¹{A Psalm of David.} Jehovah, who shall sojourn in thy tent? who shall dwell in the hill of thy holiness?

¹Žalm Dávidov. Hospodine, kto bude pohostíniť v tvojom stáne? Kto bude bývať na vrchu tvojej svätosti?

²He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth from his heart.

²Ten, kto chodí bezúhonne, činí spravedlivosť a hovorí pravdu svojím srdcom;

³[He that] slandereth not with his tongue, doeth not evil to his companion, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour;

³kto neohovára svojím jazykom, neučiní svojmu priateľovi zlého a na svojho blížneho nevznesie potupy;

⁴In whose eyes the depraved person is contemned, and who honoureth them that fear Jehovah; who, if he have sworn to his own hurt, changeth it not;

⁴v ktorého očiach nemá cti zavrhnutý, ale tých, ktorí sa boja Hospodina, ctí; kto, keď prisahal, čo i na svoje zlé, nezmení;

⁵[He that] putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these [things] shall never be moved.

⁵kto nedáva svojich peňazí na úžeru a proti nevinnému nevezme úplatného daru. Ten, kto to činí, nepohne sa na veky.
