Galatians

3

1O senseless Galatians, who has bewitched you; to whom, as before your very eyes, Jesus Christ has been portrayed, crucified [among you]?
1 Ya Galatiya borey kaŋ sinda carmay, may no k'araŋ darandi, araŋ kaŋ araŋ moy jine no i cabe taray kwaaray mate kaŋ i na Yesu Almasihu kanji nd'a?
2This only I wish to learn of you, Have ye received the Spirit on the principle of works of law, or of [the] report of faith?
2 Woone hinne no ay ga ba ay ma bay araŋ gaa: hala araŋ na Biya* _Hanna|_ ta zama araŋ na asariya* gana se, wala zama se araŋ na sanno kaŋ araŋ maa cimandi?
3Are ye so senseless? having begun in Spirit, are ye going to be made perfect in flesh?
3 Day araŋ sinda carmay baa kayna no, hal araŋ kaŋ sintin Biya ra, sohõ araŋ goono ga ceeci araŋ ma koy jina ka toonandi araŋ boŋ gaabi ra no?
4Have ye suffered so many things in vain, if indeed also in vain?
4 Wala araŋ na taabi boobo haŋ yaamo no? Da day daahir yaamo no!
5He therefore who ministers to you the Spirit, and works miracles among you, [is it] on the principle of works of law, or of [the] report of faith?
5 Irikoy binde goono ga Biya _Hanna|_ no araŋ se, a goono ga dabari goyey te araŋ game ra mo. A goono ga woodin yaŋ te zama araŋ ga asariya gana se no, wala zama araŋ ga sanno kaŋ araŋ maa cimandi se no?
6Even as Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness.
6 Araŋ ma fongu Ibrahim: «A na Irikoy cimandi, Irikoy mo na woodin lasaabu a se adilitaray.»
7Know then that they that are on the principle of faith, these are Abraham's sons;
7 Araŋ ma woone bay mo: borey kaŋ yaŋ ga cimandi, ngey no ga ti Ibrahim izey.
8and the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the nations on the principle of faith, announced beforehand the glad tidings to Abraham: In thee all the nations shall be blessed.
8 Tawreto Tira jin ka ci ka ne kaŋ Irikoy ga dumi cindey adilandi* _nga jine|_ cimbeeri do. Zama Irikoy na Baaru Hanna waazu Ibrahim se ka ne: «Ni do no ndunnya dumey kulu ga du albarka.»
9So that they who are on the principle of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.
9 Yaadin gaa borey kaŋ goono ga cimandi, ngey no ga du albarka Ibrahim banda, nga kaŋ na Irikoy cimandi.
10For as many as are on the principle of works of law are under curse. For it is written, Cursed is every one who does not continue in all things which [are] written in the book of the law to do them;
10 Amma borey kulu kaŋ ga naanay asariya goyey gaa, laaliyaŋ kaŋ i boŋ, zama i hantum ka ne: «Laalante no boro kulu kaŋ si mo ye hay kulu kaŋ go hantumante asariya tira ra, ka n'i te mo.»
11but that by law no one is justified with God [is] evident, because The just shall live on the principle of faith;
11 Zama woone, taray kwaaray no a go: asariya ganayaŋ si naŋ boro kulu ma ciya adilante Irikoy jine, zama «boro kaŋ ciya adilante _Irikoy jine|_, cimbeeri ra no a ga funa.»
12but the law is not on the principle of faith; but, He that shall have done these things shall live by them.
12 Amma asariya wo, manti cimbeeri ra no a bara bo. Amma Tawretu* Tira ne: «Boro kaŋ g'i gana, a ga nga baafuna te i ra.»
13Christ has redeemed us out of the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, (for it is written, Cursed [is] every one hanged upon a tree,)
13 Almasihu n'iri fansa asariya laaliyaŋo gaa, za kaŋ a ciya laalante iri sabbay se. Zama a go hantumante: «Laalante no boro kulu kaŋ i sarku bundu gaa.»
14that the blessing of Abraham might come to the nations in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
14 Woodin te mo hala albarka kaŋ Irikoy no Ibrahim se ma kaa dumi kulu gaa Yesu Almasihu do, hala mo iri ma du Biya _Hanno|_ cimbeeri ra, kaŋ Irikoy jin ka alkawli sambu ka ne nga ga no.
15Brethren, (I speak according to man,) even man's confirmed covenant no one sets aside, or adds other dispositions to.
