¹{A Psalm of David.} Jehovah, hear my prayer; give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, in thy righteousness.

²And enter not into judgment with thy servant; for in thy sight no man living shall be justified.

²Na sikha tungah vaihawm ken; na mitmuh ah mihing himhim siamtang a om ding lah a om ngal kei ua.

³For the enemy persecuteth my soul: he hath crushed my life down to the earth; he hath made me to dwell in dark places, as those that have been long dead.

³Melmain lah ka hinna a simmoh ngala; ka hinna tuh leiah a sat puka: sawtpi-a sisate bangin, mun mial takte ah honomsak hi.

⁴And my spirit is overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.

⁴Huaijiakin ka kha tuh ka gil sungah a baha: ka lungtang tuh ka gilsungah a mangbangta hi.

⁵I remember the days of old: I meditate on all thy doing; I muse on the work of thy hands.

⁵Nidanglai nite tuh ka theigige a; na thilhih tengtengte ka ngaihtuah jela na khut nasepte tuh ka sut jel hi.

⁶I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul, as a parched land, [thirsteth] after thee. Selah.

⁶ka khutte nang lamah ka jak jela; ka hinna, gam jawngkhaltak bangin, nangmah ah a dangtak nak hi. Selah.

⁷Answer me speedily, O Jehovah; my spirit faileth: hide not thy face from me, or I shall be like unto them that go down into the pit.

⁷Toupa aw, hondawng meng in, ka kha a bah dek hi; ka lakah na mai sel ken; huchilouin jaw kokhuk guama paisukta bang lelin ka naom kha ding hi.

⁸Cause me to hear thy loving-kindness in the morning, for in thee do I confide; make me to know the way wherein I should walk, for unto thee do I lift up my soul.

⁸Jingsangin na chitna thu hontheisak in; nang lah kon muang ngala; ka paina ding lampi hontheisak in; ka lungsim lah na kiangah ka koih kip jel ngala.

⁹Deliver me, O Jehovah, from mine enemies: unto thee do I flee for refuge.

⁹Toupa aw hondoute lakah hin humbit in; non nasel dingin na kiangah kongtai ahi.

¹⁰Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: let thy good Spirit lead me in a plain country.

¹⁰Na deihlam hih honkisinsak in; ka Pathian lah na hi ngala: na kha hoih in lamphei ah honpi jel hen.

¹¹Revive me, O Jehovah, for thy name's sake; in thy righteousness bring my soul out of trouble;

¹¹Toupa aw, na min jiakin honhihhalh inla: na diktatna jiakin ka hinna mangbatna akipan pikhia in.Na chitna jiakin hondoute hihmang inla, ka hinna hih mangbangte tengteng hihmang in; na sikha lah ka hi ngala.

¹²And in thy loving-kindness cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that oppress my soul: for I am thy servant.
