1And he said also to [his] disciples, There was a certain rich man who had a steward, and *he* was accused to him as wasting his goods.
1 Yesu salaŋ talibey se koyne ka ne: «Arzakante fo go no kaŋ gonda jine fune. Nga mo, i kand'a kalima koyo do ka ne a goono ga koyo jinay hasara.
2And having called him, he said to him, What [is] this that I hear of thee? give the reckoning of thy stewardship, for thou canst be no longer steward.
2 A n'a ce ka ne a se: ‹Ifo no wo kaŋ ay goono ga maa ni boŋ? Kala ni m'ay no ni jine-funetara lasaabo, zama a si du ka te ni ma ciya jine fune koyne.›
3And the steward said within himself, What shall I do; for my lord is taking the stewardship from me? I am not able to dig; I am ashamed to beg.
3 Jine funa ne nga bina ra: ‹Mate no ay ga te, za kaŋ ay koyo ga jine-funetara ta ay gaa? Ay sinda gaaham gaabi ay ma koy ka far, haawi g'ay di mo ay ma koy ka bar kar.
4I know what I will do, that when I shall have been removed from the stewardship I may be received into their houses.
4 To! Ay ga bay haŋ kaŋ ay ga te, hala waato kaŋ i n'ay kaa jine-funetara ra, borey m'ay ta ngey windey ra.›
5And having called to [him] each one of the debtors of his own lord, he said to the first, How much owest thou to my lord?
5 A na nga koyo garawkooni fo kulu ce ka ne sintina se: ‹Marge no ay koyo ga ni gana garaw?›
6And he said, A hundred baths of oil. And he said to him, Take thy writing and sit down quickly and write fifty.
6 Bora ne: ‹Ji tono waranka no.› A ne a se: ‹Ma ni tira sambu ka goro nda waasi ka hantum: iway no.›
7Then he said to another, And thou, how much dost thou owe? And he said, A hundred cors of wheat. And he says to him, Take thy writing and write eighty.
7 Waato din gaa a ne afo se: ‹Ni binde, marge no a ga ni gana?› Nga mo ne: ‹Alkama saaku zangu gu no.› A ne a se: ‹Ma ni tira sambu ka hantum: zangu taaci no.›
8And the lord praised the unrighteous steward because he had done prudently. For the sons of this world are, for their own generation, more prudent than the sons of light.
8 Kala koyo na jine funa kaŋ sinda naanay kuuku, zama a te dabari nda laakal. Zama ngey alwaato ra, zamana wo izey ga bisa annura izey laakal.
9And *I* say to you, Make to yourselves friends with the mammon of unrighteousness, that when it fails ye may be received into the eternal tabernacles.
9 Ay mo ne araŋ se: araŋ ma te araŋ boŋ se coroyaŋ arzaka kaŋ sinda adilitaray do, zama waato kaŋ a gaze, ngey mo m'araŋ ta hal abada nangorayey ra.
10He that is faithful in the least is faithful also in much; and he that is unrighteous in the least is unrighteous also in much.
10 Boro kaŋ ga ti naanaykoy hari kayna ra, naanaykoy no hari boobo ra. Koyne, boro kaŋ sinda cimi hari kayna ra, a sinda cimi mo hari boobo ra.
11If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who shall entrust to you the true?
11 Yaadin no, d'araŋ mana goro nda naanay arzaka kaŋ sinda adilitaray do, may no ga cimi-cimo wane talfi araŋ gaa?
12and if ye have not been faithful in that which is another's, who shall give to you your own?
12 Koyne, d'araŋ mana goro naanaykoyyaŋ boro fo hari ra, may no g'araŋ wano no araŋ se?
13No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and will love the other, or he will cleave to the one and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
13 Goy-teeri kulu si hin ka may koy hinka se. Kal a ma wangu afa, ka ba afa, wala a ma mo ye afa gaa, ka donda afa. Araŋ si hin ka may Irikoy da arzaka se care banda.»
14And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things, and mocked him.
