1{To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David.} Jehovah answer thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob protect thee;
1 Doonkoy jine bora se. Dawda wane no.
2May he send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
2 Rabbi ma tu ni se kankami alwaati ra, Yakuba Irikoyo maa ma ni dake beene,
3Remember all thine oblations, and accept thy burnt-offering; Selah.
3 A ma gaakasinay samba ni se kaŋ ga fun Nangu Hananta ra, A ma ni gaa da gaakasinay kaŋ ga fun Sihiyona ra,
4Grant thee according to thy heart, and fulfil all thy counsels.
4 A ma fongu ni ŋwaari sargayey kulu gaa, A ma ni sargay kaŋ i ga ton ta ni se. (Wa dangay)
5We will triumph in thy salvation, and in the name of our God will we set up our banners. Jehovah fulfil all thy petitions!
5 A ma ni bina muraado feeri ni se, A ma ni saawara kulu toonandi mo.
6Now know I that Jehovah saveth his anointed; he answereth him from the heavens of his holiness, with the saving strength of his right hand.

7Some make mention of chariots, and some of horses, but we of the name of Jehovah our God.

8They are bowed down and fallen; but we are risen and stand upright.
8 Boro fooyaŋ, torkey no i ga fooma nd'a, Afooyaŋ mo bariyey, Amma iri wo, Rabbi iri Irikoyo maa no iri ga fooma nd'a.
9Save, Jehovah! Let the king answer us in the day we call.
9 Ngey wo gungum, i kaŋ. Amma iri wo tun, iri goono ga kay.
10 Ya Rabbi, ma faaba te. Koyo ma tu iri se waati kaŋ iri ga ce.
