1{To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David.} Jehovah, thou hast searched me, and known [me].
1கர்த்தாவே, நீர் என்னை ஆராய்ந்து, அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்.
2*Thou* knowest my down-sitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off;
2என் உட்காருதலையும் என் எழுந்திருக்குதலையும் நீர் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்; என் நினைவுகளைத் தூரத்திலிருந்து அறிகிறீர்.
3Thou searchest out my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways;
3நான் நடந்தாலும் படுத்திருந்தாலும் என்னைச் சூழ்ந்திருக்கிறீர்; என் வழிகளெல்லாம் உமக்குத் தெரியும்.
4For there is not yet a word on my tongue, [but] lo, O Jehovah, thou knowest it altogether.
4என் நாவில் சொல் பிறவாததற்கு முன்னே, இதோ, கர்த்தாவே, அதையெல்லாம் நீர் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்.
5Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thy hand upon me.
5முற்புறத்திலும் பிற்புறத்திலும் நீர் என்னை நெருக்கி, உமது கரத்தை என்மேல் வைக்கிறீர்.
6O knowledge too wonderful for me! it is high, I cannot [attain] unto it.
6இந்த அறிவு எனக்கு மிகுந்த ஆச்சரியமும், எனக்கு எட்டாத உயரமுமாயிருக்கிறது.
7Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? and whither flee from thy presence?
7உம்முடைய ஆவிக்கு மறைவாக எங்கே போவேன்? உம்முடைய சமுகத்தைவிட்டு எங்கே ஓடுவேன்?
8If I ascend up into the heavens thou art there; or if I make my bed in Sheol, behold, thou [art there];
8நான் வானத்திற்கு ஏறினாலும், நீர் அங்கே இருக்கிறீர்; நான் பாதாளத்தில் படுக்கை போட்டாலும், நீர் அங்கேயும் இருக்கிறீர்.
9[If] I take the wings of the dawn [and] dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
9நான் விடியற்காலத்துச் செட்டைகளை எடுத்து, சமுத்திரத்தின் கடையாந்தரங்களிலே போய்த் தங்கினாலும்,
10Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
10அங்கேயும் உமது கை என்னை நடத்தும், உமது வலதுகரம் என்னைப் பிடிக்கும்.
11And if I say, Surely darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night;
11இருள் என்னை மூடிக்கொள்ளுமென்றாலும், இரவும் என்னைச் சுற்றி வெளிச்சமாயிருக்கும்.
12Even darkness hideth not from thee, and the night shineth as the day: the darkness is as the light.
12உமக்கு மறைவாக இருளும் அந்தகாரப்படுத்தாது; இரவும் பகலைப்போல வெளிச்சமாயிருக்கும்; உமக்கு இருளும் வெளிச்சமும் சரி.
13For thou hast possessed my reins; thou didst cover me in my mother's womb.
13நீர் என் உள்ளிந்திரியங்களைக் கைக்கொண்டிருக்கிறீர்; என் தாயின் கர்ப்பத்தில் என்னைக் காப்பாற்றினீர்.
14I will praise thee, for I am fearfully, wonderfully made. Marvellous are thy works; and [that] my soul knoweth right well.
14நான் பிரமிக்கத்தக்க அதிசயமாய் உண்டாக்கப்பட்டபடியால், உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்; உமது கிரியைகள் அதிசயமானவைகள்; அது என் ஆத்துமாவுக்கு நன்றாய்த் தெரியும்.
15My bones were not hidden from thee when I was made in secret, curiously wrought in the lower parts of the earth.
15நான் ஒளிப்பிடத்திலே உண்டாக்கப்பட்டு, பூமியின் தாழ்விடங்களிலே விசித்திர விநோதமாய் உருவாக்கப்பட்டபோது, என் எலும்புகள் உமக்கு மறைவாயிருக்கவில்லை.
16Thine eyes did see my unformed substance, and in thy book all [my members] were written; [during many] days were they fashioned, when [as yet] there was none of them.
16என் கருவை உம்முடைய கண்கள் கண்டது; என் அவயவங்களில் ஒன்றாகிலும் இல்லாதபோதே அவைகள் அனைத்தும், அவைகள் உருவேற்படும் நாட்களும், உமது புஸ்தகத்தில் எழுதியிருந்தது.
17But how precious are thy thoughts unto me, O ùGod! how great is the sum of them!
17தேவனே, உமது ஆலோசனைகள் எனக்கு எத்தனை அருமையானவைகள்; அவைகளின் தொகை எவ்வளவு அதிகம்.
18[If] I would count them, they are more in number than the sand. When I awake, I am still with thee.
18அவைகளை நான் எண்ணப்போனால், மணலைப்பார்க்கிலும் அதிகமாம்; நான் விழிக்கும்போது இன்னும் உம்மண்டையில் இருக்கிறேன்.
19Oh that thou wouldest slay the wicked, O +God! And ye men of blood, depart from me.
19தேவனே, நீர் துன்மார்க்கனை அழித்தீரானால் நலமாயிருக்கும்; இரத்தப்பிரியரே, நீங்கள் என்னை விட்டு அகன்றுபோங்கள்.
20For they speak of thee wickedly, they take [thy name] in vain, thine enemies.
20அவர்கள் உம்மைக் குறித்துத் துன்மார்க்கமாய்ப் பேசுகிறார்கள்; உம்முடைய சத்துருக்கள் உமது நாமத்தை வீணாய் வழங்குகிறார்கள்.
21Do not I hate them, O Jehovah, that hate thee? and do not I loathe them that rise up against thee?
21கர்த்தாவே, உம்மைப் பகைக்கிறவர்களை நான் பகையாமலும், உமக்கு விரோதமாய் எழும்புகிறவர்களை அருவருக்காமலும் இருப்பேனோ?
22I hate them with perfect hatred; I account them mine enemies.
22முழுப்பகையாய் அவர்களைப் பகைக்கிறேன்; அவர்களை எனக்குப் பகைஞராக எண்ணுகிறேன்.
23Search me, O ùGod, and know my heart; prove me, and know my thoughts;
23தேவனே, என்னை ஆராய்ந்து, என் இருதயத்தை அறிந்துகொள்ளும்; என்னைச் சோதித்து, என் சிந்தனைகளை அறிந்துகொள்ளும்.
24And see if there be any grievous way in me; and lead me in the way everlasting.
24வேதனை உண்டாக்கும் வழி என்னிடத்தில் உண்டோ என்று பார்த்து, நித்திய வழியிலே என்னை நடத்தும்.
