1And having called together the twelve, he gave them power and authority over all demons, and to heal diseases,
1 A na iway cindi hinka din ce k'i margu. A n'i no dabari da hin follay kulu boŋ, i ma du ka jante waani-waani kaa mo.
2and sent them to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.
2 A n'i donton i ma Irikoy koytara waazu, i ma borey no baani.
3And he said to them, Take nothing for the way, neither staff, nor scrip, nor bread, nor money; nor to have two body-coats apiece.
3 A ne i se: «Araŋ ma si hay kulu jare dirawo sabbay se, goobu, wala foolo, wala ŋwaari, wala nooru, wala baa kwaay hinka boro kulu se.
4And into whatsoever house ye enter, there abide and thence go forth.
4 Windi kulu mo kaŋ ra araŋ ga furo, araŋ ma goro noodin ka tun noodin.
5And as many as may not receive you, going forth from that city, shake off even the dust from your feet for a witness against them.
5 Boro kulu mo kaŋ si araŋ kubayni, waati kaŋ araŋ fatta kwaara din ra, kal araŋ ma kusa kaŋ go araŋ cey gaa din kokobe, zama a ma ciya i se seeda.»
6And going forth they passed through the villages, announcing the glad tidings and healing everywhere.
6 Talibey koy mo ka kawyey gana ka Baaru Hanna waazu ka borey no baani nangu kulu.
7And Herod the tetrarch heard of all the things which were done [by him], and was in perplexity, because it was said by some that John was risen from among [the] dead,
7 Bonkoono Hirodus* maa hay kulu kaŋ te baaru. A boŋ haw mo, zama boro fooyaŋ goono ga ne Yohanna tun ka fun buukoy game ra.
8and by some that Elias had appeared, and by others that one of the old prophets had risen again.
8 Afooyaŋ mo goono ga ne Iliya no bangay. Cindey mo ne doŋ annabi fo no ka tun.
9And Herod said, John *I* have beheaded, but who is this of whom I hear such things? and he sought to see him.
9 Amma Hirodus ne: «Ay na Yohanna boŋo kaa, amma may no boro woone kaŋ boŋ ay go ga maa hayey wo dumi?» Kal a ceeci nga ma di Yesu.
10And the apostles having returned related to him whatever they had done. And he took them and withdrew apart into [a desert place of] a city called Bethsaida.
10 Waato kaŋ diyey ye ka kaa, i dede Yesu se hay kulu kaŋ ngey te. A kamba ka kond'ey hala kwaara fo do kaŋ se i ga ne Baytsayda.
11But the crowds knowing [it] followed him; and he received them and spake to them of the kingdom of God, and cured those that had need of healing.
11 Amma waato kaŋ borey marga bay a gaa, i n'a gana. A n'i kubayni ka Irikoy koytara baaro salaŋ i se. Ngey kaŋ yaŋ ga laami nda baani mo, a n'i no baani.
12But the day began to decline, and the twelve came and said to him, Send away the crowd that they may go into the villages around, and [into] the fields, and lodge and find victuals, for here we are in a desert place.
12 Amma wayna sintin ka ye ganda. Kal iway cindi hinka din maan Yesu do ka ne a se: «Ma borey marga sallama, i ma koy kawyey da windey do ne windanta, i ma du ka zumbu, i ma du ŋwaari mo, zama neewo saaji ra no iri go.»
13And he said to them, Give *ye them to eat. And they said, We have not more than five loaves and two fishes, unless *we* should go and buy food for all this people;
13 Amma Yesu ne i se: «Araŋ bumbey m'i no ŋwaari.» I ne: «Iri sinda haŋ kaŋ ga bisa buuru kunkuni gu nda hamisa hinka. Wala iri ma koy ka ŋwaari day borey din kulu se no?»
14for they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down in companies by fifties.
14 (Zama alborey to danga zambar gu cine.) Kala Yesu ne nga talibey se: «W'i gorandi sata-sata, sata kulu ra danga boro waygu cine.»
15And they did so, and made them all sit down.
15 I te yaadin k'i kulu gorandi.
16And taking the five loaves and the two fishes, looking up to heaven he blessed them, and broke and gave to the disciples to set before the crowd.
