2As long as I live will I praise Jehovah; I will sing psalms unto my God while I have my being.

3Put not confidence in nobles, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation.
3Regai kuvimba namachinda, Kana noMwanakomana womunhu, asingagoni kubatsira.
4His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his purposes perish.
4Mweya wake unobuda, iye ndokudzokera pasi pake; Nezuva iro mano ake anopera.
5Blessed is he who hath the ùGod of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Jehovah his God,
5Anomufaro munhu uyo kana Mwari waJakove ari mubatsiri wake, Anotarira kuna Jehovha Mwari wake.
6Who made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is therein; who keepeth truth for ever;
6Iye, akaita kudenga napasi, Negungwa, nezvose zviri mukati mazvo; Iye, anoramba akatendeka nokusingaperi;
7Who executeth judgment for the oppressed, who giveth bread to the hungry. Jehovah looseth the prisoners;
7Anoruramisira vanomanikidzwa; Anopa vane nzara zvokudya; Jehovha anosunungura vasungwa;
8Jehovah openeth [the eyes of] the blind; Jehovah raiseth up them that are bowed down; Jehovah loveth the righteous;
8Jehovha anosvinudza meso amapofu; Jehovha anosimudza vakakotamiswa pasi; Jehovha anoda vakarurama;
9Jehovah preserveth the strangers; he lifteth up the fatherless and the widow; but the way of the wicked doth he subvert.
9Jehovha anochengeta vatorwa; Jehovha anotsigira nherera nechirikadzi; Asi nzira yavakaipa anoipesanisa.
10Jehovah will reign for ever, [even] thy God, O Zion, from generation to generation. Halleluiah!
10Jehovha achabata ushe nokusingaperi, Mwari wako, iwe Ziyoni, kusvikira kumarudzi namarudzi. Hareruya!
