9

1{To the chief Musician. Upon Muthlabben. A Psalm of David.} I will praise Jehovah with my whole heart; I will recount all thy marvellous works.
1TOUPA kiangah ka lungtang tengtengin kipahthu ka gen dinga; na thillamdang hih tengteng ka theisak ding hi;
2I will be glad and rejoice in thee; I will sing forth thy name, O Most High.
2Nangmah ah ka kipakin ka nuam ding a: nang Tungnungpen aw, na min phatin la ka sa ding hi.
3When mine enemies turned back, they stumbled and perished at thy presence:
3Hondoute a taijak tak un, na maah a kipalpuk ua, a mangthang uhi;
4For thou hast maintained my right and my cause. Thou sittest on the throne, judging righteously.
4Kei adia kilawm himahleh ka thu-ah nang kei na hon gum ngala; diktaka vaihawmin laltutphahah na tu a.
5Thou hast rebuked the nations, thou hast destroyed the wicked; thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.
5Nam chih na thihilha, gilou-saloute na hihmangthanga, a min uh leng khantawn khantawnin na thaimangta hi;
6O enemy! destructions are ended for ever. -- Thou hast also destroyed cities, even the remembrance of them hath perished.
6Doumite tuh a mangbang vek ua, khantawn adingin bangmah neilouin a omta uhi; na kho sukgamsate tuh, amaute theihgigena nangawn toh leng a mangthang hi.
7But Jehovah sitteth for ever; he hath ordained his throne for judgment.
7TOUPA bel khantawn adingin kumpipain a tu a; a laltutphah tuh vaihawmna dingin a bawlta hi;
8And it is he that will judge the world with righteousness; he shall execute judgment upon the peoples with equity.
8Aman tuh khovel kizen takin vai a hawmsak dinga, khentuam neilouin mi chih vai a hawm ding hi.
9And Jehovah will be a refuge to the oppressed one, a refuge in times of distress.
9Nuaisiahte din TOUPA thu bukna ahi lai ding, buai hun chianga bukna;
10And they that know thy name will confide in thee; for thou, Jehovah, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
10Huchiin na min theiten a honmuang ding ua; nang jaw TOUPA, nangmah honzongte na paisan ngei ngal keia.
11Sing psalms to Jehovah who dwelleth in Zion; tell among the peoples his doings.
11TOUPA, Zion a om phatin lasa unla; mite lakah a thil hihte hilh un;
12For when he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them; the cry of the afflicted ones hath he not forgotten.
12Sisan suah thu dongtel jelpan amau lah a theigige ngala; migenthei kikou aw a mangngilh ngeikei hi.
13Be gracious unto me, O Jehovah; consider mine affliction from them that hate me, lifting me up from the gates of death:
13TOUPA aw, honhehpih inla; sihna kongkhak akipan honkaikhe jelpa, honhote jiaka ka mangbatna enin;
14That I may declare all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion. I will be joyful in thy salvation.
14Nangmah phatna tengteng ka theih sak theihna dingin: Zion tanu kongpi khawng ah, na honhotdamna ah ka nuam ding hi.
15The nations are sunk down in the pit [that] they made; in the net that they hid is their own foot taken.
15Nam chih tuh a kokhuk bawl uah a tum ua; a guka a len jak uah amau khe mah a awkta hi.
16Jehovah is known [by] the judgment he hath executed: the wicked is ensnared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.
16TOUPA tuh a kihilta a, vai a hawmta a: mi gilou-salou tuh amah khutsuak mah ah a awk nak hi. Higgaion. Selah.
17The wicked shall be turned into Sheol, all the nations that forget God.
17Mi gilou-saloute tuh Sheol ah a kik nawn ding uh. Nam chih Pathian manggilh hatte tengteng tuh;
18For the needy one shall not be forgotten alway; the hope of the meek shall not perish for ever.
18Tagahte mangngilhin a om nilouh louh kei ding ua, gentheite lametna tuh khantawnin leng a mang sam kei ding hi.
19Arise, Jehovah; let not man prevail: let the nations be judged in thy sight.

20Put them in fear, Jehovah: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.
20TOUPA aw, amau lau sakin; nam chihin mihing lel ahi uh chih kithei uhen. Selah.
