1{To the chief Musician. On stringed instruments: an instruction. Of David; when the Ziphites came, and said to Saul, Is not David hiding himself with us?} O God, by thy name save me, and by thy strength do me justice.
1 Doonkoy jine bora se. I m'a doon da moolo beeri karyaŋ. Dawda baytu fo no kaŋ a te
2O God, hear my prayer; give ear to the words of my mouth.
2 waato kaŋ Zif kwaara borey koy ka ci Sawulu se ka ne: «Ni mana bay kaŋ iri game ra no Dawda bara ga tugu?»
3For strangers are risen up against me, and the violent seek after my life: they have not set God before them. Selah.
3 Ya Irikoy, m'ay faaba nda ni maa. Ma ciiti ay se mo ni hino ra.
4Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is among them that uphold my soul.
4 Ya Irikoy, ma maa ay adduwa, Ma hanga jeeri ay me sanney se.
5He will requite evil to mine enemies: in thy truth cut them off.
5 Zama yawyaŋ tun ay gaa, Toonyanteyaŋ mo n'ay fundo ceeci, I mana Irikoy daŋ ngey jine mo. (Wa dangay)
6I will freely sacrifice unto thee; I will praise thy name, O Jehovah, because it is good.
6 A go, Irikoy ya ay gaako no, Ay Koyo wo ay fundo gaayko no.
7For he hath delivered me out of all trouble; and mine eye hath seen [its desire] upon mine enemies.
7 A g'ay ibarey bana nda ngey laala. Ni m'i halaci ni naanayo ra.
8 Ay ga sargay da nooyaŋ te ni se, bine yadda wane yaŋ. Ya Rabbi, ay ga saabu ni maa se, Zama ni ya ihanno no.
9 Zama a n'ay kaa taabi kulu ra, Ay mwa mo di ay muraadey kulu feeri ay ibarey boŋ.
