1It is universally reported [that there is] fornication among you, and such fornication as [is] not even among the nations, so that one should have his father's wife.
1 I go g'araŋ baaru dede kaŋ zina go araŋ game ra. Zina woone dumi i s'a gar baa dumi* cindey game ra, hal araŋ boro fo gonda nga baaba wande.
2And *ye* are puffed up, and ye have not rather mourned, in order that he that has done this deed might be taken away out of the midst of you.
2 Araŋ te boŋbeeray mo! Araŋ mana te bine saray, hala bora din kaŋ na woodin te, araŋ m'a kaa araŋ game ra.
3For *I*, [as] absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged as present,
3 Zama haciika ay wo, baa kaŋ ay si noodin gaahamo ra, kulu nda yaadin ay go araŋ do biya ra. Ay jin ka ciiti mo bora kaŋ na goyo din te se, danga day ay go noodin no.
4[to deliver,] in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (ye and my spirit being gathered together, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ), him that has so wrought this:
4 D'araŋ margu, ay biya mo go araŋ banda, d'iri Rabbi Yesu dabaro mo. Rabbi Yesu maa ra
5to deliver him, [I say,] [being] such, to Satan for destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
5 araŋ ma boro wo dumi daŋ Saytan* kambe ra a gaahamo halaciyaŋ se, hal a biya ma du faaba Rabbi zaaro ra.
6Your boasting [is] not good. Do ye not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?
6 Araŋ fooma wo si boori! Araŋ mana bay kaŋ dalbu kayna no ga motta kulu fuurandi?
7Purge out the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, according as ye are unleavened. For also our passover, Christ, has been sacrificed;
7 Araŋ ma dalbu zeena kaa, hal araŋ ma bara motto taji, kaŋ sinda dalbu, mate kaŋ araŋ go nda cimi. Zama Irikoy n'iri Paska* feejo, kaŋ ga ti Almasihu, sarga* iri se.
8so that let us celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with leaven of malice and wickedness, but with unleavened [bread] of sincerity and truth.
8 Yaadin gaa, iri m'iri bato* te, manti nda dalbu zeeno, wala nda zamba nda laala wane bo, amma iri m'a te da buuru kaŋ sinda dalbu, ihanno nda cimi wane.
9I have written to you in the epistle not to mix with fornicators;
9 Tira fo ra ay hantum araŋ se ka ne araŋ ma si hangasinay da zina-teerey.
10not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the avaricious and rapacious, or idolaters, since [then] ye should go out of the world.
10 Ay si ndunnya ganako zina-teerey gaa, wala binikomey, wala komkoy, wala tooru ganakoy, zama nda yaadin no, a ga tilas araŋ ma fun ndunnya ra.
11But now I have written to you, if any one called brother be fornicator, or avaricious, or idolater, or abusive, or a drunkard, or rapacious, not to mix with [him]; with such a one not even to eat.
11 Amma sohõ ay go ga hantum araŋ se ka ne araŋ ma si hangasinay da boro fo kaŋ i ga ne a se nya-ize, da bora din ya zina-teeri no, wala binikom, wala tooru ganako, wala wowko, wala baji-haŋ-ka-buguko, wala komko. Araŋ ma si baa ŋwa da bora din koy.
12For what have *I* [to do] with judging those outside also? *ye*, do not ye judge them that are within?
12 Wala ay muraadu no ay ma ciiti borey kaŋ yaŋ go taray se? Manti araŋ Almasihu marga borey no ga care ciiti bo?
13But those without God judges. Remove the wicked person from amongst yourselves.
13 Amma ngey kaŋ yaŋ go taray, Irikoy g'i ciiti. Araŋ ma boro laala din kaa araŋ game ra.
