1And he spoke also a parable to them to the purport that they should always pray and not faint,
1O Jesus mai phendia lenge ek paramichi, te sikavel ke trobul sa data te rhugis tu, ai na aterdios;
2saying, There was a judge in a city, not fearing God and not respecting man:
2phenelas, "Sas andek foro iek ablakato, kai chi daralas katar O Del, ai vi chi respektisardia le manushen.
3and there was a widow in that city, and she came to him, saying, Avenge me of mine adverse party.
3Ai sas ek phivli ande kudo foro; woi avelas leste, phenelas, "Ker mange kris pek manush kai rodel mange nasul."
4And he would not for a time; but afterwards he said within himself, If even I fear not God and respect not man,
4Ai but vriama chi manglia te kerel lake so mangelas, numa antunchi phendia wo ande peste, "Chi darav katar O Del, ai chi respektiv le manush.
5at any rate because this widow annoys me I will avenge her, that she may not by perpetually coming completely harass me.
6And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge says.
6O Devla mai phendia, "Ashunen so phendia o chorho ablakato.
7And shall not God at all avenge his elect, who cry to him day and night, and he bears long as to them?
7O Del sar te na kerel vorta peske manushenge kai mangenas lestar kuriat ai kujes? Azhukerel lungo vriama te zhutil le?
8I say unto you that he will avenge them speedily. But when the Son of man comes, shall he indeed find faith on the earth?
8Phenav tumenge, kerela lenge sigo kris, numa kana O Shav le Manushesko avela, arakhela pachamos pe phuv?"
9And he spoke also to some, who trusted in themselves that they were righteous and made nothing of all the rest [of men], this parable:
9O Jesus phendia kacha paramichi pal manush kai pachanpe ande pende, ai vurhitsisardia sa le kolaver.
10Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a tax-gatherer.
10"Dui manush gele ande tamplo te rhuginpe; iek sas Farisi, ai o kaver sas manush kai chidelas e taksa.
11The Pharisee, standing, prayed thus to himself: God, I thank thee that I am not as the rest of men, rapacious, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax-gatherer.
11O Farisi ande punrhende rhugilaspe ande peste, "O Devla, naisiv tuke, ke chi sim sar le kolaver manush, kai si chor, nai chacho, kai keren kurvia, ai vi sar o manush kai chidelas e taksa.
12I fast twice in the week, I tithe everything I gain.
12Postiv duvar ando kurko, dav desh anda ek shel partia."
13And the tax-gatherer, standing afar off, would not lift up even his eyes to heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, O God, have compassion on me, the sinner.
13O manush kai chidelas e taksa, beshelas mai dur, chi tromalas te vazdel le iakha karing o cheri, numa marelaspe ande kolin, ai phendia, "O Devla te avel tuke mila anda mande kai sim bezexalo."
14I say unto you, This [man] went down to his house justified rather than that [other]. For every one who exalts himself shall be humbled, and he that humbles himself shall be exalted.
14Phenav tumenge, "Kado manush gelo peste khere iertime mai sigo ke sar o kolaver; ke kon godi vazdelape avela meklo tele; ai kodo kai mekelape tele avela vazdino."
15And they brought to him also infants that he might touch them, but the disciples when they saw [it] rebuked them.
15Andine ka Jesus le tsinorhe glaten, te thol peske vas pe lende; numa kana le disipluria dikhle, dine le trad.
16But Jesus calling them to [him] said, Suffer little children to come to me, and do not forbid them, for of such is the kingdom of God.
17Verily I say to you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.
17Phenav tumenge o chachimos, kako kai chi primila e amperetsia le Devleski sar ek glata nashti zhala andre."
18And a certain ruler asked him saying, Good teacher, having done what, shall I inherit eternal life?
18Iek manush la Krisako phushlia le Jesusos, "Lasho Gazda, so trobul te kerav te avel ma traio kai chi mai getol pe?"
19But Jesus said to him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, God.
19O Jesus phendia leske, "Sostar mothos mange lasho? Ke nai khonik lasho. O Del ferdi lasho."
20Thou knowest the commandments: Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.
