Jeremiah

43

1And it came to pass, when Jeremiah had ended speaking unto all the people all the words of Jehovah their God, with which Jehovah their God had sent him to them -- all these words,
1 A ciya mo, waato kaŋ Irimiya salaŋ jama kulu se ka ban, a na Rabbi i Irikoyo sanney kulu ci i se, kaŋ Rabbi i Irikoyo n'a donton d'a i do, sanda sanney din kulu nooya,
2-- then spoke Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men, saying to Jeremiah, Thou speakest falsely: Jehovah our God hath not sent thee to say, Go not into Egypt to sojourn there;
3but Baruch the son of Nerijah is setting thee on against us, to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they may put us to death, and carry us away captives into Babylon.
3 Amma Baruk Neriya izo no ka ni daŋ ni ma gaaba nda iri, zama iri ma furo Kaldancey kambe ra. Ngey mo g'iri wi wala i ma konda iri ka daŋ tamtaray ra Babila.»
4So Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, and all the people, hearkened not unto the voice of Jehovah to abide in the land of Judah;
4 Yaadin cine no Yohanan Kareya izo nda wonkoyey kulu, da jama kulu mana Rabbi sanno gana, kaŋ ne i ma goro Yahuda laabo ra.
5but Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, took all the remnant of Judah, that were returned from all nations whither they had been driven, to sojourn in the land of Judah;
5 Amma Yohanan Kareya izo, da wonkoyey kulu na Yahuda jara kaŋ cindi din kulu sambu. Yahuda jara din ga ti borey kaŋ yaŋ ye ka kaa ka fun ndunnya dumey kulu ra, nangey kaŋ i go say-sayante yaŋ din, zama ngey ma goro Yahuda laabo ra --
6men, and women, and children, and the king's daughters, and every person that Nebuzar-adan the captain of the body-guard had left with Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Jeremiah the prophet, and Baruch the son of Nerijah;
6 alborey, da wayborey, da zankey, da bonkoono ize wayborey, da boro kulu kaŋ batukoy koyo Nebuzaradan naŋ Gedaliya Ahikam izo, Safan ize kambe ra, da annabi Irimiya, da Baruk Neriya izo.
7and they came into the land of Egypt: for they hearkened not unto the voice of Jehovah. And they came as far as Tahpanhes.
7 I koy Misira laabo ra ka kaa hala Tafanes, zama i mana Rabbi sanno gana.
8And the word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah in Tahpanhes, saying,
8 Kala Rabbi sanno kaa Irimiya do Tafanes ra ka ne:
9Take great stones in thy hand, and hide them in the clay in the brick-kiln, which is at the entry of Pharaoh's house in Tahpanhes, in the sight of the Jews,
9 «Ma tondi bambata fooyaŋ sambu ni kambe ra k'i tugu cinayaŋ botogo ra kaŋ go Firawna windo kaŋ go Tafanes ra me gaa haray. M'a te mo naŋ kaŋ Yahuda borey moy go ga di.
10and say unto them, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon these stones which I have hidden, and he shall spread his royal pavilion over them.
10 Kala ni ma ne i se: Yaa no Rabbi Kundeykoyo, Israyla Irikoyo ci: A go, ay g'ay tamo Babila bonkoono Nebukadnezzar donton. Ay g'a koytaray karga sinji mo tondey wo kaŋ ay tugu din boŋ, a ga nga koytaray tanda daaru i boŋ mo.
11And he shall come and smite the land of Egypt: such as are for death to death, and such as are for captivity to captivity; and such as are for the sword to the sword.
11 D'a kaa mo a ga Misira laabo kar. Borey kaŋ i waadu buuyaŋ se, buuyaŋ do no i ga koy. Borey kaŋ i waadu tamtaray se, tamtaray ra no i ga koy. Borey kaŋ i waadu takuba se mo, takuba do no i ga koy.
12And I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt, and he shall burn them, and carry them away captive; and he shall array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd putteth on his garment; and he shall go forth from thence in peace.
12 Ay ga danji tusu Misira de-koyey windey gaa, Nebukadnezzar g'i ton mo. A ma toorey ku ka kond'ey ka daŋ tamtaray. A ga nga boŋ faka da Misira laabo sanda mate kaŋ cine alman hawji ga nga boŋ faka da nga daabiro, a ga fatta nango ra mo baani-nda-baani.
13And he shall break the pillars of Beth-shemesh, which is in the land of Egypt; and the houses of the gods of Egypt shall he burn with fire.
13 A ga wayna ganakoy diina windo muulu kuukey kaŋ go Misira laabo ra bagu-bagu, a ga Misira de-koyey windey ton da danji mo.»
