¹{To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David.} The heavens declare the glory of ùGod; and the expanse sheweth the work of his hands.

¹ Doonkoy jine bora se. Dawda wane no.

²Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.

³There is no speech and there are no words, yet their voice is heard.

³ Zaari ka kaa zaari no i go ga salaŋ, Cin ka kaa cin mo i go ga bayray cabe.

⁴Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their language to the extremity of the world. In them hath he set a tent for the sun,

⁴ I sinda ciinay wala sanni, boro si maa i jinde mo.

⁵And he is as a bridegroom going forth from his chamber; he rejoiceth as a strong man to run the race.

⁵ I yooja koy hala laabey kulu ra, I sanney mo to hala ndunnya me. I ra no a na bukka te wayna se,

⁶His going forth is from the end of the heavens, and his circuit unto the ends of it; and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

⁶ A ga hima sanda arhiiji kaŋ goono ga fun nga fu ra. A ga farhã sanda boro gaabikooni kaŋ goono ga yonay te.

⁷The law of Jehovah is perfect, restoring the soul; the testimony of Jehovah is sure, making wise the simple;

⁷ Wayna funyaŋ, beena me fa gaa no, A gana ka bisa yaŋ mo ga koy beena me fa gaa. Hay kulu si no kaŋ ga tugu wayna korno se.

⁸The precepts of Jehovah are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of Jehovah is pure, enlightening the eyes;

⁸ Rabbi asariya ya toonante no, a ga fundi ye. Rabbi seeda ya tabbatante no, A ga naŋ boro kaŋ sinda bayray ma ciya laakalkooni.

⁹The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring for ever; the judgments of Jehovah are truth, they are righteous altogether:

⁹ Rabbi hin sanney ya kayanteyaŋ no, I ga bine kaanandi. Rabbi lordo ya hanante no, a ga mo no kaari.

¹⁰They are more precious than gold, yea, than much fine gold; and sweeter than honey and the dropping of the honeycomb.

¹⁰ Rabbi humburkumay gonda hananyaŋ, A ga duumi mo no hal abada. Rabbi ciitey ya cimikoyyaŋ no, Adilitaraykoyyaŋ mo no, i kulu.

¹¹Moreover, by them is thy servant enlightened; in keeping them there is great reward.

¹¹ I ga beejandi ka bisa wura, Oho, ka bisa wura hanno boobo. I bisa yu da yu fanta kaani.

¹²Who understandeth [his] errors? Purify me from secret [faults].

¹² I do no i ga ni tamo kaa baaru, I haggoyyaŋ ra mo no gonda alhakku beeri.

¹³Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous [sins]; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be perfect, and I shall be innocent from great transgression.

¹³ May no ga hin ka nga darayyaŋey bay? Ni m'ay taali tugantey yaafa.

¹⁴Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O Jehovah, my rock, and my redeemer.

¹⁴ Ma ay, ni tamo haggoy k'ay wa da haw-ka-te zunubey. Ma si naŋ i ma du hin ay boŋ. Waato din gaa no ay ga ciya toonante. Ay ga ciya taali si mo zunubi beeri gaa.

¹⁵ Ya Rabbi, ay tondo d'ay fansakwa, Naŋ ay me sanney d'ay bina miiley ma ciya taayaŋ hari ni jine.
