53

1{To the chief Musician. On Mahalath: an instruction. Of David.} The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God! They have corrupted themselves, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
1 Doonkoy jine bora se. I m'a doon da seese karyaŋ. Dawda baytu fo no.
2God looked down from the heavens upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
2 Saamo ga ne nga bina ra: «Irikoy si no.» I fumbu; i na adilitaray-jaŋay te mo, fanta wane. Goy hanno teeko si no, baa afo.
3Every one of them is gone back, they are together become corrupt: there is none that doeth good, not even one.
3 Irikoy go hala beene, a na Adam-izey guna ganda, Nga ma di hala fahamante go no kaŋ ga Irikoy ceeci.
4Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, eating up my people [as] they eat bread? they call not upon God.
4 I afo kulu kamba, banda, i fumbu care banda. Goy hanno teeko si no, baa afolloŋ si no.
5There were they in great fear, where no fear was; for God scattereth the bones of him that encampeth against thee. Thou hast put [them] to shame, for God hath despised them.
5 Laala goy-teerey wo, i sinda bayray no? Ngey kaŋ g'ay borey ŋwa sanda mate kaŋ cine i ga buuru ŋwa, I si Irikoy ce mo.
6Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God turneth again the captivity of his people, Jacob shall be glad, Israel shall rejoice.
