1And Bildad the Shuhite answered and said,
1 Kala Bildad Suhi bora tu ka ne:
2How long wilt thou speak these things? and the words of thy mouth be a strong wind?
2 «Waati fo no ni ga sanni woone yaŋ dumi teeyaŋ naŋ? Waati fo mo no ni ga fay da me sanney kaŋ ciya sanda haw bambata kaŋ ga faaru cine?
3Doth ùGod pervert judgment, and the Almighty pervert justice?
3 Irikoy no ga cimi ciiti siirandi, wala? Wala Hina-Kulu-Koyo no ga adilitaray siirandi?
4If thy children have sinned against him, he hath also given them over into the hand of their transgression.
4 Da ni izey na zunubi te a se, Nga mo n'i nooyandi i alhakko gaa.
5If thou seek earnestly unto ùGod, and make thy supplication to the Almighty,
5 Da ni na Irikoy gande ceeci nda himma, Ka kande ni ŋwaarayyaŋo Hina-Kulu-Koyo do,
6If thou be pure and upright, surely now he will awake for thee, and make the habitation of thy righteousness prosperous;
6 Da ni gonda hananyaŋ da cimi, Doŋ daahir no a ga tun ka mo hay ka haggoy da nin sohõ. A ga albarka daŋ ni adilitaray nangora gaa.
7And though thy beginning was small, yet thine end shall be very great.
7 Koyne, baa kaŋ ni sintina ya ikayna no, Ni kokora wo ga yulwa gumo.
8For inquire, I pray thee, of the former generation, and attend to the researches of their fathers;
8 Ni ya day, ay ga ni ŋwaaray, Ma waato zamaney fintal, Ma laakal ye haŋ kaŋ i baabey fisi ka kaa taray gaa.
9For we are [but] of yesterday, and know nothing, for our days upon earth are a shadow.
9 Zama iri ya bi wane yaŋ no, Iri si hay kulu bay, Zama iri ndunnya jirbey si hima kala bi cine.
10Shall not they teach thee, [and] tell thee, and utter words out of their heart?
10 Manti doŋ borey ga ni dondonandi, Ka ci ni se bo? I ma sanniyaŋ kaa taray ka fun ngey biney ra?
11Doth the papyrus shoot up without mire? doth the reed-grass grow without water?
11 Gooru kwaari ga hin ka fun ka zay mansaara si no, wala? Wala kundu ga hin ka beeri, hari si no?
12Whilst it is yet in its greenness [and] not cut down, it withereth before any [other] grass.
12 Za a gonda nga tayyaŋo, I man'a beeri mo, A ga waasu ka lakaw da kobto kulu.
13So are the paths of all that forget ùGod; and the profane man's hope shall perish,
13 To, yaadin cine no borey kulu kaŋ yaŋ dinya Irikoy, i fondey go. Wo kaŋ siino ga may Irikoy se mo, A beeje kulu ga halaci.
14Whose confidence shall be cut off, and his reliance is a spider's web.
14 A beeja ga ceeri, A deyaŋo mo sanda dadaara taaru cine no.
15He shall lean upon his house, and it shall not stand; he shall lay hold on it, but it shall not endure.
15 Bora ga jeeri nga fuwo gaa, Amma a si kay, A g'a di da gaabi no, amma a si duumi.
16He is full of sap before the sun, and his sprout shooteth forth over his garden;
16 Bora wo sanda tuuri boogu no, Kaŋ ga tun wayna ra, A kambey ga salle kalo boŋ.
17His roots are entwined about the stoneheap; he seeth the place of stones.
17 A kaajey go didijante tondey gaa, A ga furo hala tondi fu ra.
18If he destroy him from his place, then it shall deny him: I have not seen thee!
18 D'i n'a dagu ka kaa nga nango ra, Kala nango m'a ze ka ne: ‹Ay mana di nin baa ce fo.›
19Behold, this is the joy of his way, and out of the dust shall others grow.
19 Guna, Irikoy fonda farhã neeya: Ganda laabo ra no afooyaŋ ga zay ka fatta.
20Behold, ùGod will not cast off a perfect man, neither will he take evil-doers by the hand.
20 Guna, Irikoy si naanay boro furu bo, hal abada. Goy laalo teekoy mo, a si i kayandi.
21Whilst he would fill thy mouth with laughing and thy lips with shouting,
21 A ga ye ka ni meyo toonandi nda haari, Ni me kuurey mo da farhã dooni.
22They that hate thee shall be clothed with shame, and the tent of the wicked be no more.
22 Borey kaŋ yaŋ konna nin, Haawi no g'i daabu. Laalakoyey bukkey mo ga daray.»
