37

1{[A Psalm] of David.} Fret not thyself because of evil-doers, and be not envious of them that work unrighteousness;
1Thil hoihlou hihte jiakin kihih lungkham nuam dah inla, diklou taka hihte leng eng ken.
2for they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and fade as the green herb.
2Loupa bang in at paihin a om zok ding ua, louhing bang in a vuai ding uh ahi ngal ua.
3Confide in Jehovah, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on faithfulness;
3Toupa muang inla, thil hoih hih in; hiai gamah om inla, ginomna delh jelin.
4and delight thyself in Jehovah, and he will give thee the desires of thy heart.
4Toupa tungah leng kipak in; huchiin na lungtang deihlamte a honpe ding hi.
5Commit thy way unto Jehovah, and rely upon him: he will bring [it] to pass;
5Na omdan ding Toupa tungah nga inla; amah muang in, aman ahih vek ding.
6and he will bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
6Na dikdan vak bang in a suaksak dinga, na siamtandan leng sunlai bang maiin.
7Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him that prospereth in his way, because of the man that bringeth mischievous devices to pass.
7Toupa ah khawl inla, amah ngak nilouhlouh in; a omdana vangphatna mute jiakin kihihlungkham nuam dah in, ngaihtuahna giloute pichinmi jiakin.
8Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; fret not thyself: it [would be] only to do evil.
8Heh tawpsan inla, thangpaih kisik in: ki hihlungkham nuam ken, thil hihkhelh ah a hong ke maimah nak hi.
9For evil-doers shall be cut off; but those that wait on Jehovah, they shall possess the land.
9Thilhoihlou hihte hih mangin a om dek ngal ua: Toupa ngakten bel gam a luah ding uhi.
10For yet a little while, and the wicked is not; and thou considerest his place, but he is not.
10Sawtlou kal chik in mi gilou salou a om nawnta ngal kei dia: ahi a omna mun uh enen mah le chin, a omta kei ding hi.
11But the meek shall possess the land, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of prosperity.
11Thunuailutten bel gam a luah ding ua; ki tuahna thupitak tungah a ki pak ding uhi.
12The wicked plotteth against the righteous, and gnasheth his teeth against him.
12Mi gilou-salou in mi diktat a sawma, a ha a gawi khum nak hi.
13The Lord laugheth at him; for he seeth that his day is coming.
13Toupan amah a nuihsan ding. A ni a hongtung dek chih a theih jiak in.
14The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the afflicted and needy, to slay those that are upright in [the] way:
14Genthei leh tagahte hihpuk ding leh omdan dikte hihlum ding in mi gilou-salouten namsau a phawi ua, a thalpeute uh a lai uhi.
15their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.
15A namsau un amau lungtang a sun dinga, a thalpeute uh hihtanin a om ding hi.
16The little that the righteous hath is better than the abundance of many wicked;
16Mi diktat thil tawmchik neih tuh mi gilou-salou tampi thil neih keihkuihte sangin a hoihjaw ahi.
17for the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but Jehovah upholdeth the righteous.
17Mi gilou-salou bante hihtanin a om dek ngala: mi dik bel Toupan a len gige ding ahi.
18Jehovah knoweth the days of the perfect; and their inheritance shall be for ever:
18Toupan mi hoihkimte nite tuh a theia; a gouluah ding uh khantawna om gige ding ahi.
19they shall not be ashamed in the time of evil, and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
19Hun hoihlou ah a zahlak kei ding ua; kial kum inleng a vah ding uhi.
20For the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of Jehovah shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume, like smoke shall they consume away.
20Mi gilou-saloute bel a mangthang ding ua, Toupa doute leng loupa hing didep bang ahi ding uh; hihmanthat in a om ding ua, meikhu in a jammang ding uhi.
21The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again; but the righteous is gracious and giveth:
21Mi gilou-salou in a leitawia, a pe nawn kei naka; mi dik in bel mi a hehpih a, a pe zo nak hi.
