¹I love Jehovah, for he hath heard my voice [and] my supplications;

¹கர்த்தர் என் சத்தத்தையும் என் விண்ணப்பத்தையும் கேட்டதினால், அவரில் அன்புகூருகிறேன்.

²For he hath inclined his ear unto me, and I will call upon him during [all] my days.

²அவர் தமது செவியை எனக்குச் சாய்த்தபடியால், நான் உயிரோடிருக்குமளவும் அவரைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுவேன்.

³The bands of death encompassed me, and the anguish of Sheol took hold of me; I found trouble and sorrow:

³மரணக்கட்டுகள் என்னைச் சுற்றிக்கொண்டது, பாதாள இடுக்கண்கள் என்னைப் பிடித்தது; இக்கட்டையும் சஞ்சலத்தையும் அடைந்தேன்.

⁴Then called I upon the name of Jehovah: I beseech thee, Jehovah, deliver my soul.

⁴அப்பொழுது நான் கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தைத் தொழுதுகொண்டு: கர்த்தாவே, என் ஆத்துமாவை விடுவியும் என்று கெஞ்சினேன்.

⁵Gracious is Jehovah and righteous; and our God is merciful.

⁵கர்த்தர் கிருபையும் நீதியுமுள்ளவர், நம்முடைய தேவன் மனவுருக்கமானவர்.

⁶Jehovah keepeth the simple: I was brought low, and he saved me.

⁶கர்த்தர் கபடற்றவர்களைக் காக்கிறார்; நான் மெலிந்துபோனேன், அவர் என்னை இரட்சித்தார்.

⁷Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for Jehovah hath dealt bountifully with thee.

⁷என் ஆத்துமாவே, கர்த்தர் உனக்கு நன்மை செய்தபடியால், நீ உன் இளைப்பாறுதலுக்குத் திரும்பு.

⁸For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, my feet from falling.

⁸என் ஆத்துமாவை மரணத்துக்கும், என் கண்ணைக் கண்ணீருக்கும், என் காலை இடறுதலுக்கும் தப்புவித்தீர்.

⁹I will walk before Jehovah in the land of the living.

⁹நான் கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக ஜீவனுள்ளோர் தேசத்திலே நடப்பேன்.

¹⁰I believed, therefore have I spoken. As for me, I was greatly afflicted.

¹⁰விசுவாசித்தேன், ஆகையால் பேசுகிறேன்; நான் மிகுதியும் வருத்தப்பட்டேன்.

¹¹I said in my haste, All men are liars.

¹¹எந்த மனுஷனும் பொய்யன் என்று என் மனக்கலக்கத்திலே சொன்னேன்.

¹²What shall I render unto Jehovah, [for] all his benefits toward me?

¹²கர்த்தர் எனக்குச் செய்த எல்லா உபகாரங்களுக்காகவும், அவருக்கு என்னத்தைச் செலுத்துவேன்.

¹³I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of Jehovah.

¹³இரட்சிப்பின் பாத்திரத்தை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுவேன்.

¹⁴I will perform my vows unto Jehovah, yea, before all his people.

¹⁴நான் கர்த்தருக்குச் செய்த பொருத்தனைகளை அவருடைய ஜனங்களெல்லாருக்கு முன்பாகவும் செலுத்துவேன்.

¹⁵Precious in the sight of Jehovah is the death of his saints.

¹⁵கர்த்தருடைய பரிசுத்தவான்களின் மரணம் அவர் பார்வைக்கு அருமையானது.

¹⁶Yea, Jehovah! for I am thy servant; I am thy servant, the son of thy handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.

¹⁶கர்த்தாவே, நான் உமது அடியேன்; நான் உமது அடியாளின் புத்திரனும், உமது ஊழியக்காரனுமாயிருக்கிறேன்; என் கட்டுகளை அவிழ்த்துவிட்டீர்.

¹⁷I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of Jehovah.

¹⁷நான் உமக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரபலியைச் செலுத்தி, கர்த்தருடைய நாமத்தைத் தொழுதுகொள்ளுவேன்.

¹⁸I will perform my vows unto Jehovah, yea, before all his people,

¹⁸நான் கர்த்தருக்குச் செய்த பொருத்தனைகளை அவருடைய ஜனங்களெல்லாருக்கு முன்பாகவும்,

¹⁹In the courts of Jehovah's house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Hallelujah!

¹⁹கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தின் பிராகாரங்களிலும், எருசலேமே உன் நடுவிலும் நிறைவேற்றுவேன். அல்லேலூயா.
