1And I lifted up mine eyes again, and saw, and behold, a flying roll.
1ข้าพเจ้าหันกลับและเงยหน้าขึ้นอีกก็แลเห็น ดูเถิด หนังสือม้วนหนึ่งเหาะอยู่นั่น
2And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I see a flying roll: the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.
2ท่านจึงถามข้าพเจ้าว่า "เจ้าเห็นอะไร" ข้าพเจ้าตอบว่า "ข้าพเจ้าและเห็นหนังสือม้วนหนึ่งเหาะอยู่ มันยาวยี่สิบศอก และกว้างสิบศอก"
3And he said unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole land: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off according to it on this side; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off according to it on that side.
3แล้วท่านจึงบอกข้าพเจ้าว่า "นี่แหละเป็นคำสาปที่แผ่ออกไปทั่วพื้นแผ่นดินทั้งสิ้น ผู้ที่ทำการโจรกรรมทุกคนจะต้องถูกขจัดออก ตั้งแต่นี้ไปตามความในหนังสือม้วนนั้น และทุกคนที่ปฏิญาณจะต้องถูกขจัดออกตั้งแต่นี้ไปตามที่กำหนดไว้
4I will cause it to go forth, saith Jehovah of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name; and it shall lodge in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.
4พระเยโฮวาห์จอมโยธาตรัสว่า เราส่งคำสาปนั้นออกไป และคำนั้นจะเข้าไปในเรือนของโจร และในเรือนของคนที่ปฏิญาณเท็จโดยออกนามของเรา และคำนี้จะค้างคืนอยู่ในเรือน ผลาญเรือนนั้นเสียทั้งตัวไม้และศิลา"
5And the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.
5ทูตสวรรค์ผู้ที่สนทนากับข้าพเจ้าได้ออกมาพูดกับข้าพเจ้าว่า "จงเงยหน้าขึ้นดูว่า สิ่งที่ออกไปนั้นคืออะไร"
6And I said, What is it? And he said, This is the ephah that goeth forth. And he said, This is their resemblance in all the land.
6ข้าพเจ้าจึงว่า "นั่นคืออะไร" ท่านจึงตอบว่า "นี่คือเอฟาห์ที่ออกไป" และท่านจึงว่า "นี่คือสิ่งคล้ายคลึงในแผ่นดินทั้งสิ้น"
7And behold, there was lifted up a round plate of lead; and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.
7และ ดูเถิด ตะกั่วหนึ่งตะลันต์ก็ถูกยกขึ้น และมีผู้หญิงคนหนึ่งนั่งอยู่ในเอฟาห์นั้น
8And he said, This is Wickedness: and he cast her into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.
8และเขากล่าวว่า "นี่คือความชั่ว" และท่านก็ผลักนางนั้นเข้าไปในเอฟาห์ แล้วก็ผลักลูกน้ำหนักที่ทำด้วยตะกั่วนั้นปิดปากมันไว้
9And I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; and they had wings like the wings of a stork; and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heavens.
9แล้วข้าพเจ้าก็เงยหน้าขึ้นแลเห็น ดูเถิด มีผู้หญิงสองคนออกมานั่น มีลมอยู่ในปีกของนาง นางมีปีกเหมือนปีกของนกกระสาดำ และนางก็ยกเอฟาห์ขึ้นระหว่างโลกและฟ้าสวรรค์
10And I said to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these carry the ephah?
10แล้วข้าพเจ้าจึงพูดกับทูตสวรรค์ผู้ที่สนทนากับข้าพเจ้าว่า "นางเหล่านั้นจะนำเอฟาห์ไปที่ไหน"
11And he said unto me, To build it a house in the land of Shinar; and it shall be established, and set there upon its own base.
11ท่านตอบข้าพเจ้าว่า "ไปยังแผ่นดินชินาร์ไปสร้างเรือนไว้ให้เอฟาห์ เมื่อเตรียมอย่างนี้เสร็จแล้ว นางเหล่านั้นจะวางเอฟาห์ไว้บนฐานของมัน"
