¹And the word of Jehovah of hosts came [unto me], saying,

¹ Rabbi Kundeykoyo sanno kaa ay do ka ne:

²Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: I am jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I am jealous for her with great fury.

² Yaa no Rabbi Kundeykoyo ci: Ay ga canse Sihiyona gaa da canse korno. Ay g'a canse mo da futay korno gumo.

³Thus saith Jehovah: I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; and Jerusalem shall be called, The city of truth; and the mountain of Jehovah of hosts, The holy mountain.

³ Rabbi ne: Ay ga ye ka kaa Sihiyona do, ay ga goro mo Urusalima bindo ra. I ga ne Urusalima se Cimi Birni. Rabbi Kundeykoyo tondo mo, i ga ne a se Tondi Hananta.

⁴Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: There shall yet old men and old women sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each one with his staff in his hand for multitude of days.

⁴ Yaa no Rabbi Kundeykoyo ci: Arkusu zeeney, alborey da wayborey ga ye ka goro koyne Urusalima fondey ra, afo kulu nda nga goobo nga kambe ra i jiirey baayaŋo sabbay se.

⁵And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof.

⁵ Birno fondey mo ga to da zankayaŋ, arwasey da wandiyey ga fooru a fondey ra.

⁶Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: If it be wonderful in the eyes of the remnant of this people in those days, should it also be wonderful in mine eyes? saith Jehovah of hosts.

⁶ Yaa no Rabbi Kundeykoyo ci: Da woodin dambara hari no borey kaŋ cindi sohõ zamana woone ra se, dambara hari nooya ay se, wala? Yaadin no Rabbi Kundeykoyo ci.

⁷Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Behold, I will save my people from the east country and from the west country;

⁷ Yaa no Rabbi Kundeykoyo ci: Guna, wayna funay da wayna kaŋay haray laabey ra mo, ay g'ay borey faaba i ma kaa.

⁸and I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.

⁸ Ay ga ye ka kand'ey Urusalima. I ga goro a bindo ra mo. I ga ciya ay jama, ay mo ga ciya i Irikoyo naaney da adilitaray ra.

⁹Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Let your hands be strong, ye that hear in these days these words by the mouth of the prophets, that were in the day that the foundation of the house of Jehovah of hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.

⁹ Yaa no Rabbi Kundeykoyo ci: Araŋ kaŋ goono ga maa jirbi woone yaŋ ra sanney wo annabey me ra, kaŋ yaŋ i ci alwaato kaŋ ra i na Rabbi Kundeykoyo windo ganda daba sinji, sududuyaŋ windo, araŋ kambey ma te gaabi zama i m'a cina se.

¹⁰For before those days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; and there was no peace for him that went out or that came in, because of the distress: for I let loose all men, every one against his neighbour.

¹⁰ Zama hala jirbi woodin yaŋ kaa i mana boro wala alman sufuray. Baani si no mo boro kaŋ ga furo wala boro kaŋ ga fatta se a ibarey sabbay se. Zama ay na borey kulu kubandi care gaa, afo kulu ga gaaba nda nga gorokasin.

¹¹But now I will not be unto the remnant of this people as in the former days, saith Jehovah of hosts;

¹¹ Amma baa sohõ ay si ciya borey kaŋ cindi din se sanda mate kaŋ ay go doŋ jiirey ra cine. Yaadin no Rabbi Kundeykoyo ci.

¹²for the seed shall be prosperous, the vine shall give its fruit, and the ground shall give its produce, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these [things].

¹² Zama dumar'ize ga te albarka, reyzin* nya ga nga izey hay, laabo ga nga nafa kaa taray, beena mo ga nga harandaŋo te. Ay ga naŋ mo borey kaŋ yaŋ cindi wo, i ma hayey wo kulu tubu.

¹³And it shall come to pass, like as ye were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so will I save you, and ye shall be a blessing: fear ye not, let your hands be strong.

¹³ A ga ciya mo, sanda mate kaŋ cine araŋ bara laaliyaŋ hari dumi cindey game ra, ya araŋ, Yahuda da Israyla dumo, yaadin cine mo no ay g'araŋ faaba hal araŋ ma ciya albarka hari. Wa si humburu bo, amma araŋ kambey ma te gaabi.

¹⁴For thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Like as I thought to do you evil when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith Jehovah of hosts, and I repented not;

¹⁴ Zama yaa no Rabbi Kundeykoyo goono ga ci: Sanda mate kaŋ cine ay miila ay ma hasaraw te araŋ se, waato kaŋ araŋ kaayey n'ay zokoti, ay mo, yan'ay miila barmay bo. Yaadin no Rabbi Kundeykoyo ci.

¹⁵so again have I thought in these days to do good unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.

¹⁵ Yaadin cine mo no sohõ jirbi woone yaŋ ra ay gonda miila ay ma Urusalima da Yahuda dumo boriyandi. Araŋ ma si humburu bo.

¹⁶These are the things that ye shall do: Speak truth every one with his neighbour; execute truth and the judgment of peace in your gates;

¹⁶ Haŋ kaŋ araŋ ga te neeya: kala boro fo kulu ma cimi ci nga gorokasino se. Wa ciiti nda cimi hala laakal kanay ma bara araŋ faadey ra.

¹⁷and let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are [things] that I hate, saith Jehovah.

¹⁷ Araŋ afo kulu mo ma si laala saaware nga bina ra nga gorokasin boŋ. Araŋ ma si ba tangari boŋ zeyaŋ mo, zama woodin yaŋ kulu no ay ga konn'ey. Yaadin no Rabbi ci.

¹⁸And the word of Jehovah of hosts came unto me, saying,

¹⁸ Rabbi Kundeykoyo sanno kaa ay do koyne ka ne:

¹⁹Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: The fast of the fourth [month] and the fast of the fifth, and the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall be to the house of Judah joy and gladness, and cheerful gatherings. Love ye then truth and peace.

¹⁹ Yaa no Rabbi Kundeykoyo ci: Handu taacanta mehawo, da handu gu wano, da handu iyya wano, da handu way wano mo, i ga bare ka ciya farhã da bine kaani hari Yahuda dumo se. I ga ciya batu kaano yaŋ. Woodin sabbay se no araŋ ma ba cimi da laakal kanay.

²⁰Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Yet again shall there come peoples, and the inhabitants of many cities;

²⁰ Yaa no Rabbi Kundeykoyo ci: Han fo ne ka koy jina dumi boobo ga kaa, sanda gallu boobo gorokoy no.

²¹and the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to supplicate Jehovah, and to seek Jehovah of hosts: I will go also.

²¹ Kwaara fo borey ga koy afo do ka ne: Iri ma koy da waasi ka gomni ŋwaaray Rabbi gaa. Iri ma Rabbi Kundeykoyo ceeci, iri mo ga koy.

²²And many peoples and strong nations shall come to seek Jehovah of hosts in Jerusalem, and to supplicate Jehovah.

²² Oho, dumi boobo ga kaa ka Rabbi Kundeykoyo ceeci Urusalima ra, i ma Rabbi gomno ceeci.

²³Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: In those days shall ten men take hold, out of all languages of the nations, shall even take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you; for we have heard [that] God is with you.

²³ Yaa no Rabbi Kundeykoyo ci: Jirbey din ra dumi da deeney kulu ra boro way ga Yahudance folloŋ kwaay di, i ma ne: «Iri ga koy araŋ banda, zama iri maa baaru kaŋ Irikoy go araŋ banda.»
