1Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation; deliver me from the deceitful and unrighteous man.
1Súď ma, ó, Bože, a rozrieš moju pru! Vysloboď ma od nemilosrdného národa, od človeka, ľstivého a nepravého!
2For thou art the God of my strength: why hast thou cast me off? why go I about mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
2Lebo ty si Bôh mojej sily. Prečo si ma odvrhol? Prečo musím chodiť smutný pre útisk nepriateľa?
3Send out thy light and thy truth: *they* shall lead me, *they* shall bring me to thy holy mount, and unto thy habitations.
3Sošli svoje svetlo a svoju pravdu, to nech ma vedie a dovedie na vrch tvojej svätosti a do tvojich príbytkov,
4Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto the ùGod of the gladness of my joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God, my God.
4aby som pristúpil k oltáru Božiemu, k silnému Bohu radosti, môjho plesania, a budem ťa chváliť na harfe, ó, Bože, môj Bože!
5Why art thou cast down, my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God; for I shall yet praise him, [who is] the health of my countenance, and my God.
5Prečo si smutná, moja duša, a prečo sa nepokojíš vo mne? Čakaj na Boha, lebo ho ešte budem chváliť, rôzne spasenie svojej tvári a svojho Boha.