16 Yesu na buuru guwa da hamisa hinka din sambu ka beena guna ka albarka daŋ i gaa. Waato gaa a n'i ceeri-ceeri k'i no talibey se, i m'i zaban borey se.
17And they all ate and were filled; and there was taken up of what had remained over and above to them in fragments twelve hand-baskets.
17 Borey kulu ŋwa hal i kungu. Woodin banda i na patarmey kaŋ yaŋ cindi margu, ka cilla kayna way cindi hinka toonandi.
18And it came to pass as he was praying alone, his disciples were with him, and he asked them saying, Who do the crowds say that I am?
18 Han fo kaŋ Yesu kamba ka te adduwa, a talibey go a banda. A n'i hã ka ne: «Borey marga goono ga ne ay ya may no?»
19But they answering said, John the baptist; but others, Elias; and others, that one of the old prophets has risen again.
19 Kal i tu ka ne a se: «Yohanna baptisma teekwa. Amma boro fooyaŋ ga ne Iliya, afooyaŋ mo ga ne doŋ annabi fo no ka ye ka tun.»
20And he said to them, But *ye*, who do ye say that I am? And Peter answering said, The Christ of God.
20 A ne i se: «Araŋ binde, araŋ ga ne ay ya may no?» Bitros tu ka ne: «Ni ya Almasihu no, Irikoy wano.»
21But, earnestly charging them, he enjoined [them] to say this to no man,
21 Amma Yesu n'i gongormandi i ma si woodin ci boro kulu se.
22saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up.
22 A ne: «Tilas no kala Boro Izo ma taabi boobo haŋ, arkusey da alfaga beerey da asariya dondonandikoy ma wang'a k'a wi, zaari hinzanta hane mo a ma tun.»
23And he said to [them] all, If any one will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me;
23 A ne i kulu se: «Da boro fo ga ba nga ma kaa ay banda, kal a ma nga boŋ ze jina, ka nga kanjiyaŋ* bundo sambu han kulu k'ay gana.
24for whosoever shall desire to save his life shall lose it, but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake, *he* shall save it.
24 Zama boro kulu kaŋ ga miila nga ma nga fundo faaba, a fundo ga daray. Amma boro kulu kaŋ ga nga fundo nooyandi ay wo sabbay se g'a faaba.
25For what shall a man profit if he shall have gained the whole world, and have destroyed, or come under the penalty of the loss of himself?
25 Zama riiba woofo ka bara boro se, baa day a du ndunnya kulu, amma a fundo ma daray, wala a ma halaci?
26For whosoever shall have been ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of man be ashamed when he shall come in his glory, and [in that] of the Father, and of the holy angels.
26 Boro kulu kaŋ haawi g'a di in d'ay sanney sabbay se, Boro Izo mo, haawi g'a di bora din sabbay se waati kaŋ a ga kaa nga nda Baabo da malayka hanney darza ra.
27But I say unto you of a truth, There are some of those standing here who shall not taste death until they shall have seen the kingdom of God.
27 Amma cimi no ay ga ci araŋ se: afooyaŋ goono ga kay ne kaŋ yaŋ si buuyaŋ taba baa kayna kala nd'i di Irikoy koytara jina.»
28And it came to pass after these words, about eight days, that taking Peter and John and James he went up into a mountain to pray.
28 A go no, sanni wo ciyaŋ banda, danga jirbi ahakku cine, kaŋ Yesu na Bitros da Yohanna da Yakuba sambu ka ziji nd'ey tondi kuuku fo boŋ zama nga ma te adduwa.
29And as he prayed the fashion of his countenance became different and his raiment white [and] effulgent.
29 Waato kaŋ a goono ga adduwa, kal a moyduma alhaalo barmay, a bankaaray mo kwaaray far-far ka nyaale.
30And lo, two men talked with him, who were Moses and Elias,
30 Guna mo, kala boro hinka goono ga salaŋ d'a, kaŋ ga ti Musa nda Iliya.
31who, appearing in glory, spoke of his departure which he was about to accomplish in Jerusalem.
