Psalms

74

1{An instruction: of Asaph.} Why, O God, hast thou cast off for ever? [why] doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?
1Pathian aw, bangdinga honpai mang den ding na hia oi? Bangdinga na gantatna muna belamte tunga na hehna a khut?
2Remember thine assembly, which thou hast purchased of old, which thou hast redeemed [to be] the portion of thine inheritance, this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.
2Na mite kikhawmte, nidang laia na lei, nam na gou dinga na tat, thei gige in; na omna nak Zion tang toh.
3Lift up thy steps unto the perpetual desolations: everything in the sanctuary hath the enemy destroyed.
3Khantawn siatna lamah na khe khaiin, melmaten mun siangthou ah thil gilou chiteng a hihta uhi.
4Thine adversaries roar in the midst of thy place of assembly; they set up their signs [for] signs.
4Nangmah doute na mite kikhawmte lakah a awng juajua ua; achiamnate uh chiamtehna dingin a takta uhi.
5[A man] was known as he could lift up axes in the thicket of trees;
5Mi singbawk heipi a ngimte bangin a kimu ua.
6And now they break down its carved work altogether, with hatchets and hammers.
6Tunah a thil- khuak kilawm tengteng uh heita leh sekin a hihse chiat uhi.
7They have set on fire thy sanctuary, they have profaned the habitation of thy name to the ground.
7Na mun siangthou a hal ua; na min omna leia tum khop hialin a hihbuahta uhi.
8They said in their heart, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all ùGod's places of assembly in the land.
8A lungsim un, A vekin i hihse ding, a chi ua: hiai gama Pathian kikhopna in tengteng a halse khinta uhi.
9We see not our signs; there is no more any prophet, neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.
9I kichiamtehnate uh i muta kei ua: jawlnei himhim a omta kei uhi; a sawt dingdan thei himhim i lak uah leng a om kei hi.
10How long, O God, shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy contemn thy name for ever?
10Pathian aw, melmain bangtan ahia hon gensiat ding? Galin na min khantawnin a gense dia hia?
11Why withdrawest thou thy hand, and thy right hand? [pluck it] out of thy bosom: consume [them].
11Bangdingin ahia, na khut, na khut taklam na lak tak? Pholh khe nawn inla, amaute hihmang in.
12But God is my king of old, accomplishing deliverances in the midst of the earth.
12Himahleh, Pathian tuh nidanglai tana ka Kumpipa ahi, lei lai taka hotdamna siampa pen.
13*Thou* didst divide the sea by thy strength; thou didst break the heads of the monsters on the waters:
13Nang na hatnain tuipi na kikhensaka nang tuia drakonte na kitamsak hi.
14*Thou* didst break in pieces the heads of leviathan, thou gavest him to be meat to those that people the desert.
14Nang tuh ole lute na jansaka, amah tuh gamdai mi omte kiangah an dingin na pia hi.
15*Thou* didst cleave fountain and torrent, *thou* driedst up ever-flowing rivers.
15Nang tuikhuk leh tuilian na khena; nang lui lian taktakte na kangsak hi.
16The day is thine, the night also is thine; *thou* hast prepared the moon and the sun:
16Sun nanga ahi a, jan leng nanga ahi. Nang khovak leh nisa na ngaihtuah hi.
17*Thou* hast set all the borders of the earth; summer and winter -- *thou* didst form them.
17Nang leitung gamgite tengteng na khung vek hi: nang nipi leh phalbi na siam ahi.
18Remember this, that an enemy hath reproached Jehovah, and a foolish people have contemned thy name.
18Toupa aw, hiai theigige in, melmain a hon gensiata; nam haipiin na min a gensiat.
19Give not up the soul of thy turtle-dove unto the wild beast; forget not the troop of thine afflicted for ever.
19Aw na vakhu hinna gam sahang kiangah pe mahmah kenla; na mi gentheite hinna khantawnin leng mangngilh sam ken.
20Have respect unto the covenant; for the dark places of the earth are full of the dwellings of violence.
20Thukhun tuh honkhawksa in: leimun mial tata hiamgamna omnain a dim ngala.
21Oh let not the oppressed one return ashamed; let the afflicted and needy praise thy name.
21Aw, nuaisiahna thuakte zahlakin kihei kei uhenla: genthei leh tagahten na min phat uhen.
22Rise up, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee all the day;
22Pathian aw, thou inla, nangmah thu tuh kigen tawm inla, mi haiin nitumin a hon gensiatdan theigigr in.Nangmah galte husa tuh mangngilh ken: a hon sualte chiak vengvung tuh a toupai gige ahi.
23Forget not the voice of thine adversaries: the tumult of those that rise up against thee ascendeth continually.
23Nangmah galte husa tuh mangngilh ken: a hon sualte chiak vengvung tuh a toupai gige ahi.
