1And Job answered and said,
1 Kala Ayuba tu ka ne:
2How hast thou helped the powerless; how saved the arm that is without strength!
2 «Guna day mate kaŋ ni na hina-buuno gaa d'a! Guna ka di mate kaŋ ni na kambe kaŋ sinda gaabi faaba nd'a.
3How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom, and abundantly declared the thing as it is!
3 Guna mate kaŋ ni na saaware no boro kaŋ sinda laakal se d'a! Ni na bayray hanno ci mo kaŋ yulwa!
4For whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?
4 May se no ni na ni sanney ci? May biya mo no ka fun ni do?
5The shades tremble beneath the waters and the inhabitants thereof;
5 Refayimey goono ga jijiri haro da nga ra gorokoy cire.
6Sheol is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.
6 Koonu no Alaahara bara Rabbi jine, Halaciyaŋ do mo sinda daabuyaŋ hari.
7He stretcheth out the north over empty space, he hangeth the earth upon nothing;
7 A ga azawa kamba daaru batama kwaaray koono boŋ, A na ndunnya mo sarku, hay kulu si a cire.
8He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds, and the cloud is not rent under them.
8 A ga harey kunsum nga beene hirriyaŋ kuba ra, Kulu nda yaadin hirriyaŋo mana kortu i cire.
9He covereth the face of his throne, he spreadeth his cloud upon it.
9 A ga nga karga alhaalo daabu, Ka nga buro daaru a boŋ.
10He hath traced a fixed circle over the waters, unto the confines of light and darkness.
10 A na haro batama me kurkutu ka windi hal a koy ka kubay da kaari fay-fayyaŋ.
11The pillars of the heavens tremble and are astonished at his rebuke.
11 Beene gaayyaŋ harey goono ga jijiri, Alyanga n'i di a deeniyaŋo se.
12He stirreth up the sea by his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through Rahab.
12 A goono ga teeku kanandi nda nga hino, A n'a boŋbeera gooru nda nga fahama mo.
13By his Spirit the heavens are adorned; his hand hath formed the fleeing serpent.
13 A Biya no i ga beene batama taalam d'a, A kamba mo no ga gondi kaŋ ga zuru gooru.
14Lo, these are the borders of his ways; but what a whisper of a word do we hear of him! And the thunder of his power, who can understand?
14 Guna, woodin yaŋ wo a hina muraadey caso hinne no, A baaro ciinay kayniyo no iri goono ga maa! Amma a hino kaatiyaŋo, May no hin ka faham d'a?»
