1But I myself, Paul, entreat you by the meekness and gentleness of the Christ, who, as to appearance, [when present] [am] mean among you, but absent am bold towards you;
1 Ay, Bulos (ay kaŋ gonda «boŋ kaynandiyaŋ» alhaali araŋ game ra, amma waato kaŋ ay si araŋ do ay wo «yaaru» no) ay g'araŋ ŋwaaray Almasihu lalabo nd'a booriyaŋo sabbo ra.
2but I beseech that present I may not be bold with the confidence with which I think to be daring towards some who think of us as walking according to flesh.
2 Oho, ay g'araŋ ŋwaaray, waati kaŋ ay kaa araŋ do araŋ ma s'ay doole ay ma goy da cimi nd'ay yaarutara kaŋ ay miila ay ma daŋ ka gaaba nda boro fooyaŋ kaŋ go g'iri himandi sanda boroyaŋ kaŋ go ga dira Adam-ize alhaalo boŋ.
3For walking in flesh, we do not war according to flesh.
3 Amma baa kaŋ iri goono ga dira gaaham woone ra, kulu nda yaadin iri si wongu te Adam-ize alhaalo boŋ.
4For the arms of our warfare [are] not fleshly, but powerful according to God to [the] overthrow of strongholds;
4 Zama iri wongu jinayey manti ndunnya wo wane yaŋ no, amma dabarikoyyaŋ no Irikoy do. I ga wongu fuwey zeeri.
5overthrowing reasonings and every high thing that lifts itself up against the knowledge of God, and leading captive every thought into the obedience of the Christ;
5 Iri go ga borey lasaabey zeeri, da haŋ kaŋ ga beeri kulu kaŋ i n'a beerandi a ma gaaba nda Irikoy bayra. Iri go ga fonguyaŋ kulu daŋ tamtaray ra i ma Almasihu gana.
6and having in readiness to avenge all disobedience when your obedience shall have been fulfilled.
6 Waato kaŋ araŋ ganayaŋo kubay mo, iri go soolante iri ma bana borey din gaa ngey wangay goyo kulu.
7Do ye look at what concerns appearance? If any one has confidence in himself that he is of Christ, let him think this again in himself, that even as he [is] of Christ, so also [are] we.
7 Araŋ go ga haggoy da hayey kaŋ yaŋ mo ga di hinne. Da boro fo go noodin kaŋ ga naanay nga boŋ gaa kaŋ nga ya Almasihu boro no, a ma faham ka bay kaŋ, mate kaŋ cine nga ya Almasihu wane no, iri mo yaadin no.
8For and if I should boast even somewhat more abundantly of our authority, which the Lord has given [to us] for building up and not for your overthrowing, I shall not be put to shame;
8 Zama baa d'ay fooma kayna fo nd'iri dabaro kaŋ Rabbi n'ay no araŋ jina-koyyaŋo se, manti araŋ halaciyaŋo se, kulu nda yaadin haawi s'ay di.
9that I may not seem as if I was frightening you by letters:
9 I ma s'ay guna danga ay ga ba k'araŋ humburandi nd'ay tirey.
10because his letters, he says, [are] weighty and strong, but his presence in the body weak, and his speech naught.
10 Zama boro fooyaŋ ga ne: «Oho, a tirey ga tin no, i gonda gaabi. Amma nga bumbo gaahamo, londibuuno no. A me sanney mo manti hay fo no.»
11Let such a one think this, that such as we are in word by letters [when] absent, such also present in deed.
11 To. Wa naŋ boro wo dumi ma woone lasaabu ka bay: mate kaŋ iri bara iri tirey sanno ra waati kaŋ iri si noodin, yaadin mo no iri ga bara iri te-goyey ra d'iri kaa.
12For we dare not class ourselves or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves; but these, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves with themselves, are not intelligent.
12 Iri wo binde, iri si yadda k'iri boŋ himandi wala k'iri boŋ deedandi nda boro fooyaŋ kaŋ yaŋ go ga ngey boŋ sifa. Amma ngey wo, kaŋ go ga ngey boŋ neesi nda care ka ngey boŋ deedandi nda care, i jaŋ fahamay.
13Now *we* will not boast out of measure, but according to the measure of the rule which the God of measure has apportioned to us, to reach to you also.
13 Amma iri wo, iri si fooma ka bisa iri hirro me. Amma iri ga fooma nda hirro kaŋ me Irikoy dumbu iri se kaŋ to hal araŋ do.
14For we do not, as not reaching to you, overstretch ourselves, (for we have come to you also in the glad tidings of the Christ;)
14 Zama iri si candi ka bisa iri hirro meyo gaa, danga a mana to araŋ do, zama iri no ka kaa sintina hal araŋ do ka kande Almasihu Baaru Hanna.
15not boasting out of measure in other people's labours, but having hope, your faith increasing, to be enlarged amongst you, according to our rule, yet more abundantly
15 Iri si fooma nda boro fo goy kaŋ bisa iri hirro me. Amma iri goono ga bine daŋ araŋ cimbeero ma tonton ka beeri hal iri ma du tontoni araŋ game ra iri hirro me.
16to announce the glad tidings to that [which is] beyond you, not to be boasting in another's rule of things made ready to hand.
16 Hala mo iri ma koy ka Baaru Hanna waazu laabey kaŋ go araŋ se jina ra. Iri ma si koy ka fooma nda haŋ kaŋ jin ka te boro fo batama ra.
17But he that boasts, let him boast in the Lord.
17 Amma: «Boro kaŋ goono ga fooma ma fooma Rabbi ra.»
18For not *he* that commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.
18 Zama manti boro kaŋ ga nga boŋ sifa no Rabbi ga yadda nd'a bo, amma kala boro kaŋ Rabbi ga sifa.
