1{A Song of degrees.} When Jehovah turned the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.
1 Zijiyaŋ dooni no. Saaya kaŋ Rabbi ye ka kande Sihiyona izey kaŋ koy tamtaray, Iri ciya sanda boro kaŋ goono ga hindiri.
2Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with rejoicing: then said they among the nations, Jehovah hath done great things for them.
2 Alwaato din no iri meyey ga to da haari, Iri deeney mo gonda farhã baytuyaŋ. Kala dumi cindey game ra i ne: «Rabbi na muraadu beeriyaŋ te i se.»
3Jehovah hath done great things for us; [and] we are joyful.
3 Lalle, muraaduyaŋ kaŋ ga beeri no Rabbi te iri se, Iri mo, iri goono ga maa kaani.
4Turn our captivity, O Jehovah, as the streams in the south.
4 Ya Rabbi, ma ye ka kande iri, iri ma fun tamtaray, Sanda Negeb* goorey hari zurey cine.
5They that sow in tears shall reap with rejoicing:
5 Borey kaŋ ga duma nda mundi ga wi da farhã.
6He goeth forth and weepeth, bearing seed for scattering; he cometh again with rejoicing, bearing his sheaves.
6 Bora kaŋ goono ga dira, a ga hẽ, A dumayaŋ gaaso go a se ga jare, A ga ye ka kaa da farhã kuuwayaŋ, A go ga kande nga bokey.
