2Let Israel rejoice in his Maker; let the sons of Zion be joyful in their King.
2Nech sa raduje Izrael v tom, ktorý ho učinil! Synovia Siona nech plesajú vo svojom Kráľovi!
3Let them praise his name in the dance; let them sing psalms unto him with the tambour and harp.
3Nech chvália jeho meno kolotancom! Pri bubne a pri citare nech mu spievajú žalmy!
4For Jehovah taketh pleasure in his people; he beautifieth the meek with salvation.
4Lebo Hospodin má záľubu vo svojom ľude; zdobí pokorných spasením.
5Let the godly exult in glory; let them shout for joy upon their beds.
5Svätí sa budú veseliť v sláve; plesať budú na svojich ležištiach.
6Let the high praises of ùGod be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand:
6Vyvyšovanie silného Boha bude v ich hrdle a meč, ostrý na obe strany, v ich ruke,
7To execute vengeance against the nations, [and] punishment among the peoples;
7aby vykonali pomstu na národoch a tresty na ľuďoch,
8To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
8aby poviazali ich kráľov reťazami a ich veľmožov železnými putami,
9To execute upon them the judgment written. This honour have all his saints. Hallelujah!
