1And thou, son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Mountains of Israel, hear the word of Jehovah.

2Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha! and, The ancient high places are become ours in possession;
2 Yaa no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci: Za kaŋ ibare na fafaryaŋ sanni te araŋ se ka ne «Ahãa! waato tudey boŋ sududuyaŋ nangey din ciya iri mayray hari!»
3therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because, yea, because they have made [you] desolate, and have swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the remnant of the nations, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and in the defaming of the people:
3 Ni binde, kala ni ma annabitaray te ka ne: Yaa no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci: Za kaŋ i n'araŋ naŋ kurmu, i n'araŋ tutubu parkatak kuray kulu, zama araŋ ma ciya mayray hari ndunnya dumi cindey se, sanni da mimanda hari mo borey se --
4therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Jehovah. Thus saith the Lord Jehovah to the mountains and to the hills, to the water-courses and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the cities that are forsaken, which are become a prey and a derision to the remnant of the nations that are round about,

5-- therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the remnant of the nations, and against the whole of Edom, which have appointed my land unto themselves for a possession with the joy of all [their] heart, with despite of soul, to plunder it by pillage.

6Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains and to the hills, to the water-courses and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the ignominy of the nations;

7therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I have lifted up my hand, [saying,] Verily the nations that are about you, they shall bear their shame.
7 A binde, yaa no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci: Ay ze ka ne: Haciika, dumi cindey kaŋ goono g'araŋ windi ga ngey haawo jare.
8And ye mountains of Israel shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people Israel: for they are at hand to come.

9For behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown.

10And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, the whole of it; and the cities shall be inhabited, and the waste places shall be builded.
10 Ay ga naŋ borey ma baa araŋ boŋ, Israyla dumo kulu nooya, oho, a kulu. Galley ga ye ka goro nda boroyaŋ ngey ra, i ga ye ka kurmu zeeney cina mo.
11And I will multiply upon you man and beast, and they shall increase and bring forth fruit; and I will cause you to be inhabited as [in] your former times, yea, I will make it better than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I [am] Jehovah.
11 Ay ga ye ka naŋ boro nda alman ma baa araŋ se koyne, i ga izeyaŋ hay ka tonton mo. Ay ga naŋ mo i ma goro araŋ ra sanda waato jirbey misa cine, hala mo ya albarka te araŋ se kaŋ ga bisa sintina wano. Woodin gaa no araŋ ga bay kaŋ ay no ga ti Rabbi.
12And I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of children.
12 Oho, ay ga naŋ borey kaŋ ga ti ay jama Israyla m'araŋ taamu. Ni ga ciya i mayray hari, ni ga ciya i se tubu, ni si ye k'i mursandi da izeyaŋ mo koyne.
13Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Because they say unto you, Thou devourest men, and hast bereaved thy nation,
13 Yaa no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci: Za kaŋ i goono ga ne ni se: «Ni ya boro ŋwaari no, ni na ni laabo mursandi nda izeyaŋ,»
14therefore thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nation any more, saith the Lord Jehovah;
14 ni binde si ye ka borey ŋwa ka ban koyne. Ni si ye ka ni laabo mursandi nda izeyaŋ mo. Yaadin no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci.
15neither will I cause thee to hear the ignominy of the nations any more, and thou shalt not bear the reproach of the peoples any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nation to fall any more, saith the Lord Jehovah.
15 Ay si yadda ni ma ye ka maa wowi sanney din koyne dumi cindey meyey ra. Ndunnya dumey si ye ka ni wow koyne, ni si ye ka ciya hartayaŋ daliili ni borey se koyne. Yaadin no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci.
16And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
16 Rabbi sanno kaa ay do koyne ka ne:
17Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a woman in her separation.
17 Boro izo, waato kaŋ Israyla dumo goro ngey laabo ra, i n'a ziibandi nda ngey muraadey da ngey goyey. Ay do i fonda ga hima sanda wayboro kaŋ di ziibi.
18And I poured out my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and because they had defiled it with their idols.

19And I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.

20And when they came to the nations whither they went, they profaned my holy name, when it was said of them, These are the people of Jehovah, and they are gone forth out of his land.
20 Waato kaŋ i to dumi cindey do, nangey kaŋ yaŋ i koy, i n'ay maa hanna ziibandi, za kaŋ borey n'i ciine te ka ne: «Rabbi borey neeya, day i fatta a laabo ra.»
21But I had pity for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations whither they went.

22Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for my holy name, which ye have profaned among the nations whither ye went.
22 Woodin sabbay se, kala ni ma ne Israyla dumo se: Yaawo no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci: Ya Israyla dumo, ay si woodin te araŋ sabbay se bo, amma ay maa hanna sabbay se, nga kaŋ araŋ ziibandi dumi cindey ra, nangey kaŋ araŋ koy.
23And I will hallow my great name, which was profaned among the nations, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I [am] Jehovah, saith the Lord Jehovah, when I shall be hallowed in you before their eyes.
23 Ay mo, kal ay m'ay maa beero fay waani, nga kaŋ i ziibandi dumi cindey ra, ay maa kaŋ araŋ ziibandi i bindo ra. Dumi cindey ga bay mo kaŋ ay no ga ti Rabbi, waati kaŋ ay hanan araŋ do i jine. Yaadin no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci.
24And I will take you from among the nations, and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.
24 Zama ay g'araŋ margu k'araŋ kaa dumi cindey ra, da laabey kulu ra, ya araŋ sambu ka kande araŋ laabo ra.
25And I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your uncleannesses and from all your idols will I cleanse you.
25 Gaa no ay ga hari kaŋ ga hanan say-say araŋ gaa, araŋ ga hanan mo. Araŋ kazaamatarayey d'araŋ toorey kulu gaa no ay g'araŋ hanandi.
26And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
26 Bine taji mo no ay g'araŋ no, ay ga biya taji mo daŋ araŋ ra. Araŋ gaahamey ra mo ay ga tondi bina din sambu, ya araŋ no bine hanno, basi wane.
27And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and keep mine ordinances, and ye shall do them.
27 Ay g'ay Biya daŋ araŋ ra, ya araŋ candi ay hin sanney ra, araŋ g'ay farilley haggoy k'i goy te mo.
28And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers, and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

29And I will save you from all your uncleannesses; and I will call for the corn and will multiply it, and lay no famine upon you.
29 Ay g'araŋ faaba mo k'araŋ kaa araŋ kazaamatarayey kulu ra. Ay ga ntaasu ce ka ne a ma baa, ay si haray candi ka kande araŋ gaa bo.
30And I will multiply the fruit of the trees and the increase of the field, so that ye may receive no more the reproach of famine among the nations.
30 Ay ga naŋ tuuri-nya da fari nafa ma baa, araŋ ma si ye ka di kayna koyne dumi cindey ra haray sabbay se.
31And ye shall remember your evil ways, and your doings which were not good, and shall loathe yourselves for your iniquities and for your abominations.
31 Waato din gaa no araŋ ga fongu araŋ muraadu laaley, d'araŋ goyey kaŋ si boori. Araŋ g'araŋ boŋ fanta araŋ boŋ se, araŋ goy laaley d'araŋ fanta harey sabbay se.
32Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord Jehovah, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your ways, O house of Israel.
32 Araŋ ma bay kaŋ manti araŋ se no ay ga woodin te bo. Araŋ ma haaw, araŋ boŋ ma haaw mo araŋ muraadey sabbay se, ya Israyla dumo. Yaadin no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci.
33Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In the day that I shall cleanse you from all your iniquities I will also cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places shall be builded.
33 Yaa no Rabbi, Koy Beero goono ga ci: Han kaŋ hane ay n'araŋ hanandi araŋ taaley kulu gaa, ay ga naŋ galley ma goro nda boroyaŋ, i ma kurmey cina mo.
34And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it was a desolation in the sight of all that passed by.
34 Laabo kaŋ goro boro kulu si a ra, i g'a far. Nga kaŋ go kurmu waato, hala borey kaŋ ga bisa kulu go ga di a yaadin,
35And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities [are] fortified [and] inhabited.

36And the nations that shall be left round about you shall know that I Jehovah build the ruined places [and] plant that which was desolate: I Jehovah have spoken, and I will do [it].
36 Woodin gaa no dumi cindey kaŋ cindi araŋ windanta ga bay kaŋ ay, Rabbi, ay na nangey kaŋ bagu yaŋ din cina. Ay no ka batama koono tilam. Ay, Rabbi no ka ci, ay g'a goy mo.
37Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will yet for this be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it unto them; I will increase them with men like a flock.
37 Yaa no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci: Ay yadda Israyla dumo ma woone ceeci ay do, ay mo g'a te i se: ay g'i borey baayaŋo tonton sanda kuru cine.
38As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her set feasts, so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah.
