1And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
1 Rabbi sanno ye ka kaa ay do koyne ka ne:
2Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,
2 Boro izo, ma ni moyduma ye Israyla tondi kuukey do haray, ka annabitaray te ka gaaba nda tondey.
3and say, Mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Jehovah: thus saith the Lord Jehovah to the mountains and to the hills, to the water-courses and to the valleys: Behold, I, [even] I, do bring a sword upon you, and will destroy your high places.
3 Ma ne: Ya araŋ, Israyla tondi kuukey, wa maa Rabbi, Koy Beero sanno! Ya-cine no Rabbi, Koy Beero go ga ci tondi kuukey, da tudey, da tudey game batamey, da goorey se, a ne: Wa guna, ay no, ay bumbo ga takuba candi ka kande araŋ gaa, ay g'araŋ tudey boŋ sududuyaŋ nangey halaci mo.
4And your altars shall be desolate, and your sun-images shall be broken; and I will cast down your slain [men] before your idols;
4 Araŋ sargay* feemey ga ciya kurmuyaŋ, i g'araŋ wayna himandey bagu-bagu, ay m'araŋ borey kaŋ i wi soote ganda araŋ toorey jine.
5and I will lay the dead bodies of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.
5 Ay ga Israyla ize buukoy sasare ngey toorey jine, ay g'araŋ biriyey say-say nangu kulu araŋ sargay feemey do haray.
6In all your dwelling-places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your sun-images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.
6 Nangu kulu kaŋ araŋ goono ga goro, galley ga ye ka ciya kurmuyaŋ. I ga fay d'i tudey boŋ sududuyaŋ nangey kurmu, zama i m'araŋ feemey ciya kurmuyaŋ, i ma goro koonu. I m'araŋ toorey bagu-bagu kal i ma ban, i m'araŋ wayno himandey beeri-beeri. Goyey kaŋ araŋ te mo, i ma tuusu parkatak.
7And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I [am] Jehovah.
7 Borey kaŋ yaŋ i wi ga soobay ka kaŋ araŋ bindi ra, araŋ ga bay mo kaŋ ay no ga ti Rabbi.
8Yet will I leave a remnant, in that ye shall have some escaped from the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries.
8 Kulu nda yaadin, ay ga jare cindo naŋ, za kaŋ araŋ ra afooyaŋ ga du ka takuba yana ka koy dumi cindey ra, waati kaŋ cine ay n'araŋ say-say ndunnya laabey ra.
9And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they have been carried captives, when I shall have broken their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols; and they shall loathe themselves for the evils which they have committed, in all their abominations.
9 Araŋ ra borey kaŋ yana mo ga ye ka fongu ay gaa nangey kaŋ i kond'ey ka daŋ tamtaray dumi cindey ra. I ga fongu mate kaŋ cine ay bina ceeri ngey gaa, i biney kaŋ ga ba zina sabbay se, mate kaŋ i biney fay d'ay d'a. 10And they shall know that I [am] Jehovah: I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.
10 Gaa no i ga bay kaŋ ay no ga ti Rabbi. Manti haw ra no ay salaŋ kaŋ ay ne ay ga masiiba din kulu te i se bo.
11Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Smite with thy hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the abominations of the iniquities of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.
11 Yaa no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci: Kar ni kamba, ni ca kar ganda ka ne: Kaari Israyla dumo fanta hari laaley kulu sabbay se! Zama takuba da haray da balaaw g'i zeeri.
12He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that is left, and is besieged, shall die by the famine: and I will accomplish my fury upon them.
12 Nangu mooray waney, balaaw g'i wi, nangu maanay waney mo, takuba g'i wi. Ngey kaŋ cindi kaŋ wongo daŋ game mo, haray g'i wi. Yaadin cine no ay g'ay futa goyo ban d'a i boŋ.
13And ye shall know that I [am] Jehovah, when their slain shall be among their idols, round about their altars, upon every high hill, on all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick terebinth, the places where they offered sweet savour to all their idols.
13 Araŋ ga bay kaŋ ay no ga ti Rabbi, waati kaŋ cine borey kaŋ yaŋ i wi go ngey toorey game ra ga ngey feemey windi tudu kuuku kulu boŋ, da tondey kulu yollo gaa, da tuuri kaŋ gonda bi kulu cire, da shen* nya beeri kulu cire mo. Sanda, nangey kulu kaŋ ra i na haŋ kaŋ haw ga kaan salle ngey toorey kulu se nooya.
14And I will stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness of Diblath, in all their dwellings; and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah.
14 Ay ga kambe sambu i gaa, ya laabo ciya koonu nda kurmu, kal a ma bisa Dibla haray saajo gaa, nangu kulu kaŋ i go da goray. I ga bay mo kaŋ ay no ga ti Rabbi.
