45

1{To the chief Musician. Upon Shoshannim. Of the sons of Korah. An instruction; -- a song of the Beloved.} My heart is welling forth [with] a good matter: I say what I have composed touching the king. My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
1Ka lungtang thil hoihin a let nawinawia: kumpipa tungtang thu-a ka la phuah ka gen ding hi: ka lei tuh laigelh siamtak kolom ahi.
2Thou art fairer than the sons of men; grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.
2Mihing tate sang in na mel a hoihjawa; hehpihna na muk a sun ahi; huaijiakin Pathian in khantawn adingin vual a honjawl ahi.
3Gird thy sword upon [thy] thigh, O mighty one, [in] thy majesty and thy splendour;
3Aw, mihat, na namsau na kawngah vom in, na thupina leh na kilawmna toh.
4And [in] thy splendour ride prosperously, because of truth and meekness [and] righteousness: and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
4Thutak leh thunuailutna leh diktatna jiakin na kilawmna silhin lamzang takin sakol tunga tuang in pai jel in: huchiin na khut taklamin thil mulkimhuaite a honhilh ding ahi.
5Thine arrows are sharp -- peoples fall under thee -- in the heart of the king's enemies.
5Na thal a zuma; michih na nuaiah a puk jel uh: kumpipa melmate lungtang ah a tal hi.
6Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever; a sceptre of uprightness is the sceptre of thy kingdom:
6Pathian aw, na laltutphah tuh khantawn in a om ding ahi: khentuam neihlouhna lalchiang tuh na gam lalchiang ahi.
7Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated wickedness; therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy companions.
7Diktatna na deiha, gilou-salou na hua hi, huaijiakin, Pathian, na Pathian in, na lawmte sangin nakpi in nuamna thau a honnilhta hi.
8Myrrh and aloes, cassia, are all thy garments; out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made thee glad.
8Na puansilh tengteng tuh murra gimte, aloe gimte, sing gimte a nam vungvung a; saiha a bawl kumpipa ina kaihging chi tuamtuam ging hongpawtten a honhihnuam ahi.
9Kings' daughters are among thine honourable women; upon thy right hand doth stand the queen in gold of Ophir.
9Na numei hoihte lakah kumpipate tanute a pang sam ua; na taklam ah Ophir dangkaenga kijemin kumpinu a ding hi.
10Hearken, daughter, and see, and incline thine ear; and forget thine own people and thy father's house:
10Ka tanu aw, ngaikhia inla, ngaihtuah inla, bildoh in; na mite leh na pa ina mite mangngilh in.
11And the king will desire thy beauty; for he is thy Lord, and worship thou him.
11Huchiin kumpipan na melhoin a deih ding hi, amah tuh i Toupa ahi ngala; huan amah chibai buk jelin.
12And the daughter of Tyre with a gift, the rich ones among the people, shall court thy favour.
12Tura tanu tuh thilpiak tawi in huaiah a om ding a; mi laka hausate ngeiin na hehpihna a ngen ding uhi.
13All glorious is the king's daughter within; her clothing is of wrought gold:
13Kumpipa insung a kumpipa tanu tuh a thupi zou hilhiala: a puansilh tuh dangkaenga zep kilawm ahi.
14She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of embroidery; the virgins behind her, her companions, shall be brought in unto thee:
14Puan khui kilawm silhin kumpipa kiangah a pi ding ua: amah jui a lawm nungakte tuh, na kiangah a pi ding uh.
15With joy and gladness shall they be brought; they shall enter into the king's palace.
15Kipak leh nuamin a pi ding ua: kumpipa in ah a lut ding uh.
16Instead of thy fathers shall be thy sons; princes shalt thou make them in all the earth.

17I will make thy name to be remembered throughout all generations; therefore shall the peoples praise thee for ever and ever.
17Na min tuh suan tengteng ah theih gige dingin ka bawl ding: huaijiakin michihin khantawn khantawnin kipahthu a honhilh ding uh.
