1Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.
1 Guna, han fo koy fo ga mayray te adilitaray ra, Mayraykoyyaŋ mo ga may da cimi ciiti.
2And a man shall be as a hiding-place from the wind, and a covert from the storm; as brooks of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land.
2 Boro fo ga ciya sanda tuguyaŋ do haw kaŋ ga faaru sabbay se, Da kosaray hari mo beene hari bambata sabbay se, A ga ciya sanda laabu kogo ra hari zuruyaŋ, Wala tondi bambata bi laabu kaŋ gonda farga ra.
3And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken;
3 Borey kaŋ ga di moy si te kubay-kubay, Borey kaŋ yaŋ hangey ga maa ga laakal ye.
4and the heart of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.
4 Cahante bine ga faham da bayray, Jijey mo deeney ga bare ka salaŋ hal a ma boori.
5The vile man shall be no more called noble, nor the churl said to be bountiful:
5 Boro si ye ka ne saamo ya boro hanno no koyne. Baciilu mo, i si ye ka ne a se gomnikoy.
6for the vile man will speak villainy, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against Jehovah, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and to cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
6 Zama saamo ga soobay ka saamotaray sanni te, A bina mo ga laala goy te zama nga ma soobay ka ganayaŋ-jaŋay goy te se, Ka taali ci mo Rabbi boŋ. A ma harayze ganji ŋwaari, A ma jaw maako ganji hari mo.
7The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the meek with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.
7 Baciilu wongu jinayey ya laala wane yaŋ no, A ga dabari laalo yaŋ te zama taabante ma halaci da tangari sanniyaŋ, Baa alfukaaru na cimi ci.
8But the noble deviseth noble things; and to noble things doth he stand.
8 Amma boro hanno ga muraadu hanno yaŋ soola, Muraadu hanney gaa mo no a ga sandandi.
9Rise up, ye women that are at ease, hear my voice; ye careless daughters, give ear unto my speech.
9 Ya araŋ wayborey kaŋ yaŋ go bine kaani goray ra. Wa tun ka kay ka maa ay jinda. Ya araŋ wandiyey kaŋ si saal, Wa hanga jeeri ay sanney se.
10In a year and [some] days shall ye be troubled, ye careless women; for the vintage shall fail, the ingathering shall not come.
10 Ya araŋ wayborey kaŋ si saal, Ne ka guna jiiri fo nda jirbiyaŋ no araŋ ga taabi haŋ, Zama reyzin wiyaŋ ga gaze, borey si dundum mo.
11Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones; strip you, and make you bare, and gird [sackcloth] on your loins!
11 Ya araŋ wayborey kaŋ yaŋ go bine kaani goray ra, Araŋ gaahamey ma jijiri. Ya araŋ kaŋ yaŋ si saal, Wa soobay ka taabi haŋ. Wa bankaaray kaa, wa bara koonu, Wa bufu zaara haw araŋ cantey gaa.
12They shall smite on the breasts [in lamentation] for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vineyards.
12 W'araŋ gandey di fari hanney sabbay se, Da reyzin nya kaŋ ga hay sabbay se,
13Upon the land of my people shall come up thistles [and] briars, yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city.
13 D'ay borey laabo mo se kaŋ karji nyayaŋ da tuuri karjikoyyaŋ ga zay a ra. Oho, wa hẽ mo gallu farhanta ra windey kulu se kaŋ yaŋ gonda bine kaani.
14For the palace shall be deserted, the multitude of the city shall be forsaken; hill and watchtower shall be caves for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;
14 Zama borey ga fay da bonkoono faada. Gallu kaŋ gonda boro boobo, i ga fay d'a kurmu. Ofel da batandiyaŋ jidan bisey ga ciya tondi guusu yaŋ hal abada, Da ganji farka wayey farhã hari, Da alman kurey kuruyaŋ do.
15until the Spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness become a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.
15 A ga ciya kurmu hal alwaati kaŋ cine Rabbi ga nga Biya dooru a ma fun beene ka kaa iri boŋ. Saajo mo ga ciya fari kaŋ ga te nafa, Faro kaŋ ga te nafa mo, I g'a lasaabu sanda saaji tuuri zugu cine.
16And judgment shall inhabit the wilderness, and righteousness dwell in the fruitful field.
16 Waato din gaa no cimi ciiti ga goro saajo ra, Adilitaray mo ga goro faro kaŋ gonda nafa din ra.
17And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance for ever.
17 Adilitaray nafa ga ciya laakal kanay. Adilitaray alhakko mo ga ciya bine ra baani da deyaŋ timmante kaŋ sinda sikka hal abada.
18And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting-places.
18 Gaa no ay borey ga goro laakal kanay nangoray ra, Nangoray tabbatante yaŋ ra, Da fulanzamyaŋ nanguyaŋ kaŋ sinda laakal tunay ra.
19And it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place.
19 Baa kaŋ gari ga te kaŋ ga saajo tuuri zugey zeeri, A ga gallu mo zeeri parkatak,
20Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth the feet of the ox and the ass.
20 Kulu nda yaadin araŋ ya albarkanteyaŋ no, Araŋ kaŋ yaŋ goono ga duma hari meyey gaa nangu kulu, Araŋ goono ga yeeji nda farkay boy mo i ma koy ka kuru.
