6

1What then shall we say? Should we continue in sin that grace may abound?
1 Ifo no iri ga ne binde? Iri ma soobay ka zunubi te zama gomni ma baa no?
2Far be the thought. We who have died to sin, how shall we still live in it?
2 Abada! Iri kaŋ bu zunubi se, mate no iri ga te ka ye ka funa a ra koyne?
3Are you ignorant that we, as many as have been baptised unto Christ Jesus, have been baptised unto his death?
3 Wala araŋ mana bay kaŋ iri kulu kaŋ i na baptisma* te iri se Yesu Almasihu ra, a buuyaŋo ra no i na baptisma din te iri se?
4We have been buried therefore with him by baptism unto death, in order that, even as Christ has been raised up from among [the] dead by the glory of the Father, so *we* also should walk in newness of life.
4 Yaadin gaa, baptisma do no i n'iri fiji a banda buuyaŋ ra. Zama sanda mate kaŋ cine Irikoy na Almasihu tunandi ka kaa buukoy game ra Baabo darza do, yaadin no iri mo ma iri goray te fundi tajo ra.
5For if we are become identified with [him] in the likeness of his death, so also we shall be of [his] resurrection;
5 Zama d'iri margu nda Almasihu ka bu a banda misa ra, yaadin gaa iri ga margu nd'a a tunyaŋo ra mo.
6knowing this, that our old man has been crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be annulled, that we should no longer serve sin.
6 Iri ga bay kaŋ Irikoy n'iri boro zeena kanji Almasihu banda, zama a ma zunubi gaahamo dabaro halaci, hal iri ma si ye ka bara zunubi tamtaray ra koyne.
7For he that has died is justified from sin.
7 Zama boro kaŋ bu fun zunubi tamtaray ra.
8Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him,
8 Amma za kaŋ iri bu Almasihu banda, iri ga cimandi kaŋ iri ga funa a banda mo.
9knowing that Christ having been raised up from among [the] dead dies no more: death has dominion over him no more.
9 Iri bay mo kaŋ Almasihu kaŋ Irikoy tunandi a ma fun buukoy game ra, a si ye ka bu koyne, buuyaŋ sinda dabari kulu a boŋ.
10For in that he has died, he has died to sin once for all; but in that he lives, he lives to God.
10 Zama kaŋ a bu, a bu zunubi se sorro folloŋ. Amma fundo kaŋ a goono ga funa nd'a, a goono g'a funa Irikoy se.
11So also *ye*, reckon yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.
11 Yaadin no araŋ mo: w'araŋ boŋ lasaabu buukoyaŋ zunubi se, amma fundikooniyaŋ Irikoy se Almasihu Yesu ra.
12Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body to obey its lusts.
12 Yaadin gaa, wa si naŋ zunubi ma soobay ka koytaray ŋwa araŋ gaahamey kaŋ ga aniya ka bu ra, hal araŋ m'i ibaay laaley gana.
13Neither yield your members instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but yield yourselves to God as alive from among [the] dead, and your members instruments of righteousness to God.
14For sin shall not have dominion over *you*, for ye are not under law but under grace.
14 Zama zunubi si ye ka koytaray ŋwa araŋ boŋ, zama araŋ si asariya cire, amma gomno cire no araŋ go.
15What then? should we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Far be the thought.
15 Mate no binde? Za kaŋ iri si asariya dabaro ra, amma day gomni mayra ra, woodin se no iri ga zunubi te? Abada!
16Know ye not that to whom ye yield yourselves bondmen for obedience, ye are bondmen to him whom ye obey, whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
17But thanks [be] to God, that ye were bondmen of sin, but have obeyed from the heart the form of teaching into which ye were instructed.
17 Amma iri ma Irikoy saabu! Baa kaŋ waato araŋ te zunubi se bannyayaŋ, sohõ araŋ na dondonandiyaŋo dumi gana nda bine folloŋ kaŋ gaa i n'araŋ talfi.
18Now, having got your freedom from sin, ye have become bondmen to righteousness.
18 Irikoy n'araŋ fansa zunubi gaa k'araŋ ciya adilitaray se bannyayaŋ.
19I speak humanly on account of the weakness of your flesh. For even as ye have yielded your members in bondage to uncleanness and to lawlessness unto lawlessness, so now yield your members in bondage to righteousness unto holiness.
19 Ay go ga salaŋ da boro misa, gazeyaŋo kaŋ go araŋ Adam-ize daa laala gaa sabbay se. Mate kaŋ cine waato din araŋ n'araŋ gaaham jarey nooyandi sanda bannyayaŋ ziibi se, da laala se ka koy to laala boobo teeyaŋ gaa, yaadin mo no sohõ kal araŋ m'araŋ gaaham jarey nooyandi i ma ciya bannyayaŋ adilitaray se ka koy to hananyaŋ gaa.
20For when ye were bondmen of sin ye were free from righteousness.
20 Zama waato kaŋ araŋ goro bannyayaŋ zunubi se, araŋ si adilitaray se tamtaray sanney ra.
21What fruit therefore had ye *then* in the things of which ye are *now* ashamed? for the end of *them* [is] death.
21 Albarka fo dumi no araŋ du waato din hayey din ra kaŋ sohõ i haawi goono g'araŋ di? Zama hayey din kokora ya buuyaŋ no.
22But *now*, having got your freedom from sin, and having become bondmen to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end eternal life.
22 Amma sohõ kaŋ Irikoy n'araŋ fansa zunubi gaa, hal araŋ ciya a se bannyayaŋ, araŋ gonda araŋ albarka ka koy to hananyaŋ gaa. A kokora mo fundi hal abada no.
23For the wages of sin [is] death; but the act of favour of God, eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
23 Zama zunubi alhakko ya buuyaŋ no, amma Irikoy gomni nooyaŋo ya fundi hal abada no, iri Rabbi Almasihu Yesu ra.
