1Let a man so account of us as servants of Christ, and stewards of [the] mysteries of God.
1 Iri mo, kal i m'iri lasaabu Almasihu goy-teeriyaŋ, da Irikoy gundu jine funeyaŋ.
2Here, further, it is sought in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
2 A binde, haŋ kaŋ i ga ceeci jine funa gaa ga ti i ma bora gar da naanay.
3But for me it is the very smallest matter that I be examined of you or of man's day. Nor do I even examine myself.
3 Amma ay wo, manti hay fo no ay do araŋ m'ay gosi, wala i ma kond'ay alkaali kwaara. Oho, ay si baa ay boŋ gosi.
4For I am conscious of nothing in myself; but I am not justified by this: but he that examines me is the Lord.
4 Zama ay mana taali kulu bay ay boŋ gaa, amma woodin kulu s'ay hanandi. Amma ay neesikwa ga ti Rabbi.
5So that do not judge anything before [the] time, until the Lord shall come, who shall also both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and shall make manifest the counsels of hearts; and then shall each have [his] praise from God.
5 Woodin sabbay se, wa si Almasihu goy-teerey ciiti za alwaato mana to. Wa naŋ hala Rabbi ma kaa. Nga no ga kubay ra hari tugantey kaa taray kwaaray, ka bine miila lasaabey bangandi mo. Waato din boro kulu ga du nga saabuyaŋo Irikoy do.
6Now these things, brethren, I have transferred, in their application, to myself and Apollos, for your sakes, that ye may learn in us the [lesson of] not [letting your thoughts go] above what is written, that ye may not be puffed up one for [such a] one against another.
6 Hayey din, nya-izey, ay n'i himandi misa ay boŋ gaa da Abolos gaa mo araŋ sabbay se, hal araŋ ma dondon iri do haŋ kaŋ ga naŋ araŋ ma si daaru haŋ kaŋ i hantum gaa. Zama araŋ boro fo kulu mo ma si te boŋbeeray ka baar'a-baar'a te.
7For who makes thee to differ? and what hast thou which thou hast not received? but if also thou hast received, why boastest thou as not receiving?
7 Zama may no k'araŋ beerandi ka bisa care? Ifo no ni se mo kaŋ manti nooyaŋ no? Za kaŋ Irikoy no ka ni no nd'a, ifo se no ni goono ga fooma, danga manti nooyaŋ no?
8Already ye are filled; already ye have been enriched; ye have reigned without us; and I would that ye reigned, that *we* also might reign with you.
8 Baa sohõ araŋ wo to, araŋ te arzakanteyaŋ, araŋ na koytaray ŋwa kaŋ iri baa si a ra! Ay ga ba haciika araŋ ma koytaray ŋwa, hal iri mo m'a ŋwa araŋ banda.
9For I think that God has set us the apostles for the last, as appointed to death. For we have become a spectacle to the world, both to angels and men.
9 Zama a ga hima ay se kaŋ Irikoy na iri, kaŋ ga ti diyey daŋ kokor banda, danga borey kaŋ i na buuyaŋ ciiti dumbu i boŋ. Zama i n'iri ciya gomdo hari ndunnya borey da malaykey* se.
10*We* [are] fools for Christ's sake, but *ye* prudent in Christ: *we* weak, but *ye* strong: *ye* glorious, but *we* in dishonour.
10 Iri wo saamoyaŋ no Almasihu sabbay se, amma araŋ ciya laakalkooniyaŋ Almasihu ra! Iri wo londibuunoyaŋ no, amma araŋ ciya gaabikooniyaŋ! A go, araŋ du darza, amma iri wo kaynandiyaŋ!
11To the present hour we both hunger and thirst, and are in nakedness, and buffeted, and wander without a home,
11 Hala sohõ alwaati woone ra iri go ga maa haray, iri go ga maa jaw, iri go ga jaŋ bankaaray, i go g'iri kutubo, iri sinda iri boŋ fu.
12and labour, working with our own hands. Railed at, we bless; persecuted, we suffer [it];
12 Iri go ga goy gumo nda iri kambey. I go g'iri wow, amma iri go ga albarka gaara. I go g'iri gurzugandi, amma iri go ga suuru.
13insulted, we entreat: we are become as [the] offscouring of the world, [the] refuse of all, until now.
13 I go g'iri jance, iri go ga baani sanni te. I go g'iri ciya danga ndunnya ziibi, fisi kulu dumi, hala hõ.
14Not [as] chiding do I write these things to you, but as my beloved children I admonish [you].
14 Ay mana woodin hantum araŋ se zama ay m'araŋ haawandi bo, amma ay ma kaseeti araŋ gaa danga ay izeyaŋ kaŋ ay ga ba cine.
15For if ye should have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet not many fathers; for in Christ Jesus *I* have begotten you through the glad tidings.
15 Baa araŋ du dondonandiko zambar way Almasihu ra, kulu nda yaadin araŋ sinda baaba boobo, zama ay no k'araŋ hay Almasihu Yesu ra Baaru Hanna do.
16I entreat you therefore, be my imitators.
16 Woodin sabbay se binde ay g'araŋ ŋwaaray araŋ ma ciya ay dondonkoyaŋ.
17For this reason I have sent to you Timotheus, who is my beloved and faithful child in [the] Lord, who shall put you in mind of my ways [as] they [are] in Christ, according as I teach everywhere in every assembly.
17 Woodin se no ay na Timotiyos donton araŋ do, nga kaŋ ciya ay se ize kaŋ ay ga ba Rabbi ra, naanaykoy mo no. A g'araŋ fongandi d'ay teerey Almasihu Yesu ganayaŋ ra, mate kaŋ cine ay go g'i dondonandi nangu kulu Almasihu* marga kulu ra.
18But some have been puffed up, as if I were not coming to you;
18 Araŋ boro fooyaŋ te boŋbeeray danga day ay si ye ka kaa araŋ do.
19but I will come quickly to you, if the Lord will; and I will know, not the word of those that are puffed up, but the power.
19 Amma da Rabbi yadda, ay ga kaa araŋ do d'a tonton kayna. Waato din gaa no, ay ga bay boŋbeeray koyey gaa, manti i sanney hinne bo, amma hala nd'i dabarey.
20For the kingdom of God [is] not in word, but in power.
20 Zama Irikoy koytara, manti nda sanni no bo, amma dabari no.
21What will ye? that I come to you with a rod; or in love, and [in] a spirit of meekness?
21 Ifo no araŋ ga ba? Ay ma kaa araŋ do da goobu, wala ya kaa baakasinay da lalabay biya ra no?