14 Farisi* fonda borey mo maa woodin kulu. I soobay k'a haaru, zama ngey wo nooru baakoyaŋ no.
15And he said to them, *Ye* are they who justify themselves before men, but God knows your hearts; for what amongst men is highly thought of is an abomination before God.
15 Yesu ne i se: «Araŋ no ga ti borey kaŋ yaŋ g'araŋ boŋ adilandi borey jine amma Irikoy g'araŋ biney bay. Zama haŋ kaŋ borey ga beerandi ya fanta hari no Irikoy do.
16The law and the prophets [were] until John: from that time the glad tidings of the kingdom of God are announced, and every one forces his way into it.
16 I ga goy da Tawretu* nda Annabey Tirey hala Yohanna kaayaŋo. Za alwaato din mo i goono ga Irikoy koytara waazu, boro kulu mo goono ga tangam ka furo a ra.
17But it is easier that the heaven and the earth should pass away than that one tittle of the law should fail.
17 Amma a ga faala beene nda ganda se i ma si no, da masida* fo ma daray Tawretu ra.
18Every one who puts away his wife and marries another commits adultery; and every one that marries one put away from a husband commits adultery.
18 Boro kulu kaŋ ga nga wando fay, k'afo hiiji, zina no a goono ga te. Boro kaŋ ga wayboro hiiji kaŋ kurnyo n'a fay mo, zina no a goono ga te.
19Now there was a rich man and he was clothed in purple and fine linen, making good cheer in splendour every day.
19 Arzakante fo go no, kaŋ ga nzarfu-boogu da kwaay kwaaray daŋ, a goono ga nga waate ŋwa han kulu, a goono ga fooma mo.
20And [there was] a poor man, by name Lazarus, [who] was laid at his gateway full of sores,

21 A goono ga bini i m'a ŋwaayandi nda zanjarmey kaŋ fun arzakanta din taablo boŋ ka kaŋ. Hala baa hansey ga kaa k'a biyey loogu.
22And it came to pass that the poor man died, and that he was carried away by the angels into the bosom of Abraham. And the rich man also died and was buried.
22 A go no mo kaŋ bar karkwa din bu, malaykey kond'a hala Ibrahim ganda ra. Arzakanta mo bu, i n'a sutura.
23And in hades lifting up his eyes, being in torments, he sees Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
23 Alaahara ra mo a na nga boŋ sambu ka guna, a go bone ra mo. Kal a di Ibrahim hala nangu mooro, nga nda Liyaziru a jarga.
24And he crying out said, Father Abraham, have compassion on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am suffering in this flame.
25But Abraham said, Child, recollect that *thou* hast fully received thy good things in thy lifetime, and likewise Lazarus evil things. But now he is comforted here, and *thou* art in suffering.
25 Amma Ibrahim ne: ‹Ay izo, ma fongu mate kaŋ ni du ni hari hanney ni fundo ra, Liyaziru mo du masiiba. Amma sohõ i goono ga bakar a se, day ni goono ga maa bone.
26And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm is fixed, so that those who desire to pass hence to you cannot, nor do they who [desire to cross] from there pass over unto us.

27And he said, I beseech thee then, father, that thou wouldest send him to the house of my father,
27 Kala bora din ne: ‹Ay ga ni ŋwaaray, baaba, m'a donton ay baabo kwaara,
28for I have five brothers, so that he may earnestly testify to them, that they also may not come to this place of torment.
28 zama ay gonda nya ize gu. A ma seeda i se hal i ma si kaa ne bone nango ra.›
29But Abraham says to him, They have Moses and the prophets: let them hear them.
29 Amma Ibrahim ne: ‹I gonda Musa nda Annabey* Tirey. Naŋ i ma maa i se.›
30But he said, Nay, father Abraham, but if one from the dead should go to them, they will repent.
30 Bora ne: ‹Abada, Baaba Ibrahim, amma da bu-ka-tun fo koy i do, i ga tuubi.›
31And he said to him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, not even if one rise from among [the] dead will they be persuaded.
31 Amma Ibrahim ne a se: ‹D'i mana maa Musa nda annabey se, i si hin ey, baa bu-ka-tun fo koy i do.› »
