1Judge not, that ye may not be judged;
1 Araŋ ma si ciiti, zama i ma si koy ka ciiti araŋ se.
2for with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you.
2 Zama sanda mate kaŋ cine araŋ ga ciiti nd'a, a dumi no i ga ciiti nd'a araŋ se. Neesijo kaŋ araŋ ga neesi nd'a din, nga no i ga neesi nd'a araŋ se.
3But why lookest thou on the mote that is in the eye of thy brother, but observest not the beam that is in thine eye?
3 Ifo se no ni ga sub'izo kaŋ go ni nya-izo mwa ra guna, amma ni baa si nda bundo kaŋ go ni bumbo din mwa ra?
4Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Allow [me], I will cast out the mote from thine eye; and behold, the beam is in thine eye?
4 Wala mate ni ga te ka ne ni nya-ize se: ‹Naŋ ya sub'izo wo kaa ni mwa ra,› a go mo bundu go ni bumbo mwa ra?
5Hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine eye, and then thou wilt see clearly to cast out the mote out of the eye of thy brother.
5 Nin, munafico! ma bundo kaa ni bumbo mwa ra jina, gaa no ni ga di gumo ka sub'izo kaŋ go ni nya-izo mwa ra din kaa.
6Give not that which is holy to the dogs, nor cast your pearls before the swine, lest they trample them with their feet, and turning round rend you.
6 Ma si haŋ kaŋ ga hanan no hansi se. Araŋ ma si luluwey* catu mo gursuney* jine, zama i ma s'i taamu-taamu ngey cey cire, ka bare ka ye k'araŋ tooru-tooru.
7Ask, and it shall be given to you. Seek, and ye shall find. Knock, and it shall be opened to you.
7 Araŋ ma ŋwaaray, i g'araŋ no. Wa ceeci, araŋ ga du. Wa kobi, i ga fiti araŋ se.
8For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened.
8 Zama boro kulu kaŋ ga ŋwaaray, i g'a no, boro kaŋ ga ceeci ga du, boro kaŋ ga kobi mo, i ga fiti a se.
9Or what man is there of you who, if his son shall ask of him a loaf of bread, will give him a stone;
9 Wala boro woofo no araŋ game ra, kaŋ d'a ize n'a ŋwaaray buuru, a g'a no tondi?
10and if he ask a fish, will give him a serpent?
10 Wala d'a n'a ŋwaaray hamisa, a g'a no gondi?
11If therefore *ye*, being wicked, know [how] to give good gifts to your children, how much rather shall your Father who is in the heavens give good things to them that ask of him?
11 Woodin sabbay se mo, d'araŋ wo, kaŋ ga ti boro laaloyaŋ ga waani mate kaŋ araŋ ga nooyaŋ hanney no araŋ izey se nd'a, sanku fa araŋ Baabo kaŋ go beena ra ga hari hanney no borey kaŋ yaŋ ga ŋwaaray a gaa se.
12Therefore all things whatever ye desire that men should do to you, thus do *ye* also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets.
12 Hay kulu mo kaŋ araŋ ga ba borey ma te araŋ se, araŋ mo ma te i se yaadin, zama woodin, nga no ga ti haŋ kaŋ Tawretu* da Annabey* Tirey ci.
13Enter in through the narrow gate, for wide the gate and broad the way that leads to destruction, and many are they who enter in through it.
13 Wa furo me kankamanta ra. Zama meyo kaŋ ga koy halaciyaŋ do din, itafo no, a fonda ganayaŋ mo ga dogon no, borey kaŋ yaŋ ga furo a ra mo ga baa.
14For narrow the gate and straitened the way that leads to life, and they are few who find it.
14 Zama fonda kaŋ ga koy fundi do din, a meyo ga kankam no, fonda mo ga mari, a duukoy mo si baa.
15But beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but within are ravening wolves.
15 Day araŋ ma haggoy da tangari annabey, kaŋ yaŋ goono ga kaa araŋ do da feeji alhaali, amma i biney ra sakaliyaŋ* no kaŋ yaŋ ga kom.
16By their fruits ye shall know them. Do [men] gather a bunch of grapes from thorns, or from thistles figs?
16 I te-goyey do no araŋ g'i bay. Karji nya gaa i ga hin ka reyzin* ize kosu no? Jeejay ize binde, i g'a kaa yo-karji nya gaa, wala?
17So every good tree produces good fruits, but the worthless tree produces bad fruits.
17 Yaadin mo no, tuuri hanno kulu ga ize hanno hay, amma tuuri laalo, ize laalo no a ga hay.
18A good tree cannot produce bad fruits, nor a worthless tree produce good fruits.
18 Tuuri hanno si ize laalo hay. Tuuri laalo mo si ize hanno hay.
19Every tree not producing good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.
19 Tuuri kulu kaŋ si ize hanno hay, i g'a wi k'a catu danji ra.
20By their fruits then surely ye shall know them.
20 I izey gaa no araŋ g'i bay.
21Not every one who says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but he that does the will of my Father who is in the heavens.
21 Manti boro kulu kaŋ ga ne ay se: ‹Rabbi! Rabbi!› no ga furo beene koytara ra bo, kala day boro kaŋ ga te haŋ kaŋ ay Baaba ga ba, nga kaŋ go beena ra.
22Many shall say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied through *thy* name, and through *thy* name cast out demons, and through *thy* name done many works of power?
22 Hano din hane boro boobo ga ne ay se: ‹Rabbi, Rabbi! Ni maa ra no iri na annabitaray te. Ni maa ra no iri na follayyaŋ gaaray, ni maa ra mo no iri na dabari goy boobo te. Wala manti yaadin no?›
23and then will I avow unto them, I never knew you. Depart from me, workers of lawlessness.
23 Saaya din ra ay mo ga ne i se: ‹Ay s'araŋ bay kulu-kulu! Araŋ ma fay d'ay, araŋ goy laalo teekoy.›
24Whoever therefore hears these my words and does them, I will liken him to a prudent man, who built his house upon the rock;
24 Boro kulu kaŋ ga maa ay sanney wo k'i te mo, i g'a himandi boro kaŋ gonda laakal, kaŋ na nga fu cina tondi boŋ.
25and the rain came down, and the streams came, and the winds blew and fell upon that house, and it did not fall, for it had been founded upon the rock.
25 Beene hari kaŋ, goorey to kal i ga mun, haw mo tun ka fuwo kar. Amma a mana kaŋ, zama i n'a sinji tondi boŋ.
26And every one who hears these my words and does not do them, he shall be likened to a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand;
26 Boro kulu mo kaŋ ga maa ay sanni woone yaŋ kaŋ s'i te mo, i g'a himandi boro kaŋ sinda laakal, kaŋ na nga fu cina taasi boŋ.
27and the rain came down, and the streams came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, and it fell, and its fall was great.
27 Hari kaŋ, goorey to kal i ga mun, haw mo tun ka fuwo kar. A na fuwo zinji k'a zeeri. A kaŋyaŋo ga laala gumo.»
28And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished these words, the crowds were astonished at his doctrine,
28 Kaŋ Yesu na sanney din kulu ban, borey dambara nd'a dondonandiyaŋo,
29for he taught them as having authority, and not as their scribes.
