¹{A Psalm. Of Asaph.} ùGod, Elohim-Jehovah, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.

²Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined forth.

³Our God will come, and will not keep silence: fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

³I Pathian tuh a hong dinga, a dai nilouh kei ding: amah ma ah mei a kang juajua dinga, a kimah huihpi thupi a nung ding hi.

⁴He will call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people:

⁴A mite vai a hawm theihna ding intunglam vante leh lei a sam ding.

⁵Gather unto me my godly ones, those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice!

⁵Ka mi siangthoute ka kiangah honpi khawm unla, kithoiha thukhungte ngei, chiin.

⁶And the heavens shall declare his righteousness; for God executeth judgment himself. Selah.

⁶Huchiin, vanten a diktatna a tangkoupih ding ua, amah Pathian ngei tuh vaihawmpa ahi ngala. Selah.

⁷Hear, my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify unto thee: I am God, thy God.

⁷Ka mite aw, ngaikhia unla, thu ka gen ding hi; Israel aw, ngaikhia in, ka honhilhchian sak ding hi: kei Pathian, na Pathian ngeingei ka hi.

⁸I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices, or thy burnt-offerings, continually before me;

⁸Na kithoihnate jiakin ka hontai kei ding; na halmang thillatte ka maah a om gige ngala.

⁹I will take no bullock out of thy house, [nor] he-goats out of thy folds:

⁹Na in a kipan bawngtal himhim ka lakhe kei dinga, na ganhuang akipan keltalte leng ka la khe sam kei ding hi.

¹⁰For every beast of the forest is mine, the cattle upon a thousand hills;

¹⁰Gam nuaia sa chiteng kei a ahi ngala, tang sang khat tung a gan omte leng.

¹¹I know all the fowl of the mountains, and the roaming creatures of the field are mine:

¹¹Tanga vasa tengteng ka thei veka: gamsate leng keia ahi.

¹²If I were hungry, I would not tell thee; for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.

¹²Gilkial mahleng kon hilh kei ding: leilung leh a sunga thil om tengteng keia ahi ngala.

¹³Should I eat the flesh of bulls, and drink the blood of goats?

¹³Bawngtal sa ka nein kel sisan ka dawn dia hiam!

¹⁴Offer unto God thanksgiving, and perform thy vows unto the Most High;

¹⁴Pathian kiangah kipahthugen kithoihna tuh lan jaw inla; na thuchiam leng Tungnungpen lakah tangtun in.

¹⁵And call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

¹⁵Huan, mangbat ni in honsam lechin, kon humbit dinga, huan nang nonpahtawi ding hi, a chi a.

¹⁶But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant into thy mouth,

¹⁶Migilou-salou kiangah bel, Pathianin, Ka thuseh bangchidana na kama lou na hia!

¹⁷Seeing thou hast hated correction and hast cast my words behind thee?

¹⁷Thuhilhna na hua a, ka thute na nunglamah na pai jel ngala.

¹⁸When thou sawest a thief, thou didst take pleasure in him, and thy portion was with adulterers;

¹⁸Guta na muh in phaje na sakpih a, angkawmpate na koppih gige behlap hi.

¹⁹Thou lettest thy mouth loose to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit;

¹⁹Na kam tuh gilou kiangah na pia a. Na leiin khemna a bawl gige hi.

²⁰Thou sittest [and] speakest against thy brother, thou revilest thine own mother's son:

²⁰Tu kawmin na unau na kalha; nangmah nute tapa ngeingei na hek nak hi.

²¹These [things] hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether as thyself: [but] I will reprove thee, and set [them] in order before thine eyes.

²¹Huai thil tuh na hiha, himahleh ka dai nilouha; huchiin nangmah bang geihin non gingta hi: himahleh ka hon taia, na mitmuhin kizom jelin ka hihlang ding hi.

²²Now consider this, ye that forget +God, lest I tear in pieces, and there be no deliverer.

²³Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me; and to him that ordereth [his] way will I shew the salvation of God.
