1And I lifted up mine eyes again, and saw, and behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.
1และข้าพเจ้าได้หันกลับ เงยหน้าขึ้นอีกแลเห็น ดูเถิด มีรถรบสี่คันออกมาระหว่างภูเขาสองลูก ภูเขาเหล่านั้นเป็นภูเขาทองสัมฤทธิ์
2In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses;
2รถรบคันแรกเทียมม้าแดง รถรบคันที่สองม้าดำ
3and in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled, strong horses.
3รถรบคันที่สามม้าขาว รถรบคันที่สี่ม้าด่างสีเทา
4And I spoke and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord?
4แล้วข้าพเจ้าจึงถามทูตสวรรค์ผู้ที่สนทนากับข้าพเจ้าว่า "เจ้านายเจ้าข้า เหล่านี้คืออะไร"
5And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.
5และทูตสวรรค์นั้นตอบข้าพเจ้าว่า "เหล่านี้เป็นวิญญาณสี่ดวงแห่งฟ้าสวรรค์ ซึ่งออกมาหลังจากที่ได้ยืนอยู่ต่อพระพักตร์ขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าแห่งพิภพทั้งสิ้นแล้ว
6That in which are the black horses goeth forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grisled go forth towards the south country;
6ม้าดำตรงไปยังประเทศเหนือ ตัวขาวติดตามม้าดำไป และตัวสีด่างตรงไปยังประเทศใต้"
7and the strong go forth, and seek to go that they may walk to and fro through the earth. And he said, Go, walk to and fro through the earth. And they walked to and fro through the earth.
7และตัวสีเทาออกไป พวกมันก็ร้อนใจที่จะออกไปและตรวจตราพื้นพิภพ และท่านกล่าวว่า "ไปซิ ไปตรวจตราพิภพ" ดังนั้นม้าเหล่านั้นจึงตรวจตราพิภพ
8And he cried unto me, and spoke unto me, saying, See, these that go forth towards the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.
8แล้วท่านจึงร้องบอกข้าพเจ้าว่า "ดูเถิด ม้าเหล่านี้ที่ไปยังประเทศเหนือนั้นได้กระทำให้จิตวิญญาณของเราสงบนิ่งในประเทศเหนือนั้น"
9And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
9และพระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มายังข้าพเจ้าว่า
10Take [gifts] of them of the captivity, of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah, and come thou the same day, and enter into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, whither they are come from Babylon;
10"จงนำเอาเฮลดัย โทบียาห์ และเยดายาห์ไปเสียจากบรรดาเชลย ผู้ซึ่งกลับจากบาบิโลน ในวันเดียวกันนั้นไปยังเรือนของโยสิยาห์ บุตรชายเศฟันยาห์
11yea, take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set [them] upon the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest;
11จงเอาเงินและทองคำทำเป็นมงกุฎหลายมงกุฎ และสวมบนศีรษะของโยชูวาบุตรชายเยโฮซาดัก มหาปุโรหิต
12and speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, saying, Behold a man whose name is [the] Branch; and he shall grow up from his own place, and he shall build the temple of Jehovah:
12และกล่าวแก่เขาว่า `พระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธาตรัสดังนี้ว่า ดูเถิด ชายผู้ที่มีชื่อว่าพระอังกูร เพราะท่านจะไพบูลย์ในสถานที่ของท่าน และจะสร้างพระวิหารของพระเยโฮวาห์
13even he shall build the temple of Jehovah; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.
13ท่านผู้นี้แหละจะเป็นผู้สร้างพระวิหารของพระเยโฮวาห์ และจะรับเกียรติศักดิ์ และจะประทับและปกครองอยู่บนราชบัลลังก์ของท่าน และท่านจะเป็นปุโรหิตอยู่บนราชบัลลังก์ของท่าน และการหารือกันอย่างสันติจะมีอยู่ระหว่างท่านทั้งสอง'
14And the crowns shall be for Helem, and for Tobijah, and for Jedaiah, and for Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of Jehovah.
14และมงกุฎเหล่านั้นจะอยู่ในพระวิหารของพระเยโฮวาห์ เพื่อให้เป็นที่ระลึกถึงเฮเลม โทบียาห์ เยดายาห์ และเฮ็น บุตรชายของเศฟันยาห์
15And they that are far off shall come and build at the temple of Jehovah: and ye shall know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me unto you. And [this] shall come to pass, if ye will diligently hearken to the voice of Jehovah your God.
15บรรดาผู้ที่อยู่ห่างไกลจะมาช่วยสร้างพระวิหารของพระเยโฮวาห์ และท่านทั้งหลายจะทราบว่า พระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธาทรงใช้ข้าพเจ้ามายังท่าน ถ้าท่านทั้งหลายจะเชื่อฟังพระสุรเสียงของพระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของท่านอย่างเคร่งครัด สิ่งนี้จะเป็นไปดังกล่าวนั้น"
