34

1{[A Psalm] of David; when he changed his behaviour before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he departed.} I will bless Jehovah at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
1 Dawda wane no waato kaŋ a na nga boŋ himandi follokom Abimelek jine, nga mo n'a gaaray, hal a dira.
2My soul shall make its boast in Jehovah: the meek shall hear, and rejoice.
2 Ay ga Rabbi sifa alwaati kulu, A saabuyaŋo mo ga goro ay me ra duumi.
3Magnify Jehovah with me, and let us exalt his name together.
3 Ay fundo ga fooma nda Rabbi. Boro kaŋ sinda boŋbeeray ga maa, a ga farhã mo.
4I sought Jehovah, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.
4 Wa Rabbi beerandi ay banda, Iri m'a maa beerandi gumo mo care banda.
5They looked unto him, and were enlightened, and their faces were not confounded.
5 Ay na Rabbi ŋwaaray, a tu ay se mo. A n'ay soolam mo ka kaa ay humburkuma kulu ra.
6This afflicted one called, and Jehovah heard [him], and saved him out of all his troubles.
6 I guna a do haray, i kaari, I moydumey mo, haawi s'i di abada.
7The angel of Jehovah encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
7 Taabante woone hẽ, Rabbi maa a se mo, A n'a faaba k'a kaa nga taabey kulu ra.
8Taste and see that Jehovah is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him!
8 Rabbi malayka ga gata sinji borey kaŋ yaŋ ga humbur'a windanta, a g'i faaba mo.
9Fear Jehovah, ye his saints; for there is no want to them that fear him.
9 Wa taba ka maa kaŋ Rabbi ya gomnikoy no. Albarkante no boro kaŋ ga de a gaa.
10The young lions are in need and suffer hunger; but they that seek Jehovah shall not want any good.
10 Ya araŋ a hanantey, wa humburu Rabbi. Zama jaŋay si no borey kaŋ yaŋ ga humbur'a se.
11Come, ye sons, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of Jehovah.
11 Muusu beeri izey ga jaŋ, i ga maa haray mo, Amma borey kaŋ yaŋ ga Rabbi ceeci si jaŋ hari hanno kulu.
12What man is he that desireth life, [and] loveth days, that he may see good?
12 Ya araŋ zankey, wa kaa, wa hanga jeeri ay se, Ay g'araŋ dondonandi Rabbi humburkumay.
13Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile;
13 May no boro kaŋ ga ba fundi, Kaŋ ga ba nga ma di jirbi hanney?
14Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
14 To! Kal ni ma ni deena gaay laala ciyaŋ gaa, Ni meyo mo ma si gulinci salaŋ.
15The eyes of Jehovah are upon the righteous, and his ears are toward their cry;
15 Ma fay da goy laalo ka ihanno te, Ma laakal kanay ceeci k'a gana mo.
16The face of Jehovah is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth:
16 Rabbi moy go adilantey gaa, A hangey mo go feerante i hẽeney se.
17[The righteous] cry, and Jehovah heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
17 Rabbi moyduma ga bare ka gaaba da goy laalo teekoy, Zama nga m'i fonguyaŋ tuusu ndunnya boŋ.
18Jehovah is nigh to those that are of a broken heart, and saveth them that are of a contrite spirit.
18 Adilantey ga hẽ, Rabbi ga maa, A g'i soolam ka kaa i taabey kulu ra mo.
19Many are the adversities of the righteous, but Jehovah delivereth him out of them all:
19 Rabbi ga maan bine-saray-koyey, A ga borey kaŋ yaŋ gonda bine suugay faaba.
20He keepeth all his bones; not one of them is broken.
20 Adilante masiibey wo iboobo no, Day Rabbi g'a soolam ka kaa i kulu ra.
21Evil shall destroy the wicked; and they that hate the righteous shall bear their guilt.
21 A ga haggoy d'a biriyey kulu, I ra baa afolloŋ si ceeri.
22Jehovah redeemeth the soul of his servants; and none of them that trust in him shall bear guilt.
22 Laala ga boro laaley wi, Borey kaŋ yaŋ ga konna adilantey mo, ciiti g'i zeeri.
23 Rabbi ga nga tamey fundey fansa. Borey kaŋ yaŋ ga de a gaa mo, Ciiti si baa afolloŋ zeeri i ra.