31 I bangay darza ra ka Yesu dirawo misa ciine te, kaŋ a ga ba k'a toonandi Urusalima kwaara ra.
32But Peter and those with him were oppressed with sleep: but having fully awoke up they saw his glory, and the two men who stood with him.
32 Amma Bitrosyaŋ dusungu ka jirbi. Waato kaŋ i moy hay soosay, kal i di Yesu darza da alboro hinka wo wane mo, ngey kaŋ yaŋ go ga kay a banda.
33And it came to pass as they departed from him, Peter said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three tabernacles, one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said.
34But as he was saying these things, there came a cloud and overshadowed them, and they feared as they entered into the cloud:
34 Za a go sanno din ciyaŋ gaa, kala buru fo kaa ka te i se yuumay. Talibey humburu mo waato kaŋ i furo buro ra.
35and there was a voice out of the cloud saying, *This* is my beloved Son: hear him.
35 Jinde fo mo fun buro ra ka ne: «Boro woone ga ti ay Izo suubananta. Wa maa a se.»
36And as the voice was [heard] Jesus was found alone: and *they* kept silence, and told no one in those days any of the things they had seen.
36 Waato kaŋ jinda salaŋ ka ban, i mana di boro kulu kala Yesu hinne. I dangay mo jirbey din ra. I mana ci boro kulu se hay kulu kaŋ ngey di.
37And it came to pass on the following day, when they came down from the mountain, a great crowd met him.
37 A go no, a wane suba, waato kaŋ i goono ga zumbu ka fun tondi kuuko boŋ, kala borey marga bambata fo kuband'a.
38And lo, a man from the crowd cried out saying, Teacher, I beseech thee look upon my son, for he is mine only child:
38 Guna, boro fo kaŋ go marga ra n'a ce ka ne: «Alfa, ay ga ni ŋwaaray, ni m'ay ize aro guna, zama ay ize follonka no.
39and behold, a spirit takes him, and suddenly he cries out, and it tears him with foaming, and with difficulty departs from him after crushing him.
39 Follay fo go no kaŋ g'a di, hala sahãadin a ma kaati! Follay g'a kuubi-kuubi hal a meyo ma kufu kaa. Kala nda cat no a ga fun a banda, a g'a taabandi mo.
40And I besought thy disciples that they might cast him out, and they could not.
40 Ay na ni talibey ŋwaaray i m'a gaaray, amma i mana hin.»
41And Jesus answering said, O unbelieving and perverted generation, how long shall I be with you and suffer you? Bring hither thy son.
41 Yesu tu ka ne: «Ya zamana wo borey kaŋ sinda cimbeeri*, kaŋ yaŋ gonda daa siiro! Kala waatifo no ay ga goro araŋ do? Kala waatifo no ay ga suuru nd'araŋ? Ma kande ni izo neewo.»
42But as he was yet coming, the demon tore him and dragged him all together. And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the child and gave him back to his father.
42 Waati kaŋ a goono ga kaa Yesu do, folla n'a zeeri k'a kuubi-kuubi. Amma Yesu deeni follay laala gaa, ka zanka no baani k'a ye nga baabo se.
43And all were astonished at the glorious greatness of God. And as all wondered at all the things which [Jesus] did, he said to his disciples,
43 Kal i kulu dambara nda Irikoy koytara darza. Waato kaŋ boro kulu goono ga dambara nda hayey wo kulu kaŋ Yesu te, kal a ne nga talibey se:
44Do *ye* let these words sink into your ears. For the Son of man is about to be delivered into men's hands.
44 «Wa naŋ sanney wo ma furo araŋ hangey ra: I ga Boro Izo daŋ borey kambey ra.»
45But they understood not this saying, and it was hid from them that they should not perceive it. And they feared to ask him concerning this saying.
45 Amma i mana faham da sanno wo. A go tugante i se hal i ma si bay a gaa. I humburu mo ngey ma Yesu hã sanno din ciine.
46And a reasoning came in amongst them, who should be [the] greatest of them.
46 Kakaw mo tun i game ra, hala woofo no ga ti i ra ibeero.
47And Jesus, seeing the reasoning of their heart, having taken a little child set it by him,
47 Yesu binde, za kaŋ a bay kakaw kaŋ go i biney ra, na zanka kayna fo sambu k'a kayandi nga jarga.
48and said to them, Whosoever shall receive this little child in my name receives me, and whosoever shall receive me receives him that sent me. For he who is the least among you all, *he* is great.
