Psalms

142

1{An instruction of David; when he was in the cave: a prayer.} I cry unto Jehovah with my voice: with my voice unto Jehovah do I make supplication.
1 Dawda baytu fo kaŋ a te waato kaŋ a go tondi guuso ra. Adduwa mo no.
2I pour out my plaint before him; I shew before him my trouble.
2 Ay ga hẽ Rabbi gaa d'ay jinda. Ay jinde no ay g'ay ŋwaarayyaŋ hẽeney te d'a Rabbi gaa.
3When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then *thou* knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they hidden a snare for me.
3 Ay g'ay hẽeno gusam a jine, Ay g'ay taabo cabe a se mo.
4Look on the right hand and see; there is no man that knoweth me: refuge hath failed me; no man careth for my soul.
4 Waati kaŋ ay biya kasam ay ra, Ni jin k'ay fonda bay. Ay fonda kaŋ ay ga gana din, I na kumsay tugu ay se a ra.
5I cried unto thee, Jehovah; I said, Thou art my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.
5 Ay guna ka di ay kambe ŋwaaro gaa haray, Boro si no kaŋ ga saal ay. Tuguyaŋ do si no ay se, Boro si no kaŋ g'ay fundo saal.
6Attend unto my cry, for I am brought very low; deliver me from my persecutors, for they are stronger than I.
6 Ya Rabbi, ay na ni ce. Ay ne: «Nin no ga ti ay koruyaŋ do, Nin no ga ti ay baa mo fundikooney laabo ra.
7Bring my soul out of prison, that I may celebrate thy name. The righteous shall surround me, because thou dealest bountifully with me.
