1Then after a lapse of fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus also with [me];
1 Kala jiiri way cindi taaci banda no in da Barnaba ye Urusalima koyne. Ay na Titos kabay ay banda mo.
2and I went up according to revelation, and I laid before them the glad tidings which I preach among the nations, but privately to those conspicuous [among them], lest in any way I run or had run in vain;
3(but neither was Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, compelled to be circumcised;)
3 Amma baa Titos kaŋ go ay banda, kaŋ ga ti dumi cindey boro, i man'a tilasandi ka dambangu*.
4and [it was] on account of the false brethren brought in surreptitiously, who came in surreptitiously to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage;
4 _Sanno wo tun|_ mo nya-ize tangari wane fooyaŋ sabbay se kaŋ mollo ka furo iri game ra, hal i m'iri burcinitara kaŋ go Almasihu ra sunsunay, zama i m'iri daŋ tamtaray ra.
5to whom we yielded in subjection not even for an hour, that the truth of the glad tidings might remain with you.
5 Iri mo, iri mana yadda i se baa kayna, hala Baaru Hanna cimo ma goro araŋ game ra.
6But from those who were conspicuous as being somewhat -- whatsoever they were, it makes no difference to me: God does not accept man's person; for to me those who were conspicuous communicated nothing;
6 Amma ngey kaŋ ga ti boro beerey go no. (Mate kulu kaŋ i ciya d'a, ay baa si nda woodin. Irikoy sinda baar'a-baar'a). Ngey din kaŋ ga ti jine boroyaŋ mana hay kulu tonton ay waazo gaa.
7but, on the contrary, seeing that the glad tidings of the uncircumcision were confided to me, even as to Peter that of the circumcision,
7 Amma jine borey din di kaŋ Irikoy na Baaru Hanna talfi ay gaa ay ma kond'a dumi cindey se, mate kaŋ cine a n'a talfi Bitros gaa a ma kond'a Yahudancey se.
8(for he that wrought in Peter for [the] apostleship of the circumcision wrought also in me towards the Gentiles,)
8 Zama Irikoy kaŋ goy Bitros ra a ma ciya diya* Yahudancey se, nga no goy ay mo ra ay ma ciya diya dumi cindey se.
9and recognising the grace given to me, James and Cephas and John, who were conspicuous as being pillars, gave to me and Barnabas [the] right hands of fellowship, that *we* [should go] to the nations, and *they* to the circumcision;
9 Yakuba nda Kefas da Yohanna, kaŋ yaŋ ga ti bonjareyaŋ di gomno kaŋ Irikoy n'ay no. Waato din gaa binde, i na baakasinay daŋyaŋ kambe no in da Barnaba se hal iri ma koy dumi cindey do, ngey mo ma koy Yahudancey do.
10only that we should remember the poor, which same thing also I was diligent to do.
10 Amma i ne iri ma fongu nda talkey. Woodin mo no ay gonda anniya ay ma te.
11But when Peter came to Antioch, I withstood him to [the] face, because he was to be condemned:
11 Amma waato kaŋ Kefas kaa Antiyos kwaara, ay kakaw d'a me-da-me, zama a na taali te.
12for before that certain came from James, he ate with [those of] the nations; but when they came, he drew back and separated himself, fearing those of [the] circumcision;
12 Zama za boro fooyaŋ mana fun Yakuba do ka kaa, Bitros doona ka ŋwa dumi cindey borey banda. Amma waato kaŋ i kaa, a ye banda ka nga boŋ fay waani. A goono ga humburu borey kaŋ go dambanguyaŋ borey do haray.
13and the rest of the Jews also played the same dissembling part with him; so that even Barnabas was carried away too by their dissimulation.
13 Yahudance cindey mo n'a gana munaficitaray ra, hala Barnaba bumbo mo ye banda i munaficitara sabbay se.
14But when I saw that they do not walk straightforwardly, according to the truth of the glad tidings, I said to Peter before all, If *thou*, being a Jew, livest as the nations and not as the Jews, how dost thou compel the nations to Judaize?
14 Amma waato kaŋ ay di i siino ga dira nda mate kaŋ ga saba Baaru Hanna cimo boŋ, kala ikulu jine ay ne Kefas se: «Nin kaŋ ga ti Yahudance, ni goono ga goro danga dumi cindey boro cine, manti danga Yahudance cine. Ifo se no ni goono ga dumi cindey tilasandi i ma goro danga Yahudancey cine?
15We, Jews by nature, and not sinners of [the] nations,
15 Iri wo, i n'iri hay Yahudanceyaŋ, manti ‹dumi cindi zunubikooney›.
16but knowing that a man is not justified on the principle of works of law [nor] but by the faith of Jesus Christ, *we* also have believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified on the principle of [the] faith of Christ; and not of works of law; because on the principle of works of law no flesh shall be justified.
17Now if in seeking to be justified in Christ we also have been found sinners, then [is] Christ minister of sin? Far be the thought.
17 Amma d'iri go ga ceeci Irikoy m'iri no adilitaray Almasihu ra, iri di mo iri ya zunubikooniyaŋ no, yaadin gaa Almasihu g'iri daŋ iri ma zunubi te no, wala? Abada!
18For if the things I have thrown down, these I build again, I constitute myself a transgressor.
18 Zama nd'ay ye ka cina hayey kaŋ ay jin ka zeeri, ay go ga cabe kaŋ ay wo asariya daaruko no.
19For *I*, through law, have died to law, that I may live to God.
19 Zama ay wo, asariya do no ay bu asariya se, hal ay ma funa Irikoy jine.
20I am crucified with Christ, and no longer live, *I*, but Christ lives in me; but [in] that I now live in flesh, I live by faith, the [faith] of the Son of God, who has loved me and given himself for me.
20 Almasihu banda no i n'ay kanji. Kulu nda yaadin ay goono ga funa, amma manti ay no, day Almasihu no goono ga funa ay ra. Fundo mo kaŋ ay goono ga funa nd'a sohõ ay gaahamo ra, ay goono ga funa nd'a cimbeeri ra. Cimbeero wo go Irikoy Izo ra, nga kaŋ ga ba ay, kaŋ na nga boŋ no ka bu ay sabbay se.
21I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness [is] by law, then Christ has died for nothing.
21 Ay si ga Irikoy gomno ye yaamo, zama nda boro ga du adilitaray _Irikoy jine|_ asariya ganayaŋ do, yaadin gaa Almasihu bu yaamo nooya.»