21And he said, All these things have I kept from my youth.
21O manush phendia, "Sa kadala zakonuria ankerdem de sar sim tsinorho."
22And when Jesus had heard this, he said to him, One thing is lacking to thee yet: Sell all that thou hast and distribute to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in the heavens, and come, follow me.
22Kana O Jesus ashundia kodia, phendia leske, "Mai trobul te keres iek diela. Bichin sa so si tu, ai de kal chorhe, ai avela tu manjin ando rhaio; antunchi aidi pala mande."
23But when he heard this he became very sorrowful, for he was very rich.
23Kana kodo manush ashundia kodia, nekezhisailo; ke defial barvalo sas.
24But when Jesus saw that he became very sorrowful, he said, How difficultly shall those who have riches enter into the kingdom of God;
25for it is easier for a camel to enter through a needle's eye than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
25Ke mai vushoro te nakhel iek gemula andai iakh la suviaki, de sar iek barvalo manush te zhal ande amperetsia le Devleski.
26And those who heard it said, And who can be saved?
26Le manush kai ashunenas leste phende, "Apo, kon sai avela skepime?"
27But he said, The things that are impossible with men are possible with God.
27O Jesus phendia, "Le manush anda pende nashtin, numa le Devlesa vari so sai kerdiol."
28And Peter said, Behold, *we* have left all things and have followed thee.
28Antunchi o Petri phendia, "Dikh! Ame mekliam swako fielo ai liam ame pala tute." O Jesus phendia lenge,
29And he said to them, Verily I say to you, There is no one who has left home, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake,
30who shall not receive manifold more at this time, and in the coming age life eternal.
31And he took the twelve to [him] and said to them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written of the Son of man by the prophets shall be accomplished;
31Antunchi O Jesus lia le desh u do disiplon rigate, ai phendia lenge, "Ashun, ame zhas ando Jerusalem, ai so godi sas ramome katar le profeturia pa Shav le Manushesko kerdiola.
32for he shall be delivered up to the nations, and shall be mocked, and insulted, and spit upon.
33And when they have scourged [him] they will kill him; and on the third day he will rise again.
33ai o trito dies si te zhuvindil."
34And they understood nothing of these things. And this word was hidden from them, and they did not know what was said.
34Numa le disipluria chi haliarde so phendia lenge; ai kadala vorbi garadesas lendar, won chi haliarenas sar divinilas O Jesus.
35And it came to pass when he came into the neighbourhood of Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the wayside begging.
35Kana O Jesus pasholas pasha Jericho, iek korho beshelas tele pasha drom, ai mangelas kristaradia:
36And when he heard the crowd passing, he inquired what this might be.
36Kai ashundia le manushen sar nakhen, phushelas, "So si?"
37And they told him that Jesus the Nazaraean was passing by.
37Phende leske, O Jesus anda Nazareth nakhel katsar.
38And he called out saying, Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me.
38Numa wo tsipisardia, phenelas, "Jesus, tu Shav le Davidosko! Av tuke mila anda mande!"
39And those [who were] going before rebuked him that he might be silent; but *he* cried out so much the more, Son of David, have mercy on me.
39Le manush kai sas anglal tsipinas pe leste te ashel, numa wo tsipilas mai zurales, "Tu Shav le Davidosko! Av tuke mila anda mande."
40And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be led to him. And when he drew nigh he asked him [saying],
40O Jesus aterdilo, ai phendia o korho te anen leste; ai kana andine les, phushlia les, phenelas,
41What wilt thou that I shall do to thee? And he said, Lord, that I may see.
41"So manges te kerav tuke?" Wo phendia, "Devla, Phuter murhe iakha te dikhav."
42And Jesus said to him, See: thy faith has healed thee.
42O Jesus phendia leske, "Antunchi dikhes! Cho pachamos sastiardian tu."
43And immediately he saw, and followed him, glorifying God. And all the people when they saw [it] gave praise to God.
43Ai strazo dikhlia, ai liape pala Jesus, ai luvudilaspe ka Del; ai sa o narodo kana dikhle so kerdilia luvudinaspa ka Del.
