1{To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David.} In thee, Jehovah, do I trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in thy righteousness.
2Incline thine ear to me, deliver me speedily; be a strong rock to me, a house of defence to save me.
2Kei lamah na bil hondoh inla; honhumbit menin: kei dingin suangpi kiptak, hon hondamna dingin bitna in’ hong hi in.
3For thou art my rock and my fortress; and, for thy name's sake, thou wilt lead me and guide me.
4Draw me out of the net that they have hidden for me; for thou art my strength.
5Into thy hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, Jehovah, [thou] ùGod of truth.
5Na khut ah ka kha kon kemsak hi: Toupa aw, thutak Pathian, nang non tanta hi.
6I have hated them that observe lying vanities; and as for me, I have confided in Jehovah.
6Thil bangpeuh ginalou peuh ngaihtuahte tuh ka hua a; ken bel Toupa ka kamuang ahi.
7I will be glad and rejoice in thy loving-kindness, for thou hast seen mine affliction; thou hast known the troubles of my soul,
8And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large place.
9Be gracious unto me, Jehovah, for I am in trouble: mine eye wasteth away with vexation, my soul and my belly.
10For my life is spent with sorrow, and my years with sighing; my strength faileth through mine iniquity, and my bones are wasted.
10Ka damsung lungkhamna in a mangbangta ngeia, ka kumte thum na in a beita hi: ka thulimlouhna jiakin ka tha a jaw a, ka guhte leng a segawp hi.
11More than to all mine oppressors, I am become exceedingly a reproach, even to my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that see me without flee from me.
11Hondoute jiakin ka min a hong seta a, ahi ka vengte lakah nakpi in a seta hi, ka meltheihte a dingin leng kihtakhuaipi ka hita hi: kho laka hon muten lah hon taisan ta ngal ua.
12I am forgotten in [their] heart as a dead man; I am become like a broken vessel.
12Misi a mangngilh bangtak un mangngilh in ka om a: bel kitam bang lel ka hita hi.
13For I have heard the slander of many -- terror on every side -- when they take counsel together against me: they plot to take away my life.
13Mi tampi hon hekna ka za ngala, ka kima kihtakhuai om tuh hon sawm khawm lai un, ka hinna hon laksak a tum uhi.
14But I confided in thee, Jehovah; I said, thou art my God.
14Himahleh, Toupa aw, ka hon muanga: ka Pathian nahi ka chi a.
15My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from my persecutors.
15Ka hunte na khut ah a oma, hondoute khut a kipan leh hon sim mohte lakah honhumbit in.
16Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; save me in thy loving-kindness.
16Na melin na sikha hon sunvak in; na chitna jiakin hon hondam in.
17Jehovah, let me not be ashamed; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, let them be silent in Sheol.
17Toupa aw, zahlakin hon omsak ken; kon sam ngala: mi gilousalou zahlak in om uhen la, Sheol ah dai dinden in om uhen.
18Let the lying lips become dumb, which speak insolently against the righteous in pride and contempt.
18Muk juautheite pau theilou in om uhen; huaiten tuh kisathei leh musit kawmin pau taltakin mi diktat te a gense jel uhi.
19[Oh] how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee, [which] thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee, before the sons of men!
20Thou keepest them concealed in the secret of thy presence from the conspiracies of man; thou hidest them in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
20Amau tuh mihing omna lakah na humbitna mitmuh in na selgu dinga: lei selhatna lakah bukta ah na koih gu ding hi.
21Blessed be Jehovah; for he hath shewn me wondrously his loving-kindness in a strong city.
21Toupa phatin om hen: a chitdan lamdang tak tuh khopi kiptak ah a hon musak ngala.
22As for me, I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes; nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.
22Kei lah, ka hamhaih in, Na itmuh a kipan paih mangin ka omta, ka na chi maimah a; himahleh ka hon sapa hehpihna kon ngetna awte nana za ngala.
23Love Jehovah, all ye his saints. Jehovah preserveth the faithful, and plentifully requiteth the proud doer.
23A mi siangthou tengtengte aw, Toupa it un: Toupan mi ginom a humbit a, kisatheitaka gamta tuh nakpi tkain a thuk jel hi.Toupa lamen tengtengte aw, hattakin om unla, na lungtang uh hangsak un.
24Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all ye that hope in Jehovah.