22for those blessed of him shall possess the land, and they that are cursed of him shall be cut off.
22A vualjawlna muten gam a luah ding ua, a hamsiatte tuh hihmanthat in a om ding uhi.
23The steps of a man are established by Jehovah, and he delighteth in his way:
23Mi kalsuante tuh Toupa hihkip ahi a; a lampi ah a kipak nak hi.
24though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down, for Jehovah upholdeth his hand.
24Puk mahleh, lupden sakin jaw a om tel kei ding hi; Toupan a khutin a len gige ngala.
25I have been young, and now am old, and I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed seeking bread:
25Naupang ka na hita a, tuin tek ka hong hita a, himahleh mi diktat limsaklouha a omlam ka mu ngeikei hi, a suante anngolh leng ka mu ngei sam kei hi.
26all the day he is gracious and lendeth, and his seed shall be a blessing.
26Mi a hehpih gige a, a leitawi sak jela; a suante leng a hampha nak uhi.
27Depart from evil, and do good, and dwell for evermore;
27Gilou paisan inla, thil hoih hih in; huchiin khantawnin teng gige in.
28for Jehovah loveth judgment, and will not forsake his saints: They are preserved for ever; but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
28Toupan vaihawm diktatna a deih naknak ngala, a mi siangthoute tuh a paisan ngeikei hi, khantawn a ding in kep hoih in a om uh: mi gilou-salou suante bel hihmangin a om ding uhi.
29The righteous shall possess the land, and dwell therein for ever.
29Mi dikten gam a luah ding ua, a sungah khantawn in a om ding uh.
30The mouth of the righteous proffereth wisdom, and his tongue speaketh judgment;
30Mi dik kamin pilna thu a gen naknak, a leiin vaihawm diktatna thu a gen gige hi.
31the law of his God is in his heart; his goings shall not slide.
31A Pathian dan tuh a lungtang ah a oma; a kalsuan himhim a tolh kei ding hi.
32The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him:
32Mi gilou-salou in mi diktat a enkhia a, hihlup a tum gige hi.
33Jehovah will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.
33Toupan amah a khut ah a nose kei dinga, a vaihawm hun chiangin siamlouh tansak a phal sam kei ding hi.
34Wait for Jehovah, and keep his way, and he will exalt thee to possess the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see [it].
34Toupa tuh ngak inla, lampi tuh tawn in, huchiin gam luah dingin a hon pahtawi ding hi: mi gilou-saloute hihmanthata a om utuh na mu ding hi.
35I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading like a green tree in its native soil:
35Mi gilou-salou nakpi taka thu neia, a pouna muna singnou dawng thenthon banga, ka biambuam lai ka mu a.
36but he passed away, and behold, he was not; and I sought him, but he was not found.
36Himahleh lampi ah mi a va pai ua, huan, ngai dih, amah a na omtakei maimaha; ahi, ka zonga, himahleh muh theih ahi ta kei hi.
37Mark the perfect, and behold the upright, for the end of [that] man is peace;
37Mi gensiatbei chiamteh inla, mi diktak tuh en in, huchibang mite tawpna ding jaw khamuanna hi ding ahi ngala.
38but the transgressors shall be destroyed together; the future of the wicked shall be cut off.
38Talek te bel a kituaka hihsiat in a om chiat ding ua, mi gilou-salou tawpna ding tuh hihmanthat a hita ding hi.
39But the salvation of the righteous is of Jehovah: he is their strength in the time of trouble.
39Ahihhangin mi diktatte hotdamna tuh Toupa akipanin ahi; amah tuh mangbat laia kulhpi muan ahi.Toupan amau a panpihin a humbit a, amah ah a kituklut jiak un mi gilou-salou te lakah humbitin a hondam hi.
40And Jehovah will help them and deliver them: he will deliver them from the wicked, and save them; for they trust in him.
40Toupan amau a panpihin a humbit a, amah ah a kituklut jiak un mi gilou-salou te lakah humbitin a hondam hi.
