⁴He counteth the number of the stars; he giveth names to them all.

⁵Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

⁶Jehovah lifteth up the meek; he abaseth the wicked to the earth.

⁶Jehovha anobatsira vanyoro;

⁷Sing unto Jehovah with thanksgiving; sing psalms upon the harp unto our God:

⁷Imbirai Jehovha muchimuvonga, Imbirai Mwari wedu nziyo dzokurumbidza nembira;

⁸Who covereth the heavens with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains;

⁸Iye anofukidza denga namakore, Anogadzirira pasi mvura, Anomeresa uswa pamakomo.

⁹Who giveth to the cattle their food, to the young ravens which cry.

⁹Anopa zvipfuwo zvokudya zvazvo, Navana vamakunguvo, anochema.

¹⁰He delighteth not in the strength of the horse, he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man;

¹⁰Haafadzwi nesimba rebhiza; Haafariri makumbo omurume.

¹¹Jehovah taketh pleasure in those that fear him, in those that hope in his loving-kindness.

¹¹Jehovha anofara navanomutya, Navanotarira tsitsi dzake.

¹²Laud Jehovah, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.

¹²Rumbidza Jehovha, iwe Jerusaremu; Rumbidza Mwari wako, iwe Ziyoni.

¹³For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee;

¹³nekuti wakasimbisa mazariro amasuwo ako; Akaropafadza vana vako mukati mako.

¹⁴He maketh peace in thy borders; he satisfieth thee with the finest of the wheat.

¹⁴Anoisa rugare panyika yako; Anokugutisa nezviyo zvakaisvonaka.

¹⁵He sendeth forth his oracles to the earth: his word runneth very swiftly.

¹⁵Anotuma mirairo yake panyika; Shoko rake rinomhanya kwazvo.

¹⁶He giveth snow like wool, scattereth the hoar frost like ashes;

¹⁶Anopa vanhu chando samakushe amakwai, anoparadzira chando samadota.

¹⁷He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?

¹⁷Anokanda chimvuramabwe chake sezvimedu; Ndianiko angamira pachando chake?

¹⁸He sendeth his word, and melteth them; he causeth his wind to blow -- the waters flow.

¹⁸Anotuma shoko rake, ndokuzvinyausa; Anovhuvhutisa mhepo yake mvura ndokuyerera.

¹⁹He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.

¹⁹Anozivisa Jakove shoko rake, Nalsiraeri mitemo yake nezvaakatonga.

²⁰He hath not dealt thus with any nation; and as for [his] judgments, they have not known them. Hallelujah!
