¹{[A Psalm] of David.} Judge me, O Jehovah, for I have walked in mine integrity, and I have confided in Jehovah: I shall not slip.

¹Žalm Dávidov. Súď ma, Hospodine, lebo ja chodím vo svojej bezúhonnosti a nadejem sa na Hospodina; nepohnem sa.

²Prove me, Jehovah, and test me; try my reins and my heart:

²Zkús ma, Hospodine, a sprobuj. Prepáľ na zkúšku moje ľadviny aj moje srdce;

³For thy loving-kindness is before mine eyes, and I have walked in thy truth.

³lebo tvoja milosť je pred mojimi očima, a chodím v tvojej pravde.

⁴I have not sat with vain persons, neither have I gone in with dissemblers;

⁴Nesedávam s muži márnosti a nevchádzam do rady s pokrytcami.

⁵I have hated the congregation of evil-doers, and I have not sat with the wicked.

⁵Nenávidím shromaždenia zlostníkov a nesadnem s bezbožníkmi.

⁶I will wash my hands in innocency, and will encompass thine altar, O Jehovah,

⁶Umývam svoje ruky v nevine a rád chodím okolo tvojho oltára, Hospodine,

⁷That I may cause the voice of thanksgiving to be heard, and declare all thy marvellous works.

⁷aby som ťa hlasne chválil a rozprával všetky tvoje divy.

⁸Jehovah, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thy glory dwelleth.

⁸Hospodine, milujem obydlie tvojho domu a miesto príbytku tvojej slávy.

⁹Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with men of blood;

⁹Nezahrňuj v záhubu mojej duše s hriešnikmi a môjho života s mužmi krvi,

¹⁰In whose hands are evil devices, and their right hand is full of bribes.

¹⁰v ktorých rukách je mrzkosť, a ktorých pravica je plná úplatku.

¹¹But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity. Redeem me, and be gracious unto me.

¹¹Ale ja budem chodiť vo svojej bezúhonnosti. Vykúp ma a zmiluj sa nado mnou!

¹²My foot standeth in an even place; in the congregations will I bless Jehovah.

¹²Moja noha stojí na rovine. V shromaždeniach budem dobrorečiť Hospodinovi!
