¹In thee, Jehovah, do I trust: let me never be ashamed.

²Deliver me in thy righteousness, and rescue me; incline thine ear unto me, and save me.

²Na diktatna vangin honhumbitin, honhonkhia inla: kei lamah na bil hondohin, honhondam in.

³Be to me a rock of habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.

³Kei dingin omna suangpi, ka hohtheih gigena ding, hong hiin: nang honhondam dingin thu na pia a; ka suangpi leh ka kulhpi na hi ngala.

⁴My God, rescue me out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.

⁴Ka Pathian aw, mi gilou- salou khut akipan honhonkhia in, mi diktatlou leh nunsia khut akipan.

⁵For thou art my hope, O Lord Jehovah, my confidence from my youth.

⁶On thee have I been stayed from the womb; from the bowels of my mother thou didst draw me forth: my praise shall be continually of thee.

⁶Ka nu gil akipan him in nangmah kaihin ka om jela: ka nu sung akipan honlakhepa na hi: nangmah ahi, ka honphat gige ding.

⁷I have been as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.

⁷Mitampi theihin thillamdang kahi a; himahleh nang ka kihumbitna kiptak na hi.

⁸My mouth shall be filled with thy praise, with thy glory, all the day.

⁸Ka kam nang phatna in a dim ding, nitumin na pahtawinain a dim ding hi.

⁹Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.

⁹Ka tek chiangin honpaikhe kenla, ka tha a jawt chiangin hon paisan ken.

¹⁰For mine enemies speak against me, and they that watch for my soul consult together,

¹⁰Ka melmaten ka tungtangthu a gen ngal ua; ka hinna tangte leng a kikou uhi.

¹¹Saying, God hath forsaken him; pursue and seize him, for there is none to deliver.

¹¹Pathianin a paisanta: delh unla, man un; humbitpa ding himhim a om ngal keia chiin.

¹²O God, be not far from me; my God, hasten to my help.

¹²Pathian aw, hon gamlat mahmah ken: ka Pathian aw, honpanpih dingin kin in.

¹³Let them be ashamed, let them be consumed, that are adversaries to my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonour that seek my hurt.

¹⁴But as for me, I will hope continually, and will praise thee yet more and more.

¹⁵My mouth shall declare thy righteousness, [and] thy salvation all the day: for I know not the numbers [thereof].

¹⁶I will go in the might of the Lord Jehovah; I will recall thy righteousness, thine alone.

¹⁷O God, thou hast taught me from my youth, and hitherto have I proclaimed thy marvellous works:

¹⁷Pathian aw, ka naupan chik akipan nang non hilha; tu tanin na thillamdang hihte ka theisak gige hi.

¹⁸Now also, when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not, until I have proclaimed thine arm unto [this] generation, thy might to every one that is to come.

¹⁸A hi, Pathian aw, ka teka ka sam a kan hun inleng hon paisan mahmah ken; na hatna tuh khangthak nawnte kiangah leh, na thilhihtheihna hongom lai dingte kianga ka theihsak mateng.

¹⁹And thy righteousness, O God, reacheth on high, thou who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee?

¹⁹Pathian aw, na diktatna leng a sang mahmah ahi; Pathian aw, nang thil thupitakte hihpa, nangmah bang kua a om?

²⁰Thou, who hast shewn us many and sore troubles, wilt revive us again, and wilt bring us up again from the depths of the earth;

²⁰Nang, buaina tampi leh thupitak honmusakpan non hingsak nawn dinga, lei thukpi akipan non pi khe nawn ding hi.

²¹Thou wilt increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.

²¹Nang ka thupina honhihkhangsak inla, hongkihei nawn inla, hon khamuan in.

²²I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, my God; unto thee will I sing psalms with the harp, thou holy One of Israel.

²²Pekgingin leng ka hon phat dinga, ka Pathian aw, na thutak ngei ka phat ding. Nang Israelte Mi Siangthou aw, kaihging toh nangmah phatin la ka sa ding hi.

²³My lips shall exult when I sing psalms unto thee; and my soul, which thou hast redeemed.

²³Nangmah phata la ka sak chiangin ka muk a nuam mahmah dinga; ka hinna na tat mah leng a nuam mahmah ding hi.Ka leiin leng nitumin na diktatna thu a gen ding; ka siatna ding zongte a zahlak un a zumta ngal ua.

²⁴My tongue also shall talk of thy righteousness all the day; for they shall be ashamed, for they shall be brought to confusion, that seek my hurt.