48 A ne i se: «Boro kulu kaŋ ga zanka kayney wo cine afo ta ay maa ra, ay no a goono ga ta. Boro kulu mo kaŋ g'ay ta, a na nga kaŋ n'ay donton ta. Zama araŋ game ra boro kaŋ kayna ka bisa araŋ kulu, nga no ga beeri.»
49And John answering said, Master, we saw some one casting out demons in thy name, and we forbad him, because he follows not with us.
49 Yohanna tu ka ne a se: «Ay jine bora, iri di boro fo kaŋ goono ga follayyaŋ gaaray ni maa ra. Iri n'a gaay mo, zama a si g'iri gana.»
50And Jesus said to him, Forbid [him] not, for he that is not against you is for you.
50 Yesu ne a se: «Wa s'a gaay, zama boro kaŋ si gaaba nd'araŋ, araŋ do haray no a go.»
51And it came to pass when the days of his receiving up were fulfilled, that *he* stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem.
51 A go no mo, waato kaŋ jirbey maan ka kaa kaŋ i ga Yesu ta beene, kal a na nga jine bare Urusalima do haray ka koy noodin,
52And he sent messengers before his face. And having gone they entered into a village of the Samaritans that they might make ready for him.
52 ka diyayaŋ donton nga jine. Ngey mo koy ka furo Samariya kawye fo ra, zama ngey ma soola a se.
53And they did not receive him, because his face was [turned as] going to Jerusalem.
53 Amma Samariyancey man'a kubayni, zama _i di|_ a goono ga koy Urusalima haray.
54And his disciples James and John seeing [it] said, Lord, wilt thou that we speak [that] fire come down from heaven and consume them, as also Elias did?
54 Waato kaŋ a talibey Yakuba nda Yohanna di woodin, i ne: «Rabbi, ni ga ba iri ma ci danji ma fun beena ra k'i ŋwa, sanda mate kaŋ Iliya te?»
55But turning he rebuked them [and said, Ye know not of what spirit ye are].
55 Amma a bare ka deeni i gaa. A ne: «Araŋ si bay biya kaŋ dumi do araŋ bara.
56And they went to another village.
56 Boro Izo mana kaa zama nga ma borey fundey halaci se bo, amma zama a m'i faaba se.» Gaa no i koy kawye fo do.
57And it came to pass as they went in the way, one said to him, I will follow thee wheresoever thou goest, Lord.
57 Kaŋ i go fonda ra ga koy, boro fo ne a se: «Ay ga ni gana nangu kulu kaŋ ni ga koy.»
58And Jesus said to him, The foxes have holes and the birds of the heaven roosting-places, but the Son of man has not where he may lay his head.
58 Yesu ne a se: «Zoŋey gonda guusuyaŋ, beene curey mo gonda fitiyaŋ, amma Boro Izo sinda nangu kaŋ a ga nga boŋo dake.»
59And he said to another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, allow me to go first and bury my father.
59 A ne boro fo mo se: «Ay gana.» Amma nga wo ne: «Rabbi, ma yadda ay se ay ma koy k'ay baaba fiji jina.»
60But Jesus said to him, Suffer the dead to bury their own dead, but do *thou* go and announce the kingdom of God.
60 Amma Yesu ne a se: «Ma fay da buukoy i ma ngey buukoy fiji. Amma nin wo, ni ma koy ka Irikoy koytara baaru fe.»
61And another also said, I will follow thee, Lord, but first allow me to bid adieu to those at my house.
61 Afo mo ne a se: «Rabbi, ay ga ni gana, amma ma yadda ay ma koy jina ka ci ay fu borey se: ‹Kal ay kaayaŋ.› »
62But Jesus said to him, No one having laid his hand on [the] plough and looking back is fit for the kingdom of God.
62 Amma Yesu ne a se: «Boro kaŋ kamba go farmi jinay gaa, d'a ye ka banda guna, bora mana to Irikoy koytara gaa.»
