand of aliens, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
11Honhonkhia inla, mikhualte khut akipan honhumbit in, a kam un thu bangmahlou peuh a gen nak ua, a khut taklam uh khuttaklam diklou ahi.
12That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; our daughters as corner-columns, sculptured after the fashion of a palace:
12Ka tate uh a hongvalnou ua sing nou didip banga a om ua; ka tanute u leng inpi omdan gel banga a ninga suangkhuak banga a om hun un;

15Blessed the people that is in such a case! Blessed the people whose God is Jehovah!
15Huchibanga om mite tuh kipak takin a om nak uhi: ahi, Toupa Pathian a nei mite tuh kipak takin a om nak uhi.
