3Though the waters thereof roar [and] foam, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
3Preto sa nebudeme báť, ani keby zem uhla so svojho miesta, a keby sa hneď aj vrchy pohybovaly a rútily sa doprostred mora.
4There is a river the streams whereof make glad the city of God, the sanctuary of the habitations of the Most High.
4Nech hučia a penia sa jeho vody; nech sa trasú vrchy od jeho veleby! Sélah.
5God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her at the dawn of the morning.
5Rieka, jej potoky obveseľujú mesto Božie, svätyňu príbytkov Najvyššieho.
6The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
6Bôh je v jeho strede, nepohne sa. Bôh mu pomôže nad ránom.
7Jehovah of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our high fortress. Selah.
7Búria sa národy? Klátia sa kráľovstvá? Vydá svoj hlas, a hneď sa rozplýva zem.
8Come, behold the works of Jehovah, what desolations he hath made in the earth:
8Hospodin Zástupov je s nami; pevnou vežou vysokou nám je Bôh Jakobov. Sélah.
9He hath made wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariots in the fire.
9Poďte, vidzte skutky Hospodinove, jakých pustín narobil na zemi!
10Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
10Činí vojnám prietrž až po koniec zeme; láme lučište a seče kopiju; vozy páli ohňom