15 Ay nya-izey, ay ga salaŋ araŋ se da haŋ kaŋ bora kulu ga bay: baa alkawli kaŋ ti boro wane, waati kaŋ i n'a daahirandi, boro kulu s'a kaa, boro kulu si tonton a gaa mo.
16But to Abraham were the promises addressed, and to his seed: he does not say, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed; which is Christ.
16 Ibrahim da nga banda bora se no Irikoy na alkawlo no. A mana ne: «banda se», danga day boro boobo, amma «ni banda bora», danga banda gaa boro fo no, kaŋ ga ti Almasihu.
17Now I say this, A covenant confirmed beforehand by God, the law, which took place four hundred and thirty years after, does not annul, so as to make the promise of no effect.
17 Woone ay goono ga ci: Irikoy jin ka alkawlo daahirandi. Asariya kaŋ furo jiiri zangu taaci nda waranza banda, a si alkawlo wo ganandi, hal a ma ciya yaamo.
18For if the inheritance [be] on the principle of law, [it is] no longer on the principle of promise; but God gave it in grace to Abraham by promise.
18 Zama nda tubo fun asariya do, a si fun alkawli do. Amma Irikoy n'a no Ibrahim se alkawlo boŋ nga gomno ra.
19Why then the law? It was added for the sake of transgressions, until the seed came to whom the promise was made, ordained through angels in [the] hand of a mediator.
19 Yaadin gaa, ifo no asariya ga hanse binde? To. Irikoy n'a tonton no hala borey ma faham da haŋ kaŋ ga ti nga miila daaruyaŋ. Asariya wo ma goro mo hala banda bora ma kaa kaŋ se i na alkawlo no. I na asariya samba mo malaykayaŋ banda, sasabandiko fo kambe ra.
20But a mediator is not of one, but God is one.
20 Sasabandikwa binde, manti boro folloŋ hinne se no a bara. Amma Irikoy ya nga hinne no.
21[Is] then the law against the promises of God? Far be the thought. For if a law had been given able to quicken, then indeed righteousness were on the principle of law;
21 Wala asariya ga gaaba nda Irikoy alkawlo no? Abada! D'i na asariya no kaŋ ga hin ka fundi no, doŋ daahir no adilitaray _Irikoy jine|_ ga bara asariya din ra.
22but the scripture has shut up all things under sin, that the promise, on the principle of faith of Jesus Christ, should be given to those that believe.
22 Amma Irikoy Tira Hanney ne boro kulu go daabante no zunubi dabaro cire, hal i ma alkawlo no borey kaŋ yaŋ goono ga cimandi se. Alkawlo wo ga ti cimbeeri wane Yesu Almasihu ra.
23But before faith came, we were guarded under law, shut up to faith [which was] about to be revealed.
23 Amma za cimbeeri mana kaa, iri ya asariya kas'izeyaŋ no. Iri go daabante no hala cimbeeri ga aniya ka bangay.
24So that the law has been our tutor up to Christ, that we might be justified on the principle of faith.
24 Yaadin gaa, asariya n'iri gaay danga ize gaayko kala Almasihu kaa, hal iri ma ciya adilante _Irikoy jine|_ cimbeeri ra.
25But, faith having come, we are no longer under a tutor;
25 Amma sohõ kaŋ cimbeeri kaa, iri si ize gaaykwa din dabaro cire koyne.
26for ye are all God's sons by faith in Christ Jesus.
26 Zama araŋ kulu Irikoy izeyaŋ no, kaŋ to albeeriyaŋ, zama araŋ na Almasihu Yesu cimandi.
27For ye, as many as have been baptised unto Christ, have put on Christ.
27 Zama araŋ kulu kaŋ se i na baptisma* te Almasihu ra, araŋ na Almasihu faka.
28There is no Jew nor Greek; there is no bondman nor freeman; there is no male and female; for ye are all one in Christ Jesus:
28 Sohõ fayanka si no: da Yahudance no, wala dumi cindey boro no, da bannya no wala burcini no, da alboro no wala wayboro no, zama araŋ kulu afolloŋ no Almasihu Yesu ra.
29but if *ye* [are] of Christ, then ye are Abraham's seed, heirs according to promise.
29 Amma d'araŋ ya Almasihu wane yaŋ no, kulu araŋ ya Ibrahim bandayaŋ no, da tubukoyaŋ mo, mate kaŋ alkawlo ci.
