1{A Song of degrees.} Unto thee do I lift up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.
1 Zijiyaŋ dooni no. Ya beeney ra gorokwa, nin no ay go ga guna.
2Behold, as the eyes of servants [look] unto the hand of their masters, as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress, so our eyes [are directed] to Jehovah our God, until he be gracious unto us.
2 A go, sanda mate kaŋ cine bannyayaŋ moy go ngey koyo kambe do haray, Wala sanda koŋŋa kaŋ a moy go nga fu-nya kambe do haray, Yaadin cine no iri moy go Rabbi iri Irikoyo do haray, Hal a ma gomni te iri se.
3Be gracious unto us, O Jehovah, be gracious unto us; for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.
3 Ya Rabbi, ma gomni goy te iri se. Ma gomni goy te iri se zama iri kungu nda donda-caray gumo.
4Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, with the contempt of the proud.
4 Iri laami bu gumo da arzakantey hahaarayaŋey, Da boŋbeeraykoyey donda-cara mo.
