Darby's Translation

Micah

7

1Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer-fruits, as the grape-gleanings of the vintage. There is no cluster to eat; there is no early fruit [which] my soul desired.
1 Kaari ay! Zama ay ciya sanda boro kaŋ go ga kaydiya nafa margu-margu, Sanda reyzin* heemar nafa koobuko cine. Reyzin* fafa si no koyne kaŋ i ga haŋ, Jeejay boŋ-jina si no mo kaŋ ay bina ga laami.
2The godly [man] hath perished out of the land, and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood, they hunt every man his brother with a net.
2 Irikoy ganako ban laabo ra, Adilante* si no borey game ra. I goono ga lamba zama ngey ma kuri mun, I afo kulu ga nga nya-izo hirri da taaru.
3Both hands are for evil, to do it well. The prince asketh, and the judge [is there] for a reward; and the great [man] uttereth his soul's greed: and [together] they combine it.
3 I kambey ga kaan laala teeyaŋ gaa. Koy-ize ga me-daabu ceeci, Alkaali mo go soolante nga m'a ta se. Boro beeri goono ga zamba miila salaŋ. Yaadin cine no i goono ga te me fo ngey da care game ra.
4The best of them is as a briar; the most upright, [worse] than a thorn-fence. The day of thy watchmen, thy visitation is come; now shall be their perplexity.
4 I ra boro hanna kaŋ bisa i kulu din, Nga da karji no ga saba. Boro kaŋ bisa i kulu adilitara jaase karji kali laalayaŋ. Ni alhakko zaaro, Zaari kaŋ ni batukoy ga kaa, a ga kaa. Sohõ i kankamo to.
5Believe ye not in a companion, put not confidence in a familiar friend: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.
5 Wa si naanay gorokasin gaa, Araŋ ma si de araŋ coro gaa mo. Ma ni bumbo meyo haggoy ni ma si ci waybora kaŋ ga kani ni gande ra din se.
6For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law: a man's enemies are the men of his own household.
6 Zama ize aru ga donda nga baaba, Ize way mo ga ture nga nya gaa, Ize aru wande ga ture nga anzuray waybora gaa. Boro windi borey no ga ciya boro se ibarey.
7But as for me, I will look unto Jehovah; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.
7 Amma ay ya, Rabbi se no ay ga hangan. Ay ga Irikoy ay Faabakwa batu, Ay Irikoyo ga maa ay se mo.
8Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: though I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, Jehovah shall be a light unto me.
8 Ya ay ibara, ma si farhã ay boŋ. Baa ay kaŋ, ay ga ye ka tun koyne. Baa ay goro kubay ra, Rabbi ga ciya ay se kaari.
9I will bear the indignation of Jehovah -- for I have sinned against him -- until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light; I shall behold his righteousness.
9 Ay ga suuru nda Rabbi dukuro, Zama ay na zunubi te a se, Hal a ma kaa ka faasa ay se, Ka cimi ciiti te ay se mo. A g'ay fattandi kaari do haray, Ay g'a adilitara guna mo.
10And mine enemy shall see [it], and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is Jehovah thy God? Mine eyes shall behold her; now shall she be trodden down, as the mire of the streets.
10 Waato din gaa ay ibara ga di. Waybora kaŋ ne ay se: «Man no Rabbi ni Irikoyo go?» A ga haaw mo. Oho, ay ga mo daaru k'a guna, Sahãadin i g'a taamu-taamu sanda fonda ra potor-potor cine.
11In the day when thy walls shall be built, on that day shall the established limit recede.
11 Ni birni cinaro cinayaŋ zaaro ga kaa! Zaari woodin ra i ga ni hirro sosorandi ka kond'a nangu mooro.
12In that day they shall come to thee from Assyria and the cities of Egypt, and from Egypt to the river, and from sea to sea, and from mountain to mountain.
12 Zaari woodin ra i ga kaa ni do ka fun Assiriya do haray da Misira birney do haray, Za Misira gaa kal a ma koy Ufratis isa gaa, Za teeku fo gaa kala teeku fa gaa koyne, Za tondi kuuko gaa kala tondi kuuku fa gaa.
13But the land shall be desolate because of them that dwell therein, for the fruit of their doings.
13 Kulu nda yaadin laabo ga ciya kurmu borey kaŋ goono ga goro a ra yaŋ din sabbay se, I goyey banando sabbay se mo.
14Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine inheritance, dwelling alone in the forest, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.
14 Ma ni borey kuru nda ni kuray goobo. Ni kuro kaŋ ni tubu, Ngey kaŋ yaŋ goono ga goro nda faaji saaji tuuri zugey ra Karmel bindo ra, I ma kuru Basan da Jileyad ra sanda waato jirbey cine.
15-- As in the days of thy coming forth out of the land of Egypt, will I shew them marvellous things.
15 Ay ga dambara hariyaŋ cabe ni se, Sanda jirbey kaŋ ni fun Misira laabo ra din cine.
16-- The nations shall see, and be ashamed for all their might: they shall lay [their] hand upon [their] mouth, their ears shall be deaf.
16 Dumi cindey ga di, Haawi g'i di mo baa kaŋ i gonda hina. I ga kambe daŋ ngey meyey gaa, i hangey mo ga lutu.
17They shall lick dust like the serpent; like crawling things of the earth, they shall come trembling forth from their close places. They shall turn with fear to Jehovah our God, and shall be afraid because of thee.
17 I ga kusa loogu sanda gondi cine, Sanda ganda fanakey cine, I ga fatta ngey guusey ra nda jijiriyaŋ. I ga kaa Rabbi iri Irikoyo do da humburkumay, I ga humburu nin mo.
18Who is a ùGod like unto thee, that forgiveth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? He retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in loving-kindness.
18 May no ga ti Irikoy sanda ni cine, Kaŋ ga zunubi yaafa, Nga kaŋ na nga wane jama kaŋ cindi yaŋ din murteyaŋo daabu? A si nga futa gaay hal abada bo, Zama a ga maa suuji kaani.
19He will yet again have compassion on us, he will tread under foot our iniquities: and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
19 A ga ye ka bare ka bakar iri se. A g'iri taaley taamu nga cey cire, Daahir ni g'i zunubey kulu furu teeku guusuyaŋey ra.
20Thou wilt perform truth to Jacob, loving-kindness to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers, from the days of old.
20 Ni ga cimi toonandi Yakuba se, Suuji mo Ibrahim se, Haŋ kaŋ ni ze d'a iri kaayey se din za doŋ zamaney ra.
