¹And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

¹ Rabbi sanno ye ka kaa ay do koyne ka ne:

²Son of man, set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it,

² Ya nin, boro izo, ma ni moyduma ye Seyir tondo do haray da gaaba. Ma annabitaray te ka gaaba nd'a.

³and say unto it, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, mount Seir, and I will stretch out my hand upon thee, and I will make thee a desolation and an astonishment.

³ Ma ne a se: A go, ay ga gaaba nda nin, ya Seyir tondo, ay g'ay kambe salle ni boŋ, ay ma ni ciya kurmu nda batama falulle. Yaadin no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci.

⁴I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be a desolation: and thou shalt know that I [am] Jehovah.

⁴ Ay ga ni galley ciya koonu, ni ga ciya kurmu nangu. Gaa no ni ga bay kaŋ ay no ga ti Rabbi.

⁵Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast given over the children of Israel to the power of the sword, in the time of their calamity, in the time of the iniquity of the end;

⁵ Zama ni na duumi konnari jisi ni bina ra Israyla se. Ni n'i nooyandi mo takuba se i masiiba zaaro hane, ciiti bananta hane nooya.

⁶therefore, [as] I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, I will certainly appoint thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee; since thou hast not hated blood, blood shall pursue thee.

⁶ Yaa no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci: Woodin se no ay ze d'ay fundo, ay ga ni nooyandi kuri se, kuri ga ni gaaray mo. Za kaŋ ni mana konna kuri munyaŋ, woodin sabbay se no kuri munyaŋ ga ni gaaray.

⁷And I will make mount Seir a desolation and an astonishment, and cut off from it him that passeth out and him that returneth;

⁷ Yaadin cine no ay ga naŋ Seyir tondo ma ciya kurmu nda batama falulle mo. Ay ga naŋ a ma jaŋ boro kaŋ ga furo nda boro kaŋ ga fatta a ra.

⁸and I will fill his mountains with his slain. In thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in all thy water-courses shall they fall that are slain with the sword.

⁸ Ay g'a tondi kuukey toonandi d'a waney kaŋ i wi. Ni tudey boŋ, da ni goorey ra, hala nda ni hari zurey kulu meyey gaa, borey kaŋ takuba guuru ga kaŋ.

⁹I will make thee perpetual desolations, and thy cities shall not be inhabited: and ye shall know that I [am] Jehovah.

⁹ Ay ga ni ciya kurmu duumi. Borey si goro ni galley ra koyne. Gaa no araŋ ga bay kaŋ ay no ga ti Rabbi.

¹⁰Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it, whereas Jehovah was there:

¹⁰ Zama ni ne: «Ndunnya kunda hinka wo, da laabu hinka wo ga ciya ay wane, iri g'i ŋwa mo,» baa day kaŋ Rabbi go noodin waato.

¹¹therefore, [as] I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, I will even do according to thine anger and according to thine envy, as thou hast done out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I shall judge thee.

¹²And thou shalt know that I Jehovah have heard all thy reproaches, which thou hast uttered against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to devour.

¹² Ni ga bay mo kaŋ ay, Rabbi, ay maa ni alaasiray sanney kulu kaŋ ni te ka gaaba nda Israyla tondi kuukey. Ni goono ga ne: «I ciya kurmuyaŋ. Iri ga du ey k'i ŋwa ka ban!»

¹³And ye have magnified yourselves against me with your mouth, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard [them].

¹³ Araŋ n'araŋ boŋ beerandi ka gaaba nd'ay d'araŋ meyey. Araŋ na sanni boobo te ay boŋ, ay maa mo.

¹⁴Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee a desolation.

¹⁴ Yaa no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci: Waati kaŋ cine ndunnya kulu goono ga bine kaani te, ay ga ni ciya kurmu, kaŋ boro kulu si ni ra.

¹⁵As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolated, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be a desolation, O mount Seir, and all Edom, the whole of it: and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah.
