1And Job continued his parable and said,
1 Ayuba ye ka nga misa feeri ka tonton ka ne:
2[As] ùGod liveth, who hath taken away my right, and the Almighty, who hath embittered my soul,
2 «Ay ze da Irikoy fundikoono kaŋ n'ay cimo ta ay gaa, Ay ze da Hina-Kulu-Koyo kaŋ n'ay fundo daŋ a ma koroŋ.
3All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of +God is in my nostrils,
3 Duumi d'ay fundo go ay gaa, Kaŋ Irikoy fulanzama mo go ay niine funey ra,
4My lips shall not speak unrighteousness, nor my tongue utter deceit!
4 Daahir ay meyo si adilitaray-jaŋay sanni te, Ay deena mo si gulinci ci.
5Be it far from me that I should justify you; till I die I will not remove my blamelessness from me.
5 Irikoy ma boriyandi, way, Ay ma yadda kaŋ araŋ gonda cimi! Kala ya bu, ay si fay d'ay cimo.
6My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart reproacheth [me] not one of my days.
6 Ay goono g'ay adilitara gaay, Ay s'a taŋ mo. Ay fundo me muudu ay bina si taali dake ay boŋ.
7Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous.
7 Ay ibara ma ciya sanda boro laalo cine, Boro kaŋ tun ay se mo ma ciya sanda boro kaŋ sinda adilitaray.
8For what is the hope of the ungodly, when [God] cutteth him off, when +God taketh away his soul?
8 Zama boro kaŋ si Irikoy gana, baa a du riiba, Ifo no a ga beeje da Irikoy n'a fundo ta a gaa?
9Will ùGod hear his cry when distress cometh upon him?
9 Irikoy ga maa a hẽeno no, Waati kaŋ taabi kaa a gaa?
10Doth he delight himself in the Almighty? will he at all times call upon +God?
10 Wala a ga soobay ka farhã Hina-Kulu-Koyo do, Ka ce Irikoy maa gaa alwaati kulu?
11I will teach you concerning the hand of ùGod; what is with the Almighty will I not conceal.
11 Ay ga araŋ dondonandi Irikoy kambe goy baaru, Ay si tugu araŋ se haŋ kaŋ go Hina-Kulu-Koyo banda.
12Behold, ye yourselves have all seen [it]; and why are ye thus altogether vain?
12 Guna, araŋ bumbey, araŋ kulu di woodin. Ifo se binde no araŋ ciya yaamo parkatak?
13This is the portion of the wicked man with ùGod, and the heritage of the violent, which they receive from the Almighty: --
13 Woone no ga ti boro laalo baa Irikoy do, Gurzugandikoy tubo neeya, Haŋ kaŋ Hina-Kulu-Koyo ga bana i se:
14If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword, and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread;
14 Baa a izey baa gumo, i ga ciya takuba me ŋwaari, A banda mo si kungu nda ŋwaari.
15Those that remain of him shall be buried by death, and his widows shall not weep.
15 A dumey kaŋ cindi mo, i g'i fiji balaaw ra. A wayborey kaŋ kurnyey bu mo si bu baray te.
16Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare clothing as the clay;
16 Baa a na nzarfu margu sanda kusa cine, A ma bankaaray gusam sanda botogo cine,
17He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on; and the innocent shall divide the silver.
17 A ya day ma soola te, amma adilantey no g'i daŋ, Borey kaŋ yaŋ sinda taali mo no ga nzarfo fay.
18He buildeth his house as the moth, and as a booth that a keeper maketh.
18 A ga nga windo cina sanda gangam ize, Sanda fari tanda kaŋ fari batuko ga te.
19He lieth down rich, but will do so no more; he openeth his eyes, and he is not.
19 A ga kani arzakante, amma nga mo nooya. D'a na mo hay, a go, arzaka si no!
20Terrors overtake him like waters; a whirlwind stealeth him away in the night.
20 Humburkumay ga kaa a gaa sanda beene hirriyaŋ hari cine, Hari haw bambata ga kaa k'a hamay cin.
21The east wind carrieth him away and he is gone; and as a storm it hurleth him out of his place.
21 Wayna funay hawo mo g'a ku ka kond'a, Kal a ma daray. A g'a haabu ka kaa nga nangora ra.
22And [God] shall cast upon him and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.
22 Zama Irikoy g'a catu no, a s'a windi bo! Baa a ga ba nga ma zuru a kamba se.
23[Men] shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.
23 Borey ga ngey kambey kobi a gaa ka ne: ‹Koy! Koy!› I m'a gaaray nga nango ra nda cuusuyaŋ.
