1Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help, and depend on horses, and confide in chariots because [they are] many, and in horsemen because they are very strong; and who look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek Jehovah!
1 Kaari borey din kaŋ yaŋ ga dira ka koy Misira gaakasinay ceeciyaŋ se! I goono ga jeeri bariyaŋ gaa. I goono ga naanay wongu torkoyaŋ gaa i baayaŋo sabbay se, Da bari-karey mo gaa zama i gonda gaabi gumo. Amma i mana mo sinji Israyla wane Hananyankoyo gaa, I mana Rabbi ceeci mo.
2But he also is wise, and he bringeth evil, and recalleth not his words; and he will arise against the house of evildoers, and against the help of workers of iniquity.

3And the Egyptians are men, and not ùGod, and their horses flesh, and not spirit; and Jehovah shall stretch forth his hand, and he that helpeth shall stumble, and he that is helped shall fall, and they all shall perish together.
3 Misirancey wo boroyaŋ no, i manti Irikoy bo. I bariyey mo hamyaŋ no, manti biyayaŋ no. A binde, saaya kaŋ cine Rabbi ga nga kambe salle, Gaakasinaykoyo ga kati, Gaakasinay taakwa mo ga kaŋ. I kulu ga halaci no care banda.
4For thus hath Jehovah said unto me: Like as the lion and the young lion growling over his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, is not afraid of their voice, nor giveth way before the multitude of them; so will Jehovah of hosts come down to war upon mount Zion, and on the hill thereof.
4 Zama yaa no Rabbi ci ay se: «Sanda mate kaŋ cine muusu beeri wala muusu ize ga dundu nga duura boŋ d'i na kuruko marga ce a gaa, I jinda s'a humburandi, a si gartu mo i kosongo se. Yaadin cine no Rabbi Kundeykoyo ga zumbu nd'a Sihiyona tondo boŋ, d'a tudo boŋ mo, Zama nga ma wongu te.
5As birds with outstretched wings, so will Jehovah of hosts cover Jerusalem; covering, he will also deliver, passing over, he will rescue [it].

6Turn unto him from whom ye have deeply revolted, ye children of Israel;
6 Ya araŋ Israyla izey, wa bare ka ye Rabbi do haray, nga kaŋ gaa araŋ murte gumo.
7for in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver and his idols of gold, which your sinful hands have made unto you.
7 Zama zaaro din ra boro fo kulu ga nga nzarfu tooro da nga wura tooro furu, wo kaŋ yaŋ araŋ kambey te, kaŋ i teeyaŋ ya zunubi no.
8And Asshur shall fall by the sword, not of a great man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him: and he shall flee from the sword, and his young men shall become tributary;
8 «Saaya din takuba ga Assiriya zeeri, Kaŋ manti boro wane no. Takuba din mo kaŋ manti Adam-ize wane no ga ibare ŋwa ka ban. A ga zuru takuba se, A wane sahãkooney mo ga ciya taabi goy-teeriyaŋ.
9and for fear, he shall pass over to his rock, and his princes shall be afraid of the banner, saith Jehovah, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.
9 A tondi daaro ga daray humburkumay sabbay se, A mayraykoyey mo ga gartu d'i di liiliwalo.» Yaadin no Rabbi ci, Nga kaŋ danjo go Sihiyona ra, A dudal beero mo go Urusalima.
